Plumbcore LTD T/A PlumbCORE

I am very disappointed by my experience with Plumbcore. I have been without hot water and heating for almost 3 weeks now. 3 weeks ago, Plumbcore reception lady told me they would help me asap. Their plumber contacted me to say he would contact my boiler manufacturer to find a solution and get back to me asap. Nothing happened. However, they did remember to send an invoice for work carried out on the last visit (£90 for leak sealant in my central heating system). I just rang them to let them know I wasn't going to be a customer anymore and to cancel any jobs forthcoming. (I had booked their company to fix my leaky toilet 3 weeks ago- still no news about that either). I was told their plumber never contact boiler manufacturers. That I should have done that myself and contacted them back. Looks like I didn't understand the plumber on the phone. Really? How many of us contact Ford on behalf of their garages? Or Hotpoint, on behalf of the washing machine repairman? In those last 3 weeks there was no follow-up call, nothing, just an invoice which felt like an insult considering I am still without hot water and heat at the moment. I got half an apology from the lady at the reception and a laugh when I said goodbye. Needless to say I didn't wait after them and got help from another company. I just wished I didn't waste my time on this company.

I called 10 different places in York for a new boiler quote, 4 never called back, 2 couldn't send anyone until Monday and 4 came out on that day on a Friday. Plumbcore sent someone within an hour, were the easiest to get in touch with, friendliest on the phone and most professional of all 4. They were also the only company that followed through on getting a quote to me that day and really understood the urgency of getting a new boiler fitted in freezing weather, which I greatly appreciate.

Plumbcore have just installed new bathroom units, WC and bidet. They were excellent, Andy their fitter arrived exactly on time and cleared everything up when he had completed the job. Excellent service.
