Extremely pleased with the install of solar and home battery storage by the DMH Electrical and Renewables team. Dan answered all questions on our first meeting so we could make an informed decision on our requirements. Install was carried out very professionally and I'm very pleased with the end result. The Sigenstor app is now running on AI mode and generating more returns than I expected so hopefully the pay off time will be reduced further. Can't recommend DMH Electricals enough. Update to this review, Dan has been back to install a ASHP which is now linked to my Sigenstor app. Once again very happy with Dan's work, very neat and very little disruption.

Fabulous experience dealing with Dan and Jay, which was refreshing! Very professional, enthusiastic and sincere in their approach to work, instilling great trust throughout. What with further renewable energy plans on the horizon, I won't be considering others when it comes to pulling the trigger.

DMH installed our SolarEdge PV system (24 optimised solar panels and 2 batteries with home backup) in September 2025. Our house has previously been extended so it has a mixture of roofs with various aspects and some low pitches plus shading from dormer windows etc, meaning there was a fair bit of work involved. It was their informative social media and YouTube content that initially led us to contact DMH particularly as we were keen to use a fairly local company. And from first meeting Dan during the house survey / quote stage, through to subsequently having the work carried out by him, Jay and Josh (the latter’s first job as the DMH apprentice - good to see a local company offering apprenticeships!), they continued to impress throughout the whole process, working very hard and obviously taking great pride in their work. The final product (from the in-garage batteries & inverter etc to the on-roof panels) has been finished to a high standard and looks very impressive. The use of Solar Skirt (bird proofing) on the panels at the front of the house was the ‘icing on the cake’ in terms of aesthetics. The solar / battery installation followed on from the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump system in July, also procured via DMH in partnership with Beale Heating Services. And again the work and commitment of Andy and his team from Beales was very impressive and is to be highly commended. The heat pump replaced an ageing, inefficient and increasingly unreliable gas combi-bolier. Having one company to lead on both the solar and heat pump aspects, in effect providing a blended solution, was a key benefit for us in moving towards a renewables package, with the twin goals of achieving a comfortable home and a good degree of energy security in the years ahead. It is early days for both systems but the signs are very positive. The heat pump provides plenty of hot water and comfortable heating on the recent cool late-summer evenings and mornings. Typically the weather turned wet and gloomy for the first two days after the SolarEdge system was commissioned but the solar generation was still pretty decent - even filling the batteries on day-2, which exceeded our expectations in that kind of weather. Writing this on the first sunny day since then the results are starting to look very, very good indeed. One of the most impressive aspects of working with DMH and Beales was from start to finish it felt more like a long-term partnership between us and them, rather than just a one-off commercial client / customer arrangement. Highly recommended.

Dan and Jay installed a 10 kWh Sigenstor battery and inverter in our garage. Job included digging a trench across the driveway and reconfiguring the wiring at the consumer unit to ‘hide’ my EV from the battery. Job done efficiently and neatly. Very knowledgable on renewables. Highly recommended.

Dan and Jason fitted my EV Charger, they were both super friendly. My garden needed digging up to facilitate but you wouldn’t know they’ve been and cleared all extra soil etc Dan even sorted my outside light for me while he was there. Highly recommend

18 Solar panels and 2 batteries fitted with minimal damage to the house considering the awkward location of the DB. Completed within 4 days. Dan kept us informed of progress and instructions on how it all works with a follow-up phone call.

Superb service from Dan following our initial contact regarding solar and home battery storage. He came and listened to our concerns and requirements and proposed a system which exceeded our initial ideas and at a cost which was better than we expected. The installation by Dan and Jason was efficient and completed exactly as planned, resulting in a system which we are really pleased with as can be seen in the photos. Absolutely thrilled with the service provided by DMH Electrical and Renewable! They recently completed a solar PV installation for me, along with a Tesla Powerwall 3 and a Hypervolt EV charger. What a cracking good business to deal with. Very clear precise information to accommodate my requirements with a suitable system which in this case is the Tesla Battery. Dan is a very easy fella to deal with and his knowledge of renewables is Fantastic. Both Dan and Jay are also good tidy and efficient installation engineers. They even removed all the packaging that came with the equipment. I can't fault DMH Electrical for their service. I will without doubt use them again.

DMH Electrical installed my solar panels and battery, and I had a fantastic experience. Initially booked with Octopus but they messed me around with continuous cancellations and the difference in service Dan and his team gave was night and day. The service was top-notch, with the Dan being incredibly informative and knowledgeable. The work was completed to an exceptionally high standard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results and already seeing the benefits. Had a Zappi 2 fitted today by Dan and Jay. They arrived promptly within 15 minutes of the agreed time and started work promptly. The job proved to be a bit more difficult than anticipated and ended up with Dan and Jay climbing under the floorboards to pull the cable through, they are very much like a married couple and constantly bouncing jokes off each other which made it an enjoyable environment whilst they were in the house. My wife was originally a sceptic on getting it fitted as she originally wanted it hidden away somewhere which wasn't going to be practical but in her words afterwards "It actually looks really smart". Thanks Dan & Jay.

Dan has completed multiple jobs on our house over the years to an extremely high standard. Most recently an in-roof solar system and battery storage complete with a water heater solar diverter. He is very knowledgeable in his field of work and is always happy to explain how things work.

Note that you may need to take some of the cardboard packing to the tip yourself.

From the first point of contact Dan was really helpful, providing insight on different EV Chargers and their benefits. On the day of installation Dan was on time, professional and efficient, didn't leave any mess or litter at our house and was really helpful with teaching us how our new charger works. Would absolutely recommend, and will be my first call for future electrical work.

Had DMH round to quote me for a new Zappi car charger. Quote was received within 24hrs and was very reasonable. Accepted and parts where ordered and fitted as soon as. Nice clean install. Couldn’t recommend enough. Top quality service!
