Such a good company, any queries I have had have been dealt with so quickly and efficiently. The staff are so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JDS to anyone.

Dougie and his team are second to none. Responsiveness, workmanship and pricing are on point. I had a couple of radiator issues that were fixed and made quite a difference to the heat in the house. Highly recommend JDS

Douglas and the team were great

Douglas and the team were great. I have used them twice for different jobs. One was a replacement cylinder for heating and other was new kitchen sink. Quality of work was excellent and they don’t make a mess. I would definitely reccomend jds for any plumbing and heating needs

My boiler and remote were not always talking to each other so the heating was often not enabled. I contacted JDS and the problem was diagnosed quickly. Within a few days the new thermostat was fitted and a matching remote supplied. Ryan did a great job. Quick and efficient service. Boiler and remote working well. Great service as usual.

Phenomenal service

Phenomenal service from start to finish , my boiler wasn’t working & there response time was fantastic. Sadly it had to be replaced so within 1 day they were fitting a new boiler . Jennifer in the office went above and beyond and the 3 guys who came out both days were so helpful and explained everything from start to finish . It’s been a very long time since I deal with such a professional outfit … couldn’t recommend them highly enough

Have used JDS GAS SERVICES recently to install a gas boiler and also a gas cooker. Were pleased with the standard of workmanship on installation as well as clear updates from office of timings of visits.Wouldn’t hesitate to use them in future.

Boiler service…

Engineer arrived on time and completed a full service on our combi boiler. Clean,punctual and polite. I have used JDS for years and wouldn’t use any other company.

Excellent service from the technicians and office on several occasions from servicing to gas capping. Most recently, our new home failed a gas service and had to be shut off. With a newborn, we had to get a new boiler imminently. The office called with a quote less than 1 hour after the technician left, and less than 24 hours later I have a new Ideal boiler installed at a good price and fitted really cleanly. Really great, professional company who I will continue to use for servicing and any gas needs going forward.

Dougie and his colleagues are there when you need them in an emergency (and also for the routine annual boiler service)

Just had a replacement combo boiler installed today and I'm very pleased with the level of service received. Everyone was very helpful, polite and courteous. I have used JDS on many occasions over the last number of years. They are very reliable and do very professional job at a fair price. I also need gas safety certification every year for my rental properties.They contact me each year and liaise with the tenant and sent me the certificates. Great service I would highly recommend to anyone and I give them 5 stars.

Very professional ,reliable and honest company

I have been using JDS Gas Services over a number of years I have found them to be honest, reliable and very professional. They do a great job at a reasonable price. They do my gas safety certificates each year for my rental properties. They let me know when the certificates are due each year liaise with the tenants a suitable day and time and send me the certificates once completed. Really nice people to deal with and give great service I would highly recommended them to anyone

First class company delivering first class service

Got our gas boiler serviced by these guys who did a great job. A small gas leak was found and they organised to repair it a couple of days later. True to their word the engineer turned up on time and repaired it and as it turned out to be a smaller job than quoted for didn't charge as much. Great service from a great company.

Excellent services as usual

Excellent service as usual. Visit was planned between 8 and 12 and I received a last minuit appointment and had to be out house before 12. Called the office and Jennifer very kindly scheduled me as the first visit to fit in with my plans. Ryan arrived prompt and very professional and polite. Serviced my boiler and was happy to advise no problems and then emailed me a copy of the report. No hassle at all and excellent service. Thank you all, great team

Just had my annual boiler service…

Just had my annual boiler service carried out by JDS and as always arrived at time arranged and carried the work out to high standard, been using JDS for 5 or 6 years now for various jobs and never been let down.

Reliable service

Reliable, professional and excellent value. Our service and gas repair was fixed when they said it would be done. No mess, no rushing and it appears to be a quality Company. We are returning customers and have no intention on that changing. Definitely recommend them.

Dougie and his team installed our boiler a few years ago and have serviced it each year. We've always had a great experience - would definitely recommend!

Used this company to get an outside tap supplied and fitted. Two guys arrived when expected, had a look at the plumbing under the sink, devised a strategy, and fitted the tap all within half an hour. Absolutely brilliant service! They were polite, professional and highly skilled, can’t praise them enough. Very reasonably priced as well, I highly recommend this company, no wonder they have such a high review score. And as an added bonus I left out a couple of time outs and 2 tunnocks tea cakes for them and they only ate one of each, leaving me the chance to scoff the rest and claim it was them when my wife gets home.

All of the team at JDS gas services are great to deal with. Jennifer is quick to respond to enquiries and get your job booked in and the lads are all very reliable. They fitted our new boiler and hive hub without any bother or mess and were great with our kids and dog. They also now come every year to service the boiler and always turn up on time. I can’t fault this company- if you need a new boiler, boiler repair or service I would highly recommend JDS!

Love the team at JDS, have used them for boiler maintenance, boiler install and fitting of a radiator. Always exceptionally quick with responses and leave the place clean and tidy after!

Thanks to Douglas, Jennifer, Ryan and Ally for the professional and friendly service. Our boiler broke and we were left without heating and hot water in the week before Christmas (2023). Contacted JDS and Dougie came out later that day. They provided us with two portable heaters until our replacement boiler had been delivered and installed. Arrived when they said they would and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service. Certainly would recommend JDS for any central heating issue. Will definitely be using them for the annual servicing of the boiler.

Called JDS Gas Services this morning after gas leak had been made safe. They arrived within the hour to repair leak, outstanding service, can't recommend enough. Engineers were great, explained everything really clearly and leak was repaired really quickly. Won't hesitate to recommend E Campbell

Got a new boiler put in from JDS gas services and they were absoloutely brilliant! Dougie was super quick with responses and gave advice on how to fix an issue we were having with it a few weeks prior! Didn't send someone out on a call out charge and instead told us what the issue probably was and what to do and he was right! Saved us money and was really helpful. Dougie, Ally and Ryan all came out to help install our new boiler. The guys were lovely, had good chat and were helpful and informative. We have booked in to get it serviced by them in the future. Would highly recommend JDS gas services to anyone who is looking.

superb service from Dougie, Ryan and their team of helpers ( roofer electrician and apprentice) , the quietest, cleanest workers ever. New Bolier supplied and fitted within a couple of days from advising we needed it and at a price we were very happy with. Had used British Gas for 20 years and paid them fortunes but sadly never again will we let them darken our door. JDS are my new heroes!!

Had a new boiler fitted by JDS and was extremely pleased with their work and client service. After initially speaking with another company who left a lot to be desired in terms of communication, JDS were great to deal with. They were quick, reasonably priced and did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing gas services.

I would highly recommend JDS plumbing and gas services, very professional and excellent prices. Dougie switched an electric hob to a gas hob, his work was a very high standard and carried out quickly. He was friendly and his communication with me prior to the job was excellent. I would not hesitate to use him again!

We had a new boiler fitted earlier this year and we are very pleased with it. Dougie and his team did a professional job and were also quick to return to sort out a leaking boiler pipe. We would recommend this company for any plumbing and central heating work.

Excellent job by JDS! Dougie came round for a free quote and we quickly agreed a date to carry out work that suited us. At the job - he was friendly, professional, efficient and left everything nice and tidy. One of the jobs was slightly more complex that we originally thought but it wasn't a problem for Dougie. I would highly recommend and will definitely will be using them again in the future!

Got my new boiler fitted today and I am now sitting nice and cosy. Dougie arrived with his colleague Ryan and both of them were very polite and friendly guys. I left the house and let them get on with it and returned 2 hours later. They were then joined with an electrician but I never got his name and finalised the installation. They spoke me through the system and how it all works and did not leave until I was completely happy everything was working to my satisfaction . I highly recommend JDS, they are affordable, efficient and left my house spotless, you would never have known workmen had been it. Thank you for an excellent service.
