Jonathan and his team recently installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 and a 10-panel solar system for us. We chose ARC for the installation following a family recommendation. Their quote was competitive and their availability was good. The main reason for choosing ARC over other suppliers was that Jonathan took the time to listen to what we wanted to achieve with the system and suggested the best equipment and siting arrangements to meet our goals. The installation was quick, efficient, super clean and tidy, and—best of all—matched our wish of hiding all cables and connections, giving us an aesthetically beautiful setup. The team were also a pleasure to work with and to have in our home. The ARC team’s knowledge and expertise were excellent, and they were on hand to overcome some specific technical issues (due to our Powerwall and Gateway being sited in my garden office rather than near the main fuse box, so not a conventional setup). Their solution, rather than being a compromise, managed to give a solid system connection and greatly improve data performance to the office. Which was a massive bonus! We couldn’t recommend ARC highly enough, and are delighted with the whole project.

Another excellent installation by Jonathan and his team. We were recommended by Joe Shanklin after visiting his property. Everything went like clockwork from the scaffolding going up to the completion of install in 5 days. Jonathan and his team carried out an excellent installation, tidy workers and have a full understanding of solar systems. The system has been running for 6 days and we have not had to import any electric from the grid since install. The quote was very competitive against other installers but talking to other installers Jonathan had by far more knowledge on solar systems.

What a super company to deal with! Full discussion to ensure that I was fully happy with what was being offered and the benefits to me, then a clearly very expert site assessment and then an incredibly neat fitting of the solar system and integration with mains and with the car charger. Almost seems like beating the system to charge the car up from sunshine! A very tidy finished product and the site left immaculate. I have cheerfully recommended them to immediate family and good friends - and I know we will remain good friends! If you are thinking of solar, please use this superb local company.

Amazing tailored service from a family ran business. I originally had a very competitive quote from Octopus Energy and a friend recommended I try someone local to be a comparative benchmark. I was put in touch with Arc Technical when I enquired through a Solar comparison site and was pleasantly surprised. I was upfront with my current quote. Jonathan, the company director was extremely knowledgable and was reassuring with his background and experience. So much so, that he easily spotted that floor in my original Octopus quote, the inverter wasn’t beefy enough to handle more than a kettle on! Something that larger companies don’t always consider with a one size fits all installation. Jonathan was able to beef up my inverter, and still came in under Octopus’s quote. He spent all the time I need explaining options and we ended up only spending a fraction more but went from 12 panels to an 18 panel system with chunky 9.5kw battery and 5kw inverter. You can be rest assured you are in safe hands, as Jonathan inspects other installations when he isn’t installing with his family ensuring all regulations and certifications are complied with. Jonathan, his son Ollie are professional, efficient and know their onions. The contracting scaffolders they use were polite, efficient and tidy. I would have no doubts about recommending Arc Technical for anyone who wants a tailored and bespoke system meeting your needs and budget. After getting many quotes for Solar PV panels with battery storage from far and wide, I found ARC Technical by chance. As they were local to me I contacted Jonathan, who came out to our home, measured up and designed a system tailored to our needs. Once we agreed the price within a couple of weeks Jonathan, Oliver and Jono were on our roof installing our 16 panel array with battery as per photos. It only took them a couple of days and they left it all working and tidied up. We had a teach in on how to operate everything. I have to say the installation and equipment used has the look and feel of high end quality. I thoroughly recommend ARC Technical to everyone. P.s. it’s been up and running a few weeks now and performing beyond our expectations we haven’t bought any electricity from the grid, even on dull days only pesky standing charges.
