⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Service from GB Solar! From start to finish, my experience with GB Solar has been nothing short of exceptional. The team recently installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 and a myenergi car charger at my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of service I received. A special mention must go to Steve, the Sales Manager, whose expert advice and clear guidance made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to explain all the options, answered every question with patience, and helped me choose the perfect setup for my home. Steph, the Customer Accounts Manager, was equally fantastic — every enquiry I had was dealt with quickly, efficiently, and with a friendly touch. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company where communication is this good! And finally, a huge shout-out to Josh, who carried out the installation. His workmanship was first-class, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was installed perfectly and working flawlessly. Even after the job was completed, Josh provided excellent aftercare and support, which really shows how much GB Solar values their customers. I honestly can’t recommend GB Solar enough — they’re professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about providing top-quality service. I was very pleased with the whole process and my dealings with every member of the team from GB Solar. Gareth answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. The installation team were also very professional during the day of installation. They worked quietly and efficiently, completing the work by late afternoon. From the moment Steve came to do the survey I felt confident that I’d chosen the right company. Everyone was very knowledgable and the install was done to a very high standard. I’m very happy with everything and it’s been running smoothly for the past 4 weeks. A few of the panels were damaged in transit and they were swapped without any quibble straight away. I would definitely recommend using them, they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for which is attention to detail and a tidy install.

My initial contact with GB Solar was with Steve, the Sales Manager, after completing an independent online enquiry about solar panel installers in my area. He introduced GB Solar, their ethos and what they were able to provide. I immediately felt at ease with his approach, listening to my questions, suggesting possible solutions and providing me with a quote within a couple of hours. He left it with me and to call should I have any questions. Having decided to go with GB Solar Steve was happy to prepare several designs until we’d reached the right fit for our circumstances, including late changes and the addition of panels on the north facing part of our roof and an Eddi. Once agreed in principal, Steve came over to survey our property. After more questions he arranged for Dan to come over and agree where the panels could be positioned. This resulted in some layout changes, but I was very happy with the outcome. When Sam, George and Dave arrived on day one of the installation they walked me through the plans, confirming where I’d like the various components locating and making suggestions to improve the overall aesthetics. They really worked well as a team, extremely professional and the pride they take in their work is a credit to them and GB Solar. On completion Sam took me through the Powerwall and myenergi apps. I have since been in contact with Josh who has taken time to go through the finer points of the Powerwall app. He recommended one of Octopus’ Smart tariffs and guided me through how to set it up. I doubt this will be the last time I’ll be in touch with Josh, but know that support is always on hand, and encouraged. The system has not been in a week, it has worked flawlessly, surprising me with the amount of energy produced so far. I look forward to dealing with the team at GB Solar in the future. The team at GB Solar has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of investing in a solar and/or a battery solution.

An excellent experience with GB Solar following our recent solar installation. From start to finish they have been extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable…..and continue to be so in terms of post installation support. Steve and Josh patiently answered all my initial questions and concerns. Daniel, Sam and team were brilliant in doing the installation. Really neat and tidy work. Nothing was ever made to feel like a problem, which was very good for me as, living in an old house with all its quirks, I’d been quite nervous about it beforehand. What’s been very reassuring is that I still continue to feel supported by Gareth, Steph and the team even though the work is completed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to undertake a similar project!

From the first contact everything was explained clearly and simply, questions answered clearly. The work was done promptly as promised and all willing to go the extra mile to make sure all was well. Everyone always at the end of the phone if needed. Couldn’t ask for more.

Really impressed with GB Solar

Really impressed with GB Solar. I had 9 solar panels, a battery and an EV charger installed. The electricians and roofers were really professional and had completed the work in two days. It is a really well run business who have a great eye for detail and discuss with you as to where you want the installation going. The customer service is fantastic and the team get back to you with queries promptly and the sales team aren’t pushy like a lot of other solar companies I had received quotes from. I can’t recommend this company enough.

GB Solar for Tesla power wall 3 and Zappi

I have recently had GB Solar for the installation of a Tesla solar and battery storage system. Along with a Zappi car charger. All this has been organised by Steve Brown who from start to finish has been excellent to deal with. There has been NO hard sell or pressure in any way. Steve made multiple visits suggesting different ideas to me make the most out of the system. Ultimately having more Panels on the main roof which made it cost effective. On every visit Steve was on time and I feel he had my best interests at heart. We had an issue with the scaffolding company. Two bars were banging together in the wind. One phone call to Steve and a guy came out and sorted it very quickly. The guys who fitted the system were polite and friendly, passing on their knowledge and it was never to much trouble to ask a question or two or three etc. They worked through pretty atrocious weather without a complaint. I am now considering a third additional Tesla battery ( it’s the most you can have) even though Steve doesn’t think it necessary. I also feel that there is backup if you have questions or concerns after everything has been fitted. Now this is up and working I am updating my heating system and are using Warm GB to have an air source heat pump fitted. To be continued.

have had panels and battery for over year contacted to report pigeon netting around panels had come off due to snow, two lads were sent out same day, repaired holding clips brilliant staff very officiant service second to none. thank you all at GB solar
