Had a serious issue with the conduct of their ventilation subcontractor which resulted in me needing to tell them to leave my house part way through the job. Put in a complaint to 0800 and I'm still waiting for their 'senior managers' response to that now almost 3 months later.

Hi, I’ve recently had a boiler fitted by 0800repair, I found the guys very good, and Faith Pallister kept me informed about much was very nice of her. A very good 5 star performance

Their sub contractors don't appear to be monitored so if they don't show up they don't seem to know. You can wait in all day with no information. I had this problem with their scaffolding sub contractor.

Had new radiator valves an thermostat fitted..work completed fantastic and was shown how to operate.. Prior I had a phone call from faith pallister who was lovely and next day she rang back to make sure everything was up to scratch.. Couldn't ask for better thank you too all staff.

I can only say I have not had any reason to say anything negative about anyone I have had correspondence with from 0800 repair. Megan was very helpful with all my questions thank you.

Guy turned up with a I can’t be bothered attitude. Idk, he just seemed pissed off about something?? Didn’t even take a proper look and said boiler needed parts. Rang Another engineer from a different company, turned up and did the job, now I’ve got heating and hot water - no thanks to these lot jobs worth

Cancelled the job twice this week and had no notification from them. 2 days wasted waiting in. No communication from them whatsoever. Having to chase it up ourselves but to no avail. Totally unreliable.

kept stalling appointments and waited in all day for loft installation but never showed up .day before lagging and boiler were going to be installed they cancelled the whole application on the pretect that there wasnt anywhere suitable for an extraction fan in the kitchen .the engineer who checked the property found somewhere that was ok . complete waste of time and I cancelled 3 appointments to accommodate them . 79 year old with health issues and I have to put up with incompetent so called tradesmen and worse still there engineers.

Sloppy technician, poor attitude and walked out of job, when he finally came back to do the job, broke the loft hatch. This was in October and still waiting on them to get someone round to replace it!

We have been with 0800 Repair for many years now and had many call outs and repairs done by them. My latest call out was for a leak in a large radiator. 0800 did not repair but replaced the whole thing including valves etc. Top Company and Pleased I have an ongoing monthly repair plan in place to cover all my heating and parts. Highly recommended, and many thanks especially to the Engineer I believe was called Chris. Excellent job done from start to finish.👍

Had my Cavity wall done from these and it’s a lot colder then what it was with the new stuff they put it as it’s not done properly they didn’t fill the holes they drilled properly just a patch up left my loft wrecked left all my children stuff wrecked up in loft stuff that belongs to my dead grandma wrecked everything was wrecked covered in insulation and everything had to be binned with is shocking things aren’t cheap these days and definitely things can’t be replaced when people pass away like my grandmas belongings that got wrecked they don’t give a toss about your belongings they didn’t even check my loft to see if it needed cleaned up or an inspection check to make sure work was done as the person that was doing it had to go to 15 to 16 jobs as it wasn’t done his words not mine I’ve been waiting for days for weeks for someone to come out and look at it he didn’t turn up and hasn’t rang me back the pictures showing isn’t the last of it got loads of videos it won’t let me post witch I’ve posted all over my social media’s and stuff I should be payed back for what got wrecked but money doesn’t cover loading what was left behind by my passed loved one and they had to go in the bin as they were thick of installation I don’t recommend anyone get 0800 repair to do any job big or small they don’t respect the customers belongings never mind do a job with respect

Tail gating. Speeding. Trying to jump red light. Once photos taken pretending to swerve in front of us! Disgrace and dangerous. They could be the cheapest company around. Offering free repairs and I still wouldn’t use for this reason!

0800 replaced my dad's boiler today. Stephen Westlake and Ian Smith. Top lads. So patient with my dad, explained everything to him slowly and clearly. Smashing job all round. Highly recommend 0800

had an absolutely terrible experience with Chris, the surveyor. Not only was he unprofessional, but his attitude was downright rude. From the start, he was difficult to communicate with and refused to answer basic questions. When I asked for clarification on certain points, he lied to me outright and then proceeded to harass me with constant phone calls. It felt like he was more interested in making the process stressful rather than helpful. I was left feeling frustrated and completely disrespected. If you value your time and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a surveyor. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any professional setting. I would not recommend Chris to anyone.

Would not give this company 1 star. Had insulation work done back in May. The job hasn’t been finished. They’ve left me with work half done. Appalling communications. Taking weeks to get any answer. Extremely rude and robotic call centre staff. Been waiting for 9 days for a supposed recorded delivery letter from them. When asking for tracking number they won’t give to me. MP and Ofgem now in the loop. The workmen are brilliant, their managers and office staff diabolical. Do Not Touch if your life depended on it. I really hope another low income vulnerable family do not get treated like this

5 or 6 visits, 2 different people for a machine that leaks randomly and no one can figure out why!! And still leaking to this day from 2 places, no one will say its unfit for use and still no machine that works properly that's 6 months old, asks for a date of experience on here but this has been going on for 6 months.

My washer broke over xmas, was still under warranty with howdens, they sent an engineer who came with the wrong parts , ripped my kitchen floor chipped my under worktop cupboard , came back again with wrong part, another engineer came with wrong part, had to ring my local branch of howdens and they sent a local engineer to repair it ( came with right part ) all good but now im trying to get the damage repaired by 0800 repair but getting nowhere gonna have to sue im afraid…. Avoid this company at all costs.
