Heliowatt – Solar Experts We recently commissioned Heliowatt to install solar panels, plus inverter, battery and electric vehicle charger at our house. We chose Heliowatt for the work because of the care that they took in quoting. They carried out a detailed site visit and discussed our expectations in some detail before making their recommendations. They suggested panels and other items that we found to have received very good reviews and were covered by long guarantees. The prices quoted were in line with those generally advertised. Our house is old and we wanted “in roof” panels, so this was not the simplest job. But that was all taken into account. We found it very helpful that Heliowatt arranged for the scaffolding and roofing work as part of the job, meaning that they project-managed the whole installation. Everyone turned up when they said they would. The scaffolders were efficient, the roofers did a neat job and both were willing to discuss any details. The Heliowatt team carried out the complex installation is a very professional way, keeping the job tidy, the roof weather- proofed at all times and the wiring neat. Everything was thoroughly tested and explained. Doug and Martin are courteous, friendly and willing to discuss and explain at every step. Everyone finished on time. MCS certification provides an additional reassurance. We would not hesitate to recommend Heliowatt to anyone thinking about a solar installation and wanting good service. We had our solar panels and battery storage installed by Heliowatt. Prior to installation they did a through survey on the roof after which they suggested a configuration for the panels that we had not considered but will definitely give us the best pay back. I would definitely recommend them without hesitation to others. They were a pleasure to deal with. Both Doug and Martin were very tidy workers, were respectful of our property and have completed a very neat installation that we are really pleased with. The Certification arrived to us promptly within a couple of days after installation. Martin installed our EV charger and that also was very neatly installed. They are both fastidious in their workmanship even down to the minor details that left us feeling reassured that the installation had been finished to a very high standard. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.
