I recently had Glec Group install a Zappi EV charger at my home and I honestly couldn’t fault the experience. What really stood out was the speed from start to finish. From first getting in touch, to receiving the quote, to the actual installation, everything was sorted within 24 hours, which is seriously impressive. Dave was brilliant at getting everything organised quickly and clearly. Communication throughout was excellent. The team were friendly, approachable and professional, and the workmanship was top notch. Wayne, who carried out the installation, did a fantastic job and clearly takes pride in his work. On top of that, the pricing was very competitive, and they were more than happy to offer extra help afterwards to make sure everything was set up correctly and working as it should. A genuinely great experience all round. I would happily recommend Glec Group to anyone looking for an EV charger installation.

They gave clear information with no pressure, handled the survey efficiently, and the installation was done to a high standard with zero mess. Fantastic experience. GLEC Solar’s team were helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable from start to finish. The install was quick, clean, and stress-free. What really impressed me was their ongoing support — they even followed up to make sure everything was running smoothly. Not your usual workmen, cleaned up after themselves, on time and what really impressed me they did a full days work, arrived at 8am and stayed till 5pm, a full days work even if I do say so. Top lads all of them. Highly recommended.

Excellent all-around experience!

I don't often leave reviews, but felt compelled to do so in GLECs case. Simply put, our solar journey with GLEC was as close to stress-free as i think one could hope for. Initially quite daunted by the thought of this whole process - this being quite a large purchase for us. Couple that to us not being particularly tech savy, and hearing all the horror stories about fly-by-night installers, you can imagine our apprehension going in. Well, I have to say that Dave and his team made the whole process plain-sailing from the off. From our very first contact, we found Natalie on the phone to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We opted for an initial remote survey and received a couple of system recommendations, which Dave was very thorough in talking us through. We compared GLEC against several other companies including local and national outfits, with GLECs offering being the best fit for our particular circumstances (complex roof with many slopes) and also best on price. GLEC were polite, with a no pressure approach, and had a patient willingness to answer our many questions about the equipment and the installation process- and I must say, their product knowledge was excellent. Once we had accepted the estimate price and paid the deposit, we arranged an on-site survey. Dave came to us & helped us decide upon where the equipment would be best installed, whilst laying out exactly how the installation would proceed. Prior to install we were a little concerned about the logistics of everything as we have limited access to and around our property. Again, they were excellent in walking us through the whole job, and taking note of, and planning around any issues we had. It's fair to say that install day came and went without issue, even the scaffolders were friendly, polite and neat and tidy. Dave mentioned that they only use the one scaffolding firm as they've found their service to be second-to-none. I think i'm right in saying that i got to speak to all of the GLEC guys on install day. (Appologies if thats not the case, guys) Graham (the perfectionist) on the roof, is keen to maintain his record of never being called back to a job in all his years of service. We really couldn't pick out a single issue on the roof, the all-black panels look amazing. Then there was Wayne on electrics. My partner is quite particular when it comes to tradesmen in the house, and I have to say they even passed this test. Wayne was extremely polite and respectful as regards keeping his work areas neat and tidy and managing working around the comings and goings of our busy house. At the end of the install it was like they'd never been there. At our request, they were even able to accomodate removing the scaffolding the same day, as we had guests coming to the house the following day. Well... we're around two weeks out from install day now and the system has worked beautifully. Dave called for a final sign off this week, to ensure we fully understand the operation of the system, and to do a health check. I must say that knowing these guys are local, and permanently connected to our system is very reassuring. I cant think any other product that includes whole-life support thrown into the deal. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GLEC Solar to anyone.
