We used Smart Homes two and a half years ago to install our solar and they did an excellent, very tidy job which has been working very well ever since. We recently needed an electric vehicle charger added and they were able to supply and fit quickly and once again have done a very nice and extremely tidy job which is working well. Both times the installation was fully explained and all the necessary phone apps set up. Their installers are friendly, efficient, tidy and helpful and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Just had a Sigenergy Domestic Battery system fitted by Jack and Tom from Smarthomes. Great job it looks smart and has reduced my running costs considerably from day 1. I bought electricity for 8.5 p last night and have run the house off the batteries all day today.

Tom and the team were so efficient at putting up our solar panels. Over a week span working with our roofers got them up, installed the battery and electric system in the garage and showed us how to use the app. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend. Thanks guys.

From first enquiring about solar and our options regarding maximising the power/batteries etc, the team were excellent. There is no pressure at all and they even advised against extra panels as it would not give a benefit, other companies would sell you anything to increase the prices but Smart Homes don't. The work they did was outstanding and very considered in terms of dust generation and mess (hardly any mess at all but they asked if we could move our washing in just in case of any dust). The explanations and walkthrough about the system with the team once installed was again well considered. The communication either via phone or email is fast and they are happy to talk about anything to ensure your happy with your system. The installation team themselves are great, polite, helpful, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a solar system.

This company was introduced to us by friends in October. Tom Mastin, the professionalism and communications impressed from the start. After a few months of pause and mulling options we were being drawn to a Tesla Powerwall 2 PV solution and were disappointed that Smart Homes Electrical didn't offer that any more. Never mind we did have another reputable and local company in tow. Imagine our delight when a chance contact in mid March revealed that SHE had resumed fitting Tesla batteries. Tom visited on 18th March and we ended up with a quote for the 14 panels, Tesla Powerwall, EV charger plus micro inverters which optimise panel performance across the East and West roofs wonderfully and which we had not previously heard. Oh, and this was a better quote with a good saving too. The work was booked in for April 2nd and 3rd. Ben and team were knowledgeable, effective and totally tuned in with our needs By 4th our bird netting fitter has been too, Ben had returned to complete commissioning and we were up and running. SHE admin and support from Will and Amanda was equally good. Highly recommended for quality, service, sound advice, professionalism, reliability and value for money.
