Purchased supply and fit , Tesla Powerwall3 (no backup) and 14 panels with solid bird protection skirting. Sales process - excellent, a 45 min zoom call takes place where you are took through the whole process and how it all works specifically for your property ( sun predictions etc) - chance to ask questions etc. They also have loads of you tube videos you can watch. No sales pressure like a lot of other firms. About a week later, an in house surveyor visits the property and discusses options. I particularly like the way the design the system with you in mind rather than just giving you a generic set up ( like most firms). I did loads of research on solar installers and I got a good feeling from these guys. I get the impression that this industry uses lots of sub contractors who will be hard to get back if things go wrong afterwards but am confident that the only work Apex Doma sub out is the scaffolding. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Installation straight forward, scaffolding up on Tuesday, roof work Thursday, PW installation and commissioning Friday. The team Matt, Liam, Charlie and Owen were spot on. Very professional and tidy and obviously love the work and tech. I particularly like the fact that Apex Doma are employing a couple of young lads and teaching them a decent trade. Paperwork G99 application, building control all done in background. Aftersales Again all done via YouTube videos, explaining how app works, available tariffs, how to get best out of the kit. Overall. Would recommend, lots of dodgy firms out there, no the cheapest but as I said earlier you pay for what you get.

Initial Contact and Site Survey was great, Ian couldn't do enough. Would recommend the Staff on site they were excellent, very work orientated and tidy.It was a Pleasure to have them at the address. Administration, I can only say,a little hit and miss, pleasant staff, but didn't always follow through with promises and I had to chase a number of times. All together a good experience. Remains to be seen how they respond to any issues or advice along the way.

I. am a customer of Apex Doma. I did the installation in two bites,but I now recognised it is better to have solar panels and Battery at the same time. Now the system is intergrated it is a hugh success. In winter I have had to reduce my Direct Debit. The best company to supply energy to you, which is needed at night is Octopus. Excellent in every department Well done Apex Doma for setting up a professional isntallation and advice company staffed with professionals

Judge a company based on aftercare.

I followed APEX Doma for sometime now on YouTube. Their content on all things solar and battery installs, are educational & well balanced. It was because of this, I approached them for a quote to install a Powerwall 3 expansion pack. Ian was brilliant when we first spoken. There was no hard sales push, more assurances and guidance, along with a fantastic quote, a quote which they price matched after showing them prices from other installers. But I really wanted to go with APEX Doma, due to my confidence in them. Installation was done within weeks of getting a quote. The communication throughout was second to none - first class. Or what I call when talking of my own standards I want to achieve in my professional career, ‘Best in Class’! The backroom staff where all brilliant. However, after they left site, I shared the work on a Facebook community group for Powerwall owners in the uk. Though the Powerwall expansion pack was fully functioning properly, the connection cable, according to many was somewhat unsightly. I saw this for myself once people raised it. I couldn’t unsee it. Now this wasn’t really a huge issue, more so me having high standards, and many people in that particular group are strongly opinionated in a healthy way. We all want a good looking set up. A negative can become a huge positive! I approached this with AD, Ian and his team and sent in photos of the work carried out along with a proposal of how I’d like the connection cable to run so its aesthetically pleasing to look at. APEX Doma, agreed it could look better and today, they sent the manager of the installation team around to personally put this right. They replaced a 2.5m connection cable with a 4m cable and spent a few hours, not rushing, aligning the cable so it’s neat and tidy. Liam the manager took genuine pride in getting this done perfectly. This was all done at no extra cost. I wish I could upload a picture to show the work as I don’t think this review does them any favours without showing the fix. Long story short, companies are never going be 100% perfect, however, it’s how they react when a customer flags a concern. There was no resistance from them whatsoever and I felt hugely valued and respected. I now know, that should something go wrong they’ll have my back. Don’t see any part of this review as negative, read it as reassurance that this company works to the highest of standards, and when something isn’t right, they’ll hold themselves accountable and will bend over backwards to look after their customers. Having said that, I better pay their final bill now :) Another positive point, they’ve been great at not wanting full payment until resolution had been met. Not once have they applied pressure on me for final payment. Thank you everyone at Apex Doma who was part of the journey in looking after me. Just about to watch your latest YouTube ‘Is Solar Worth It’ - Part 1. This company, I rate 5 stars without any hesitation. I’ve since shared my experience and update on the Facebook PW community. From initially talking to Ian, and Adam coming out to do the site visit, the installation by the engineers was first class. The engineers were professional at all times, easy to converse with, and always left the work areas tidy at the end of each day.

Fantastic service that's competitively priced

Fantastic team to work with that have such a professional team all the way throughout. From the first interaction with Ian all the way through the planning, scheduling and installation was super easy and seamless. The quality of the work, installation, support was brilliant while still having a competitive price. Highly recommend using them even if your not quite what sort of system you need.

Excellent swift service

We changed our broadband supplier which included a new router, I managed to update all our devices to the new system except our GivEnergy inverter. Contacted Emily at apex doma who was extremely helpful and sent me an email on how to update the WiFi. No matter what I did I couldn’t get the WiFi working, so without hesitation Emily sent out an engineer who arrived within 45min and had it up and running in no time. Can’t thank them enough for such swift action, especially as it was their first day back at work after the Christmas holidays 2025/26. Excellent service.

Great company to use. Good communication and support, always someone at the end of the phone. We have had solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall and a Tesla car charger fitted. Happy with all. Special shout out to Matt, Olivia and Roan for their help making this all work.

Great install backed up by great customer care

We had solar and a Tesla PW3 installed at the start of this year. The team were the most professional team of contractors we've had on our property from start to finish. This week we've had a minor issue with our PW3 and Jenny on the phone listened and took action and booked Matt to attend us a day later to check it over. That's customer care to be proud of! We have, and will continue to recommend Apex Doma to anyone thinking about solar or battery storage.

Really pleased with the EV charger installed. Neat and tidy even though it wasn’t an easy job. Turned up on time and on the day arranged. Positive experience dealing with all members of staff throughout the process from speaking to Roan, Claire and Emily in the office to Tom, Matt and Owen installing it on the day. Thankyou! Great from start to finish - from the point of first contact through to completion the team was there to provide the information needed and advise on requirements- end up with a very neat installation. The team were always available and kept us informed about the installation- they actually managed to complete it in a day by sending a larger team and starting early. They did come back the following day to fit the solar skirts as some of the brackets were missing from the delivery. Particular call out needs to be given to Abby as she was helpful and called us back within a short period when she wasn’t available, the installation team (and their supporting team) of Matt (knows his stuff and was willing to work with you to deliver what you as customer wanted), Tom, Joel, Charlie, Jimmy, Owen, Roan, Emily and Claire. It was great to have Adam visit to check on the install and have the team make a few minor tweaks as he believed there was a better way of doing the job. Would have no hesitation in recommending these guys. Comments from neighbours have all been positive with one saying the installation is a lot neater than there’s.

Like most folk with this relatively new tech, I took a leap of faith in sourcing a Battery and Solar Panel Installer and I could not have found a better one in my area of the Country. Apex Doma was the right one for me, from start to finish. Ian, one of the engineers and co founders of the company came to do the initial survey and this was the start of an interesting journey, to say the least and he along with the fantastic team I came to meet as the project unfolded, proved to me, I couldn’t have been in better hands. Every single one of the Team, Charley and Joe L and Liam and Owen the Solar guys and Joe and and his colleagues on the Battery installation, to the Team at HQ in Wilmslow , couldn’t have been more personable or approachable and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to every single one of you. It wasn’t the easiest of Projects for any of us, but we got there in the end with your guidance and I am very pleased with the result. … now all I have to do is sort my Tariff 😳

I’ve had a brilliant experience with Apex Doma from start to finish. They have been knowledgable, professional and have guided me through the process. The quality of workmanship has been exceptional and the team of installers have worked diligently to give us the best end product. Special mentions to Charlie, Joe L and Jimmy who installed my panels and EV charger. It wasn’t easy to navigate the differing companies and products available. I found Ian (MD) on YouTube and his knowledgeable and passionate videos gave me everything I needed to know that Apex Doma were the perfect and only company for us.

Initial site viewing booked a month in advance and was cancelled at the last minute because of filming. Changed the fuse box and left a mess next to it (fortunately didn't throw what I thought was rubbish away) On two occasions got demands for overdue stage payments. Difficult to pay when you don't have the invoices. Came to fit the panels and asked what the rubbish was. Apparently it was the gateway that should have already been fitted. Scaffolding was booked to be removed today. Nobody turned up. Electrician booked in for Friday to fit gateway - rings on Tuesday to say he's on his way when I'm down south. Communication either non existent or completely wrong. Edit: Changed from 1 star to 3 star. Apex tried hard after initial review to improve the experience.

Like most people, i was slightly nervous about using a company without a recommendation, but don't be, from start to finish, they have ALL been brilliant, and I mean the whole team A special thanks to the installation team Matt, Tom, Jimmy, Owen, Olivia and Steff. Matt & Tom did a superb job of fitted our Powerwall 3. They turned up early on the day and the install went very smoothly. They were very professional throughout, explaining everything along the way. They even kept my 3 1/2 year old entertained and answered every question she asked them (and there were a lot!). Now just need to persuade my partner to "allow" me to put solar panels on the roof...!

Had 2 very polite guys around today to wire in the battery and other connections. A 2 day job, no mess left, no dust, everything was left as found. They explained the battery and shutdown switches and went through the app. Tom and Matt did a great job.

Charlie & Joe W fitted our solar panels and rang to let us know what time to expect them and explained the process, which was really helpful. Matt & Tom came to fit all the electrics and Matt was clear in showing us what he planned to do, asking us about placement of everything and explaining everything once they'd done. All the lads were polite, friendly, introduced themselves, explained what they were doing and we're great. If only all workman were as good!

First rate, professional battery installation job carried out by Matt & Tom. Initial enquiry was dealt with quickly and effectively by Ian, Steff, Abby and the rest of the support staff with a detailed quote and scheduling information all communicated clearly and promptly. A complex job that required a high level of technical understanding - Apex Doma achieved everything we hoped for and would definitely use them again and again recommend to friends and family.

From my first meeting with Apex Doma to the final installation, everything was professionally done, on time, no surprises! I had solar panels and a battery installed. Special thanks to the solar installation team of Charlie, Jose, Harry , Joe and Liam. They were punctual, polite and worked as a good team. Also thanks to the battery installation team, Joe, Tom and Matt. They did a great job, and answered all my questions. It's now about 4 weeks since the system was commissioned and all is working well. All my emails to the office throughout the process were quickly replied to - thanks Abby and colleagues. A quality organization, thank you all!

Having spoken to 3 different companies when looking into solar panels and battery storage installations, it was very easy to select the team at Apex Doma to carry out the work. I had very limited knowledge on how the systems work and what my different setup options are, and the initial consultations with Ian were an excellent education for me. He was extremely thorough, very clear and kept it simple enough for me to fully understand… Additionally, there was no “Sales Pressure” whatsoever – the whole thing was very consultative and engineering led. After choosing to go ahead, the level of communication throughout the process was also very impressive… I was kept updated almost daily via email or WhatsApp, and any given times/dates for updates or work starting were met 100%. The professionalism didn’t stop there either, the install team carrying out the work (Liam & Charlie on the panels / roof, Sam & Jimmy on the inverter / battery / internals) were all great… Super helpful, polite and incredibly neat and tidy (the roof team even cleared the gutters whilst they were up there, given you don’t get many chances to have scaffolding up to do that kind of job!). We have a 12 panel system, with a 5kw GivEnergy inverter and 9.5kw GivEnergy battery… Ian provided links to YouTube videos he has recorded to help with tariff selection, and pointers on using the app to control the system. Overall, I can not recommend Apex Doma highly enough… It has been a 5* service from start to finish! Thanks again – Keith & Family.

What can I say, simply outstanding company to deal with. Both Adam and Ian were amazing from start to finish, the installation team are professional, lovely and all aspects of the installation I’m delighted with. As with anything like this, it didn’t always go to plan, but the team kept me updated, resolved any issues and answered all my questions. I wish more companies valued customers like this. The system (22 panels and two Tesla Powerwall) is superb, I have to admit being slightly obsessed watching the generation and storage virtually eliminate my electric bill :-) Overall, can’t recommend Apex Doma Solar enough, outstaying and keep up the good work.

I've been really pleased and impressed with Apex Doma, the solar install was really smooth and all the staff were all super professional. The turn around time from order to install was quick and I was kept up to date along the process as the various steps such as G99 application was submitted and approved. I would highly recommend talking to Ian, Adam or anyone else in the team. Everyone is really knowledgeable about the systems they install. Talking to Ian helped me understand the bigger picture and how everything works in the system and the best way to utiliise the system based on my usage. I was so pleased with the work and experience that I have gone back to Apex to add an EV charger to my system. Apex Doma installed a Givenergy Solar / Storage system at my home, consisting of 16 solar panels, a 5kw invertor and a 9.5kw battery. The Apex Doma team arrived on time and completed the installation in two days to a very high standard and I would definitely recommend them. I will be using them again to fit an EV charger in the next couple of months.
