Faultless! What a great experience from start to finish, from first contact with Mark for a quote, through Nicola and Louise in the office, and the installation team Sam, Dan and Mark. It has been beyond my expectations, friendly, efficient and clean and tidy work done at my house, turned up bang on time every day, got on with the work, Sam took the time to answer any of my questions, without hesitation, in a clear and concise manner. We chose Complete Solar on recommendation from friends who had them installed on their house. We are so glad we did! The installation which is now over eighteen months ago was quick, and easy. the whole process was explained with Complete Solar obtaining permissions for installation and grid connection. Their engineer Sam was knowledgeable and sorted everything out. We had twelve panels, an inverter and battery installed, the cost was reasonable and cheaper than a lot of other suppliers. We subsequently had three more panels installed along with an EV car charger, Sam sorted the whole thing out including some trouble shooting, including contacting the charger company. We now charge our EV direct from the Solar installation at no cost during summer months. We have had no issues at all with the installation, and if we have any questions, a call to the office gets any questions answered, (usually in relation to the inverter app) The service back up from Complete Solar has been second to none, we feel that we are completely supported both from their engineers and office staff. (A big thank you to them all) They will explain that solar is an averages game, you will make a lot through summer and not so much in winter, dependent of weather, if you use it thoughtfully the savings are considerable, we estimate that we have saved around £800 per year though solar use. This is through appliance and EV charge during the day, battery use during the evening and grid feedback albeit we are on the lower feedback tariff) We have consistently recommended Complete Solar to friends and acquaintances and have no hesitation in posting this recommendation online, their service has been that good.

Wonderful service from Complete Solar and Renewables Ltd from the beginning to the end. Our planning meeting with Nicola was straight forward and she was able to answer all our questions and worries about the roof suitability (it's an old house and old roof). The installation team was efficient, quiet and very respectful. The whole system was installed quickly and has been working beautifully. I also like the app which allows me to see how much electricity is generated and consumed. Highly recommend them.

They did a great job of advising us on the type of installation that was suitable for our home. They then installed the products in a very professional mannor (during awful weather) and had everything up and running within 3/4 days. I highly recommend them, they have a great team who communicate well and provide customers with the information and feedback necessary to make a significant financial decision.

Could have been, should have been 5 stars

I have an existing Solar setup and had Complete Solar replace the inverter, install a new fuse board and set up my Pylontech batteries, which all happened at the end of summer, 2024. Firstly, I was charged £80 for the quote, which I (wrongly) assumed would be taken off the final bill. It wasn't. When their engineer came round to "look at the job" we agreed the location and layout of the batteries and inverter and I explained I already had a shelf system for the battery stack. Whilst the equipment was installed and worked correctly, my instructions as to the location of the inverter were completely ignored (he put it on the wrong wall) and when challenged, I was told "it was due to the cable length". Which was COMPLETE nonsense. They supplied and charged me for the battery mounting kit, which was not needed (I'll have to put it on eBay). They also left the 'old' inverter in the middle of the garden...I'd have moved it but for the cancer that has left me somewhat weakened, physically. But...the system worked and I cannot fault them for that. When it came to paying the final bill, I settled in full, but made clear to "management" that I had felt "unlistened" to when it came to the installation layout. It was feedback as opposed to a full blown complaint. Fast forward another six months and I return to them asking for a quote to fit 3 more batteries. Initially the quote came in at £4.5k for batteries that retail at £3k. I assumed there was some kind of mistake so when I queried it I was told 'oh...that also includes delivery'. I then fell ill for a few weeks and left it. I then recover and pop into their offices to see if I can just get 3 batteries that I've now bought, for £3k (like I did the first time). The young lady studiously taps out the requirement and spec on her keyboard and the quote should be ready in a couple of days. But nothing appears. A week later I happen to be passing by their offices again and pop in again to see where the quote is at. But I am told 'oh Grant was talking about that the other day', but no real conclusion. For a very simple set up for a returning customer I couldn't quite get why this was so problematic. She goes on to tell me that they really only to 'solar installations' and not 'one man band jobs', and as a "medium sized company" they don't really do this sort of thing without having to charge a premium. So I say, tell me what that premium is as I have 15kw kilowatts of battery storage at home doing nothing. I am assured a quote would follow the next day. So, after a week when there's nothing in my inbox I get online and found a chap who got the work done for £200. What I object to is them just not being straight (and wasting a lot of time) by just not telling me they weren't interested from the get go. Bit of a shame as my next project is a 9kw solar roof, inverter and battery system at my mum's house. So, I guess if you want something off the shelf, are prepared to have an installation that suits them (not you) if you're not bothered about having any after sales care, want to pay £80 for the sheer pleasure of them giving you a quote in the first place, then these guys are for you. I also HATE writing negative reviews; a bit of reasonableness on their part and I would have been singing their praises from the rooftops, recommending to my friends etc and they'd have been in the frame for the next project.

We used this company to fit our solar panels and were so pleased with the job they did, they were the “go to” company when we needed an electric vehicle charger fitted. Once again, the whole team have performed efficiently, carefully and courteously. Well done!
