Alex was recommended to me by a friend who had a solar installation fitted by Omniorigin. We had a lengthy consultation to discuss our expectations,our daily electrical use and how much our electric bills cost, & what we could achieve in terms of panels. Alex made solar simple for us to understand, particularly the need for a certain size inverter to capture peak energy use and the right size battery to import off peak cheap rate tariffs through the night, store it in the battery to use it during the day at peak time, marvellous! Wow we have saved money on our energy bills so far and it works during the winter when solar has gone to sleep. We had three quotes, Omniorigin were not the cheapest but they were most informative and helpful, and we felt that they were the most trustworthy with the addition of the MCS accreditations. There is a guarantee the battery and the inverter for 10 years, which is more than the others that were only offering five. We’re really happy with our installation and would recommend Alex and Omniorigin to anybody that wants solar to save money and I feel I’m doing my bit for the planet.

We wanted a solar system fitted to our house and weren’t really sure exactly what we wanted. Alex came round to see us to have a consultation about what it is we were wanting to do and to get the best out of a design that would fit our roof. He also explained the option of having battery storage and importing cheap Tower of energy through the night and being able to use that during the day at a significantly reduced rate of 7 pence kilowatt, reducing our bills by 65%. We also have energy security which is great. I didn’t know that just solar panels and inverter doesn’t offer you power during outages. They also spent time showing us how to use the app so we can see how our system is working, which is great. All in all, we were really happy with Alex and Omniorigin , very professional and polite staff, which is important when we have young children. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Omniorigin again and would recommend them to anybody if you want a safe pair of hands.
