A house visit from Warm Works is also advisable so that your storage heaters can be upgraded and topped up with energy during daytime, so that they can release that energy whenever it's required. The same can be said with a Hot Water tank upgrade. Switching to energy suppliers (Octopus) that can pay you back for the energy going back into the grid is also a little win. If you have a smart meter it's a great feeling going days on end seeing that it's not costing you any energy, even when big usage like a washing machine or electric vehicle charge has been done at the right times.
