My solar panels had stopped generating. The company that installed them went out of business many years ago. I really thought they would just be a roof decoration! I contacted Solar & Wind applications and Marty was able to tell me that my inverter had packed in - he even knew what the error code would be! It was a known fault, apparently. He installed a new, more modern inverter a week later. Now the system is working again. So refreshing to have someone who will genuinely advise what’s right for the customer! Highly recommended.

I bought a house not long ago with solar panels and could not find a certificate of the installation that I needed. I had no business with this company but part of the system was installed by them. I contacted them just in case they could help and Marty, who I believe is the owner, is the most helpful human being I've encountered. He not only managed to find a copy of that certificate but also gave me lots of helpful information about the solar panels and the system! Thank you so much for your help, Marty!

Prior to contacting them I found a number of reviews on the Energy Savings Trust Renewables Installer Finder tool - all spoke highly of them. After my initial contact via email I was contacted by Marty who took time to understand my requirements and propose options. I was impressed with his knowledge of solar & battery solutions and how they would be used in my case. He was the only supplier who mapped out my roof space to determine the level of sunlight that would hit the panels (he described it as a irradiance map). I would have progressed with them as my preferred installer, however their primary battery product was the Tesla Power Wall which ended up being out of my budget. I would highly recommend them if you are considering a solar panel & battery system

Delighted with the installation and service of Solar and Wind Applications. The work carried out was extremely neat and to a high standard after recently getting a Tesla Powerwall installed. Marty has also been on hand to support with any questions I've had. Couldn't reccomend them highly enough.

Vastly knowledgeable in renewables and battery storage, had a system designed and installed flawlessly. Friendly team, very neat and highly recommended. Looking forward to having them back to install a Tesla Powerwall 2 soon as they are Tesla approved installer!
