Awful Company to use! While working in my home I found cigarette butts and packaging hidden under my floorboards — they clearly hoped I wouldn't notice. I also found cigarette papers on my windowsills, confirming they were smoking inside my house throughout the job. They cut two unnecessary holes in my wet room floor instead of using the existing ones, rendering the entire room useless.The main pipe to the boiler was fitted to the hallway wall instead of under the stairs, making the room awful. Remove the copper pipes and copper water, which belonged to me off my property then lying to my father about it being stolen by the neighbours - who I have had no problem with since owning my house. Finally to top it all off when testing the work they carried out, they were smoking while testing gas. If they were a desent company they would know the first thing you do around gas is NOT to have any flameable items. Have tried to reach out muiltple times to them to sort the situration out however it has been 3 months and I'm still yet to hear anything back from them!!

I had a really bad experience with Heatforce. They charge more or less the same as other solar companies but everything is sub contracted so everything is disjointed. They will tell you the job will take 2 days but it will take a minimum of 2-3 weeks. Also the scaffolding company they sub contract have some real chavy and rough kids who make lots of mess and noise and do not respect your house. End of the day the job got done but it was a horrible experience. Totally unprofessional and I had to help lift 100kg batteries off the truck because the workers didnt turn up when they said they would. When it came to taking down the scaffolding it was 4 times they rescheduled. Paid 19k for my system and honestly was such a stressful experience.

Very slow to get things going after the…

Very slow to get things going after the deposit was paid, with no communication. Also no information received up to now (4 days post installation) so, for example, cannot yet register with electricity supplier to get paid for energy generated. Otherwise excellent.

It pays to buy local

Had boiler issues for some time was recommended to go to British Gas who stated boiler was not repairable They gave quote HEATFORCE recommended by friend Quote for same boiler with 10 year warranty instead of 5 year with British Gas Installation was completed on time plumbers were very helpful and professional did Would highly recommend this company also £1500 below British Gas quote

I have bad experience with this company first of that it’s no communication with people, send people to the job and he sell u somethings and when coming home fit you different thinks this mean if u don’t have knowledge u pay for something which u don’t have it, when it’s coming problem about warranty people try to escalate the situation and u need to try to call every day to know the update and all the time pass to the manufacturer which it’s on meetings…..I don’t trust this company and I’m feel bad because I choose this …I don’t recommend anybody what happened to me and I’m still waiting nearly 10days till now nobody come to check what it’s wrong ….

I just rang Heatforce (November 7) as my central heating has a leak and I needed an emergency plumber. I was told that no one could come and have a look until the new year! I was told that as I had not used heatforce since 2020 and I was not on their preferred customer programme then they wouldn’t come! They obviously don’t want new customers.

Quick response once the system design was agreed Panels, inverter and battery were fitted in a day. The installation team were very efficient, professional and tidy Avery neat installation Could not fault them Heatforce were very responsive to any of my enquiries

Heatforce kept me updated throughout the process from 1st survey through to installation. The installers did a very neat job, were helpful and polite. The installation was completed in 1 day with a minimum of fuss.

Not a professional installation. Issues throughout the installation process

We reviewed three companies to provide our solar panels. Heatforce came out just above the other two overall. The sales process was smooth and the documentation provided was very helpful, with plenty of diagrams and calculations. From there things started to unravel. The scaffolders arrived unannounced a week earlier than expected. That wasn't a problem really, just a bit inconvenient. They also broke some roof tiles (which were later replaced by them) The installers for the panels and battery arrived, as did the equipment to install them. But the incorrect fixings had been sent so the panels couldn't be fitted until two days later. The fitters determined that they could not fit the number of panels that Heatforce had designed, despite the Heatforce architect conducting an onsite survey. The new design now made it less compelling compared to the other companies, so Heatforce had to decide whether to uninstall the equipment, or change the design to meet the specification - which they did. Meanwhile the panels that were installed were turned on and had failed by the next morning prompting a call-out. The remaining panels were installed a week later, and the system is functioning as planned. There was a considerable amount of mess left behind - boxes, plastic ties, cable clips, cigarette buts, plastic bags etc which was really not professional. Communications through Sophie though was generally good, when prompted. If you use Heatforce they will try your patience.

Just had our solar panels installed by Heatforce, I can't praise them enough, every trade that came to our property, scaffolders, electricians and installers were all very professional, treated us and our property with respect and left a neat and tidy job. A courtesy call from Sophie to make sure everything was ok on completion was the finishing touch. Thanks everyone, will highly recommend.

We got a new boiler from Heatforce and took out their cover for circa £20 a month. What a waste of time. Periodically, our hot water goes and Heatforce insist its the boiler makers fault. The boiler maker comes out and says the issue is to do with the water and radiators that Heatforce fitted. We have to pay to get our hot water fixed EVERY YEAR.. we have two kids and can't do without hot water but Heatfirce will not budge. Do not use.

Please do not use this company. We got a boiler fitted a few years back and keep losing our hot water. Heatforce, despite me paying them circa £20 a month for maintenance etc insist its not their problem but the boiler manufacturer. The boiler manufacturer say its a issue with the radiators and water which Heatforce fitted. Every time it happens, regular as clockwork, we have to pay the boiler manufacturer to come out and sort our hot water. Heatforce left us with no hot water at Xnas once as they refused to come out and we had to get someone out on Xmas Eve. What am I paying for every month? A yearly check that was cancelled, by them, last year 3 times?????? They are very unprofessional and do not care for their customers. Leaving a family with kids with no hot water? So much for the caring family business they claim to be. Its happened again today but we know they will tell us not their issue and we will need to fork out another £140 to get the boiler manufacturer out. They hide under manufacturer's 10 year guarantee.

We had a full Solar system implemented and the experience was completely hassle free. Hywel installed the Panels and Dallas did the electrical work. Both super friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating to all of our questions. We got a great price and are happy to say we are seeing results immediately in regards to our reliance on the grid. Would 100% recommend Heatforce. Communication has been fantastic, especially with Dallas who goes out of his way to help out in any way he can. Edit - changing to 3 star after the system failed and it took them over 3 months to get someone to fix it.

Heatforce were very helpful, and extremely quick in responding to any query... Sophie was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble, and Steve and the team were excellent, and installed my panels in one day...

Reece (All Pipes) Installed our Heat Pump, Fantastic. Professional, Clean, Tidy. Highly Recommend. They also fitted Solar Panels, great. Getting hold of the Project Managers etc was pretty awkward to be honest, but with a bit of persistence everything was sorted on that side

The Heatforce installers were…

The Heatforce installers were professional, friendly and very efficient. They worked well as a team. Our solar panels, EV charger and battery were fitted quickly and with a minimum of disruption. We were informed of their plans at every step of the installation and our property was left clean and tidy. The scaffolding team were also professional and efficient.

Excellent if it all goes smoothly but…

Excellent if it all goes smoothly but terrible if they have any issues. Unfortunately our experience has been the latter. It is over 6 months ago that our solar panels were installed and immediately it was obvious only half of the panels were working. Despite our repeated requests to resolve the issue we are still being asked to wait. We are greatly inconvenienced by the scaffolding that has been left standing for months and we also recently discovered that a pile of rubbish (fixtures for the panels) had been left in the gutters. Looking at other complaints on the review, I am afraid unless the company does something to improve their competence to address issues they encounter, it will cost them their reputation. I would not be recommending this company unless your work is the most basic and straightforward that cannot go wrong (at least until they improve their problem resolution). Even then I would advise you to ask them to tidy up afterwards. We are left with no option but to make a formal complaint and request a compensation/refund. Disappointing and frustrating, indeed.

Came out to service my boiler. After they left .boiler leaking and over filled.... contacted engineers. Will be out in 45min . Then called. Van broke down will be there after 2 tomorrow. Just called office to confirm. No record of this ...can't call until sometime tomorrow.... damaged my carpets and broken my comby.......

Very impressed with the installing of my heatpump/cylinder/rads in Brean. Gareth, Mitch and Josh, 3 very nice hard working, efficient and tidy team. Thank you for making a hectic time as smooth as you did.

British old fashioned workmanship is not dead I would like to record my appreciation for the work done by the Heatforce engineers in the installation of my heatpump/solar panels. the work was done to the highest standard consistant with customer consideration.Mess was kept to a minimum and we were kept informed at all stages of the work in progress.If i had to single out anyone for an attaboy it would be Gareth Walters in plumbing and Rhys for the electrics etc. thanks lads Taffy Thomas 30/04/25

Gareth Walters and his team installed a heat pump and radiators on our house last week. They were excellent. Efficient, very hard working, so pleasant to deal with, tidy and reliable. I had two small queries this week and Gareth responded very promptly and help fully. I strongly recommend them. Absolutely 5 star service.

We received a competitive quote from heatforce for installing solar panels. We wanted them to do the work and needed a design from them to support our planning application (ground mount). After 4 weeks of promises they have failed to deliver the design and have now withdrawn their proposal putting our planning application at risk. Not impressed. And we won't award them the air source heat pump contract either.

Just had solar panels installed. Scaffolders arrived and put up quick & efficient - we have a non standard property, and pleasant chaps all round,. Next day installers arrived and again quick & efficient, well practiced, the electrics guy knew his stuff. Both sets of folks tidied up after themselves. Job well done from start to finish

LANDLORDS beware if use Heatforce.

They forced a landlord to take a vulnerable tenant to court for a cooker that the tenant owned to force them too have it tested/inspected despite only landlords in law being legally being obliged to do so for their own supplied appliances. There was no suspicion the cooker was unsafe - they had not even set eyes on it - they demanded the landlord force the tenant to have it inspected anyway - tenant rightly said mine not landlords so its a no from me. The council ( the landlord) then spent an estimated £20,000 plus of tax payers money and three years pursing a cooker that the landlord has no legal duty to! So landlords beware - make sure you have a big cheque book if you use Heatforce - ow the tenant tried to take their life as they were ordered to pay £2,340 cost. Heatforce paid not one penny - the tax payer and the tenant paid! And - after tenant still refused to give them their cooker - the next thing that happened was that the court was asked to send them to prison for refusing allow or to turn on their own cooker. Warped does not come close - beware of dealing with them!

Excellent Customer service

I have just had a new Worcester boiler installed with HeatForce excellent service from start to finish I would highly recommend this company all staff were excellent fitting my Boiler well done to HeatForce.

Unfortunately, I am forced to leave an average review concerning solar panel installation. It has been 18 days since installation and it seems impossible to get them to remove the scaffolding from the rear of my house. I've requested this a number of times but to no avail. Poor after sales service, poor comms. The result of this is not being able to have full access to our conservatory and also having to cancel further works to our house. Nightmare!

Not so great experience with Heatforce

Heatforce took over from a company ( thermal heating solutions) who had the contract for eco 4 airsource heat pump installation for those of us on low income ...i suspect this is partly why we got shoddy service .The grant funded installation has been a nightmare from the get-go ( theft by the sub contractors, rads glued to walls that ripped off plaster/ leaks through ceilings / freezer left turned off unnecesarily so loss of food / ashp breaking down 3 times in 3 years becasue they didnt clean the pipes etc) ..the owner of the original company became a director of Heatforce and so we got shifted over...The original installation had left us with a broken ASHP over xmas/newyear after 3 months, ,a house that couldn't warm beyond 16c , a hot water system that was dangerous to use and thus we had no running hot water for over a year etc...Heatforcce initially were responsive - we'd paid a private heating consultant to do a report on what our home actually needed to have as the original company had not had the expertise to integrate the ashp with a logburner and solar panel that heated the water..Heatforce used this report to guide their choices though sadly didn't read it enough to fit it in a way that gave us hot water capacity...also they re surveyed and discovered that the previous 2 surveys had under-specified radiators and so suggested we needed so many large radiators to make the ashp heat our old house sufficiently that we had to refuse and sign a waiver to accept a cooler house, as to fit them all would impact our space /how we live . Heatforce replaced the ashp with a larger one and fitted a complex water heating system...all of the engineers who came were lovely, yet none of them understood the system (by their own admission) and we were still left with no capacity to run a bath and with a solar water heating panel that didn't work anymore...Heatforce sent out several engineers who couldn't fix the problems - each said " ive never seen a system like this". After several missed half says of work with the p;roblems not being fixed, we specifically requested that they find an engineer that does understand an integrated system. Heatforce started to ignore emails for long periods and eventually said they had no responsibility to sort our system - they had fulfilled what they were obliged to do. We had the distinct feeling they and City Energy were ignoring our emails, after i went to CAB and started gathering the warranty info/handover info to challenge them legally. Its like they were waiting for the guarantee period to elapse in february 25.Wanting to spare ourselves the hassle of going to court ,we got in a local guy who immediately understood the system ( because he read the private report we'd paid for ) , fixed the hot water so we could run a bath and spotted the poor workmanship that had left us with leaky pipes to the solar water heating unit which is why it wasn't working and why we had perennially low pressure. We sent the invoice to City Energy ( grant allocating business) who ( slowly) got agreement from Heatforce and they have agreed to pay for the repairs ( despite having said they are not liable)...the whole business has been stressful, taken hours of work and missed earnings waiting in for numerous engineers who could not fix the lack of hot water pressure or solar panel.

Want to thank Shawn who came out to do our electrics for our solar panels. He’s a credit to the company and takes a lot of pride in the work he does. Very professional and wish him all the best :)

I can’t thank Gareth Walters and his team enough for the fantastic work they’ve carried out over the past two days. They were very professional, helpful and got the job done with no hassle it’s truly been a pleasure. I had an air source heat pump installed, new pipework throughout the property with fitted, new radiators and I can’t believe how hard they worked and got it all done so quickly!

Excellent customer service We have recently had solar panels installed by Dallas and he did an amazing job for us.He was hardworking, cheery and took personal responsibility to resolve any issues which arose. He also explained things clearly which proved very helpful. Jess in the office also provided excellent customer service. The system operates well and we are pleased Heatforce did the job!

Installation: 16 panels, 11.5kwh module battery and EV charger. 12/09/24 Team: Ryan (office), Shaun (electrician) and Joe (Roofer). Overall experience: Top tier What sold Heatforce over other installers was Ryan. Rather than just sell to me like other companies, Ryan was the only person to ask and listen to what was important to me. For me customer service and knowing who you are dealing with was my priority. Rather than being passed around sub contractors. This unfortunately was tested, as during the job outside factors had caused problems. Ryan not only owned the issue, but was proactive in resolving it. That is the value of trusted customer service. Joe arrived on time was polite and asked lots of questions to understand what I wanted from the job. He took me through everything and if he thought there was something that wasn't possible, he came up with alternatives. Not only was the work faultless, you would never know Joe was on site, he kept his work so clean. Shaun was probably the highlight of the job. He is extremely fussy and is constantly trying to improve his work. He was able to hide so much wiring and other materials, it borders on a "wireless" install. Anything that was visible was done in a way it looked like it was done when the property was built. He stayed late most nights to make sure everything was done to the highest level. The only minor criticism I had, was some of the office processes could be reviewed. It is minor but Heatforce are definitely a premium installer so this would round off that premium experience.

Recently had the pleasure of working with Heaforce for the installation of solar panels at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. No hard sell attitude and always at had to answer queries. Sales Director Dan visited me at home to check I was happy with my order and discuss my installation together with their Electrical supervisor. I spent a lot of time speaking to various installers up and down the country and it was reassuring to learn that Heatforce being a local company were the most honest and competitive quote I had so it was no brainer I chose them for my install. The customer service team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They answered all my questions and provided detailed information about the installation process and the benefits of solar energy, Ryan is exceptionally knowledgeable about the technical details and offers help throughout, a great chap to deal with. The installation team was punctual, courteous, and highly skilled. They completed the installation efficiently and ensured everything was working perfectly before they left. They also took the time to explain how the system works and how to monitor its performance. A special mention to Dallas Electrician, he was exceptionally professional, courteous and knowledgeable and took pride in his work, a true professional and gentleman! The quality of the installation is top-notch. The solar panels are neatly installed, and all the wiring is well-organized. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail. Since the installation, my solar panels have been performing exceptionally well. I’ve already noticed a significant reduction in my electricity bills, and it’s great to know that I’m contributing to a greener planet. I highly recommend Heatforce for anyone considering solar energy. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Great company! Really friendly, professional and quick service from the phone agents, initial engineer visit and installation guys. I had an old heating system that needed replacing and the whole job was done start to finish in less than 2 weeks. Everything was explained in detail, all the old components taken away and a very tidy installation of the new system. Would highly recommend these guys, they're also competitively priced.
