I’ve been so pleased we went with Fresh Solar. Initially it was the longer warranties and the way Steve answered my questions, that made me go with Fresh Solar. As I moved through the process I realised what a professional team I had chosen. The fitters Tom and Tom, and Electrical Engineer Craig arrived promptly in Fresh Solar vans each day and got straight to work after taking me through the plan and cable routing options. The job they did was just perfect and the result was really tidy and looks great. Even though I asked lots of questions they patiently took me through the answers with detailed explanations. From the admin side Kelsey, was totally on the case, even answering my emails and submitting my DNO application on a Saturday. As a result my DNO was approved less than week after commissioning. Amazing! . Thank you so much Kelsey and the whole Fresh Solar team. I could not recommend you guys enough.

This was a completely stress-free experience, and I am thrilled with my new solar panels and battery storage system. Leo was incredibly knowledgeable and spent the time to design a system that was perfectly tailored to my home and energy usage. There was absolutely no hard sell, just clear, competitive pricing and a full explanation of the equipment (panels, inverter and Fox batteries) The installation team, led by Chris and Dal was phenomenal. They arrived exactly on time, were professional, polite, and worked incredibly efficiently. The system was fully commissioned and explained to me in detail, including how to use the monitoring app. I would highly recommend Fresh Electrical Solution to anyone considering solar and battery storage. They deliver a truly 5-star service from start to finish.

We had an excellent experience with Fresh Solar from start to finish. Every stage—right from the first contact through planning and installation—was clear, well-communicated, and genuinely reassuring. On installation day, the team arrived on time, were polite and respectful, and carried out the work to a high standard. The cabling is tidy, and the battery and inverter were installed exactly where I wanted them. Around two weeks later, we received our certificates by email, exactly as they’d advised in advance. I wrote the below review about my experience with Fresh on 17/11/25, but most of their reviews seem to have been deleted since: Fresh Electrical installed my solar panels in July. There are no issues with the panels, however, scaffolding was left outside of my house for over 7 weeks. The contract stated that it was only supposed to be up for up to 2 weeks. During this time, random people off the street continually used the scaffolding as a climbing frame, climbing up onto the roof of my house. I told Fresh Electrical about this several times, and each of those times, they lied by saying that somebody was going to come and collect the scaffolding (nobody showed up on any of the occasions that they claimed). I tried to reach their 'Complaints manager' multiple times, however he was never available, and never called me back (if he even exists) Avoid the stress and go with another installer. I have no doubt they'll reply to this review trying to point out that they subcontract their scaffolding. However, their chosen contractors ultimately left me to endure the stress of random people climbing onto my roof Additionally, I received an email after my installation offering a £10 Amazon voucher if I left a positive Trustpilot review. Subsequently, you can't trust the reviews that you read about this company

Mixed experience. The Good: Ravi in sales and the installers were excellent and professional. The Bad: Communication is non-existent; I had to chase the company for every update. Additionally, their scaffolding sub-contractor left equipment on my drive for over a month, failing to meet several promised deadlines for removal. I’m happy with the solar, but the process was unnecessarily stressful.

Booking installation date and cancellation

I recently received a fresh solar recommendation from Costco, who I always trust. Because I already had Give Energy batteries, I contacted this company for two Give Energy all-in-one batteries. They gave me a quote, and I paid the deposit. The installation was booked for 9th December. However, after weeks of waiting, I suddenly received a full refund and an email from Jack saying: “The necessary software commissioning and integration processes are outside the scope of work our engineers are currently comfortable taking on, as they involve a high risk of future recurring service issues and necessary revisits.” There was no phone call, no explanation, and no courtesy. When I called them after receiving the refund, they stopped answering the phone and only sent an email cancelling everything. This was extremely disappointing, especially for a £10,500 job where trust and communication are so important. It is sad that after taking the deposit and giving installation dates, the company cancelled without any proper decency. It feels like they were trying to push me towards Chinese batteries instead of supporting Give Energy, which is a trusted British-made company. My time was wasted, and the service was very poor. Great experience

Chris, Matt and Dan did a great job installing our system. They were prompt, reliable and friendly, and when a glitch arose because of the design of our old house, they bent over backwards to sort it out. Excellent.
