Super job. Thank you. Thoroughly recommended. I contacted Igloo after recommendation from colleagues and was not disappointed. They have done a great job. The installation team were with us for two and a bit days. Communication was great, they did an expert job, and left everything clean and tidy each day and through to the final result. We now have solar panels + battery storage and it is very satisfying to see how much of our energy is now from the solar panels, or time-shifted to take the cheapest electricity from the grid overnight and use later during the peak times of the day. Thank you very much to the whole team at Igloo.

We were very pleased with the whole process of solar + battery installation through Igloo Environmental. I chose to contact Igloo based on recommendations from colleagues. Igloo responded promptly, gave good insights & advice, and did a great installation. We had tried a few years ago to have solar panels installed, but our roof is a bit complicated with dormers, veluxes and vents, so another company said it would be difficult/limited and probably not worth doing. I was still keen to do this when we could, and revisited the possibility after higher energy prices. Thankfully Igloo could see exactly how it could be done, did it nicely, so we now have a successful solution. The installation team were with us for two and a bit days and did a super job. The work was well done. Communication was great. Everything was clean and tidy after each day and with the final result. We are delighted with the installed system. It is doing exactly what we wanted and it is very satisfying to see how much our house energy is now from our own solar generation and how we can time-shift to take lowest cost electricity from the grid to battery overnight and use later during peak times during the day. Thank you very much to the whole team at Igloo. I am happy to thoroughly recommend them.

I would thoroughly recommend Igloo Environmental to anyone considering installing a PV system. All communication was very professional, from initial contact to final hand over. There was no hard sell, just a system designed on the basis of a thorough survey and customer needs. The installation team was excellent; their skill and workmanship could not be faulted. Everything was up and running as promised, with the minimum of fuss and I have a system that is operating better than anticipated.

Very Unprofessional Company

Not sure if anyone has tried Igloo Environmental Ltd re solar panels? I enquired with them and they seemed helpful at first but when I asked some questions they were suddenly not interested! Perhaps they don’t like customers who ask questions! 🤔 After paying for survey, when I provided this firm with a legitimate list of questions, they stated that they would not proceed with survey because they cannot provide my preferred panels. Despite my responding that not having my preferred panels would not be a problem, they said they had decided not to proceed with survey. All correspondence leading to this review has been kept.

Warren and team did a great job designing a PV and battery solution for us on an old property that had been extended a few times and has several roof surfaces. With the ongoing challenges of supply chain issues we had a few changes that needed to be implemented but these were handled swiftly, within budget and the system is working exactly to specification. After the install the team were remotely monitoring the system, identified an problem and were back to solve the problem the next day. The EV Charger was installed a couple of weeks later and needed an extensive cable run which was installed without drama, then additional CT clamps were fitted a couple of days later to stop the charger draining the battery. All throughout the process the team were professional, polite and the work is all neat and tidy. The system has been running efficiently and has been stable since completion and after a little time getting to know the system and make a few configuration changes to suit our needs I couldn't be happier. So much so that we're now considering expanding the battery storage to double our capacity. Great team, and I highly recommend them.

Out of 3 quotes for solar panels, Igloo Environmental were the company we decided to use. On my initial phone call I spoke to Warren the Director who was very professional and knew his subject, there was absolutely no hard sell, he was extremely happy to share his knowledge and passion about solar panels and batteries. A very comprehensive and competitive quote was sent and a start date agreed. There were 3 people working on the project Nick and Tom the electricians and Carl who installed the panels on the roof. All three were a very tight team working extremely well together as well as on their own. They were professional, polite, considerate, tidy, very well mannered and happy to answer any questions or concerns. At all times during the installation Warren kept me updated, he has been happy to answer any questions after the work was completed, The service provided was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending Igloo Environmental and give them 10/10 for an all round service.

Igloo Environmental installed our home solar panel and battery system. They were always helpful and very professional. The installation itself is proving at least as effective as they described, and after completing the work they were of great assistance in getting our system registered with our electricity supplier. Photovoltaic without fuss We were looking for a cost-effective photovoltaic installation. Igloo Environmental set themselves apart from other prospective suppliers... the first thing is that they turned up for a site survey (some other suppliers did not even bother with that). The quotation was received promptly, was thorough and easy to understand. Questions we had were answered straight away, and there was no hard sell whatsoever. When it came to installation, this was carried out by efficient, polite and considerate people. Although we are in the bleakest months of winter, the installation is already making a huge difference to net electricity consumption... this will only improve when the sunshine arrives. Igloo Environmental have been a pleasure to do business with; we would not hesitate to recommend them (indeed, already have done so).

Igloo explained our solar panel and battery system options well and produced the most competitive and detailed quote. The system was installed and commissioned with the same friendly professional service we had right through the process. Recommended.

Igloo installed a full domestic solar energy system for me about one year ago. It included 20 solar panels, inverter and a smart water heater. The work was carried out in good time, and I was totally satisfied with Warren and the team from Igloo. There was one initial problem with the smart water heater, in that the immersion thermostat was not working. It was quickly replaced, and hot water was quickly being heated by the system. A few days later the new thermostat failed and again it was replaced. Warren came back within a few days of me reporting the issue. We think it was just a poorly made thermostat as we’ve not had any further problems. So great customer service from Warren. To complete the system, in the last month, Igloo added a battery and added a few more solar panels to maximise production. I was completely happy to go back to Igloo based on my first experience. For the extra panels, all the scaffolding was installed and removed exactly as agreed within a very tight timeline. The panels were fitted on the day that was scheduled, however, there was an issue with the fitting of one panel in that it could not be safely installed. The cost was removed from the invoice and the panel was taken away without an issue. The battery was fitted a few weeks later once DNO approval was given. It took a day and half and was completed without any issues. I would recommend Warren/Igloo for anyone out there looking to the have all or some of the above installed at their home.

Warren and his team provided exemplary service both in recommending the most appropriate solar system but also in the installation itself. The team worked around us as a business and it really was a pleasure to have them on site.

We recommend Igloo Environmental Ltd very strongly as Mr Warren Brown saved us unnecessarily buying a new inverter which a scam Company had told us we needed. We are extremely grateful for his honest advice and will certainly use his company for any work we need in the future.

I am very glad i chose Igloo to install my solar panels. The project was a bit outside the box but they desinged and installed the system without a glitch. I appreciated their honesty and openess in all the quotes, advised i could run the cables etc to keep labour costs down. Recomended!
