We’ve recently had a solar installation carried out at The Freedom Centre by Solar PV Tech. This process has taken us a while due to factors outside of the control of Solar PV Tech and yet they couldn’t have been more helpful along the way. Nothing was too much trouble for them so in the lead up to the installation my experience was first class. I thought it couldn’t get better but my experience of the installation was amazing. Highly professional, prompt and very efficient. I give them 10/10 for everything. Very happy customer.

Solar PV Tech were recommended to us by two families in the village as being local, reliable and wallet friendly. From initial contact to completion took less than a month, with all the information we requested being provided to help us to make the decision, without any pressure whatsoever. The work was carried out expertly and at minimum inconvenience to us. The price was excellent too. We are already seeing the benefits of the system even with the weather we've been having over the 6 weeks since the installation was done in mid-December. Definitely one of the best decisions we've made and I would wholeheartedly recommend Solar PV Tech.

Having recently had Solar PV + battery AND an air source heat pump installed near Braunton i can highly recommend this local team. All made very simple and easy to navigate, from the initial visit we received a prompt and detailed quotation. With a great price and reputation we gave the go ahead and despite our hectic schedules within a few weeks it was done. The panel install team worked under threat of a brewing storm in some pretty rough weather to get the job done. Solar PV Tech installed our solar panels, inverter, battery and gateway last year. They also reinforced our roof structure, replaced the roofing material (which was well overdue) and dug in new conduits under the garden to take power and data cables prior to installing the solar panels. From the first survey through to the final installation the whole team were both professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they overcame any challenges with ease due to their extensive experience and can-do attitudes. Their scaffolding and digger contractors were also very friendly and professional too. They did a lovely job on the roof replacement first and the panels are very neat as well. Overall we are very pleased with the installation and have been generating plenty of green energy, even during the winter months. Our electricity bill is now massively reduced even after 7 months. I would highly recommend this local firm to anyone considering a green energy project for their home or business.

I used Solar PV tech and had solar panels fitted. They were local which I think is so much better than a national faceless company. I had great comms before during and after. They fitted it on the day they booked. Did a great job and I was pleased with the price. I am now saving money on electricity every day. I think in summer it will be free all the way. Thanks

A Quote was provided for air to air heat pump a system that…

A Quote was provided for a system that exceeded electrical supply for the building. According to the installation electrician the installation as quoted would constantly trip the circuit and would prevent use of any other electrical items in the building. On 26th June 2023. A single unit was installed, mounted on an external wall and a compromised location indoors. The Air to Air units could not be fitted in the previously agreed and measured sites , neither external nor internal . I was assured pre installation that the unit had a timer to set regular operating times however this is not the case. It has to be set up daily.aftet seeking a solution to this I eventually contacted Samsung engineers via the help desk who told me that this could be achieved with a hard wired controller to replace the remote control. I have just received November 15th a quote for at least £320 plus travel time at £47 per hour to make my installation work in the way it was sold to me as functioning. In other words to put right something that was mis-sold in the first place.

Cant fault SolarPVTech

Cant fault SolarPVTech. Been professional all the way through the process, from the survey and quote, no hard sell, worked out usage etc. When we did decide to go forward several months later the had everything arranged to go within a couple of weeks, everyone turned up when they needed to and got the job done. Couple of teething issues but all it took was a phone call and the engineers came round the next day to sort it (turned out it was my error anyway). Would happily recommend.
