GU Solutions Ltd Reviews

GU Solutions installed an EV charger in February 2025. The charger worked as expected for over six months but then started to apply only approximately 50% of the charge requested. After carrying out some preliminary checks to prove the car was not at fault, I contacted GU Solutions as the charger was still under warranty. I am pleased to be able to say that a quick and positive response was received. Gary contacted me by telephone and we talked through the issue. He then visited my house to test the charger and concluded there was potentially an issue with either the charger, or more likely, an update to the App or firmware that had affected its performance. He contacted the charger manufacturer and they provided some advice. The problem has now been resolved and I commend GU Solutions for the manner in which they addressed my issue; it is good to know that customer care is a trademark of the companies ethos.

Team were brilliant from start to finish. Gary was incredibly helpful and friendly during the quoting visit, giving recommendations to our plans and even improving on them. Will, Charlie and Fed did an amazing job and were so tidy, can’t fault them. The team also went above and beyond by sending some extra members out to ensure any deadline were met. A really genuine company and lovely team, would highly recommend and will be using the team for anything we need in future!

Very professional and able to provide Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for HMOs. They also install an FDD to meet current building requirements and certified all the work done. I would recommend them even though I felt their charges were a little on the high side. They are flexible with their appointment times and great at what they do.

Gary was great when he priced the job up, very knowledgeable and friendly. The lads who did the work were great too, all was done on time and tidy work too. We were happy with the price too so will be using in the future.

Gu solutions carried out a replacement of all of pou electrics for our renovation. Gary is a lovely bloke, he was great to deal with. His staff were very friendly and efficent, Dan, harvey and another young guy whos name i cannot recall (he loved dogs)in particular are a brilliant hard workers, despite being under pressure and in the coal face dealing with us every visit they all went above and beyond. gary is very lucky to have them working for him.not everything went to plan or was completed on time, however it was always put right and we have ended up with a brilliant completed job.

I have used GU Solutions many times and never been disappointed. The most recent visit was to replace a bedroom light socket. As usual their friendly polite team arrived on time and completed the job cleanly and efficiently. I highly recommend them.

GU solutions carried out an Electrical safety check on the property we were buying and subsequently carried out some necessary repairs. On every visit they arrived on time, were very professional and very willing to spend time advising on some other electrical work we were thinking of having done. I can highly recommend GU solutions and will definitely be using them again.

I called GU Solutions after 3 electricians failed to find where the fault was. Gary diagnosed the fault within minutes and the office promptly followed up with an appointment and written quote for the work. The electrician arrived on time, was friendly and professional. GU Solutions did some work for me when I moved in a couple of years ago. Very happy with what they did, the guys were happy to discuss what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves well. Would happily recommend them.
