The team that came to install the solar panels and inverter were absolutely brilliant - a total pleasure to have around. They worked hard, were great at coming up with solutions, were excellent at communicating what they were doing, were proactive about everything and worked to a really high standard. When I decided to have a solar install and after doing my research into installers RW Bell have been a pleasure to work with. From the first time I walked into their showroom in Inverness they have taken the time to engage with this project in an open and constructive manor. The initial visit to my home by an electrical engineer to assess the potential installation was professional and also took full consideration of my prefered routing suggestions for cabling. The installation team were highly professional and discrete, engaging with me during the process to ensure a smooth install. Post installation the minor snagging to be expected with such a project was handled again with professionalism and speed. I am delighted with my solar installation and the high quality of the installation. I can strongly recommend RW Bell for your Solar installation!

Had solar panels and battery storage installed recently and I'm really happy with the whole process. The installers and electricians were great – friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. They listened to my suggestions and installed everything exactly how I wanted, no fuss at all. Everything was done neatly and on time. No complaints – just solid work and great service.

I can whole-heartrdly recommend RW Bell Green Energy. I have held off reviewing their service until I could provide comments on each part of our journey to install Solar Panels and home batteries. Initial contact was dealt with professionally with a site visit offered immediately. The person who visited was knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to my ideas and made great suggestions The quotation process was smooth. Numerous revisions to the system specification were dealt with speedily and accurately as I compared different manufacturers and panel orientations. They were happy to quote for panels not normally installed by them. Quotes were made available via OpenSolar sowas easy to compare like-for-like systems being quoted by other companies. Placing the order was smooth with a 25% deposit made by Credit Card when accepting the quote. Upon installation, a further payment was made by Bank Transfer, 10% was withheld until a small issue was resolved - see below. The company kept me updated on the G99 application made to the DNO. I was offered an install date within 3 weeks of the approval coming. I had a pre-installation visit from the same staff member who made the first site visit. Again, he understood my requirements and ensured they were passed on to the Installers. The installation team was excellent. It was very tidy and accommodating my interest in the installation. They were nice guys to have around for the 5 days they were on site. At the end of the installation, they notified me that one of the panels was marked, and a replacement was being organised already. I had not even noticed the defect. Post-installation support has been excellent. They had trouble sourcing the replacement panel from the manufacturer, but I was kept informed. When available, this was quickly installed. The MCS Certificate was issued the day after the initial install was completed along with comprehensive documentation. The DNO G99 commissioning approval took over 3 weeks to be received, but again I was kept informed as RWBell actively chased this on my behalf. Once DNO approval for Export was received, they helped resolve an issue with a potential shortfall in expected generation. With an app settings change and a review of diagnostic data over a number of days, this issue was resolved. A further 3 weeks then ensued when waiting for Octopus and the DNO to get their acts together. I am now receiving Export credits to my energy account. The RWBel team has been friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. You are not just a Sales Lead to be sold an “Off the Shelf” solution installed by subcontractors. Time was taken to arrive at the “right” solution with all staff taking pride in their work, whether it be design, office, or installer. I would not hesitate to use this company again for our home battery and EV future needs. Well Done RWBell.

Couldn't recommend highly enough. My initial enquiry was over a year ago, but when called for updated quote, they didn't do the usual for companies and increase the quote, they revised in-line with product costs and passed that saving back to me. From acceptance, the team were on-site within 2 weeks and the service provided by the team was outstanding. Respected my home and genuinely wouldn't know they had been here at all by the time they were finished. The office staff have also been great and on hand to ensure that all applications are being processed to ensure that once i am ready to export, i am able. Already seeing to difference with my battery storage and look forward to getting full use of the system once the sunny days arrive.
