Gareth installed a Sigen system…

Gareth installed a Sigen system (inverter and battery) with 8 solar panels for us. It was a great experience from start to finish. He's a perfectionist and showed great care with our property. I wanted as little wiring on show as possible. He routed the cables just the way I wanted them, hiding most of them in the loft/garage. The system is working flawlessly, and even in February has generated a fair amount of solar. A true pleasure to deal with and by far, one of the best trades we've had at our property, cheers Gareth! Also, a shout out to the guys at Pegasus scaffolding, they were great too! They accidentally damaged a pipe vent, and they replaced it the next day.

Village Hall Solar Panel Project

We were looking to install a solar panel system to save money on our bills at our village hall. I must say the whole process went very smoothly and we were impressed by Gareth’s knowledge and approach to the project. He explained clearly the options and proposed a system that met our needs in terms of our supply and export back to the grid. Gareth provided clear illustrations of the various systems and this made it straightforward to decide which way to go. Great communication all the way through. The panel installation went extremely smoothly from scaffolding ejection through to completion which took about a week. Great care was taken to protect our old Victorian roof tiles! Gareth managed the set up throughout, provided all the supporting paperwork and got us up and running on the app. Very pleased with how it all went and I would have no hesitation in recommending Kinetic Renewables.

At our initial meeting Gareth was very calm, polite and understanding of our requirements. He took on board any concerns we had and put us at ease. We had done some 'homework' regarding manufactures of battery storage systems etc and Gareth was more than happy to look into these from his perspective and price accordingly. He is very knowledgeable on what can and cannot be done and his attention to detail is second to none. The whole process from the initial survey, to pricing, to installation right thorough to the sign off was faultless. The system works very well. Any question we have had regarding App settings etc, Gareth has answered very promptly. Very, very pleased.

Gareth upgraded my existing GivEnergy…

Gareth upgraded my existing GivEnergy inverter from a Gen 1 to a Gen 3 and also added an additional battery. Great communication prior to commencement and also during the install. Made sure in the day that I was happy with placements of the equipment and kept informed through the day on progress. Very knowledgeable and made sure I was fully aware of the differences and other things I needed to be aware of. Post commission Gareth has also been on hand to check that everything went smoothly and working as per my expectations. Highly recommend, having had an install previously from another installer I can say Gareth is now my preferred installer of choice. No hesitation to use again or referral to others.

GivEnergy solar and Kinetic Renewables

Gareth installed a GivEnergy solar panel and battery system in our house in a very professional and efficient manner. He explained the system in a friendly, easy to understand and non-pushy way, unlike other sales teams in the industry. The installation is up and running well. I am pleased that Gareth went the extra mile to install our system in a way that hid unsightly cables would highly recommend his services.

Value for money and Great Customer Service

We spoke and received quotes from three solar installation companies, and Gareth from Kinetic Renewables was able to answer our questions in a manner that even two people who knew next to nothing about solar power, battery storage, gateways and inverters, understood and more than that, Gareth enabled us to make decisions based on good information, so we fully understood the pros and cons of each option we were looking at. Cost wise, solar is expensive but Kinetic Renewables were competitive and as new solar panels became available prior to install, they adjusted the quote so we ended up getting more for our money. Because Kinetic Renewables are TrustMark registered we were able to take advantage of our mortgage companies green offer as well to cover some of the costs, not much but every little helps, if you are looking at any form or renewable or green energy take a look around for grants etc. Installation took a week and I have to say having Gareth here was for a week was very nice, we actually missed him when he didn't come back once the system was up and running. One of the key elements that made it so nice was that we were kept up-to-date through-out the install, we had consistent debriefs as we wanted and needed them and as we hit key decision points we were armed with the options and the facts to enable us to make informed decisions. The units themselves look great, time and effort has been taken to ensure that cables and units aren't a blot on the landscape, and it honest felt like everything within the installation process was approach with care and thought. Everything has been up and running for a few weeks now and we love the system. We are making money while the sun shines, the battery runs our house overnight and during power cuts, which we've had two of since the install and had no idea about until we received the SMS from UKPN. We are watching the reporting dashboard for the GivEngery equipment all of the time, both on our laptops and on our phones, the system is running in eco mode, where it self manages, for solar newbies this is great. What is also nice is Gareth has checked in a couple of times, just to make sure we are happy and that we don't have question or anything, not often you get that kind of customer service now days. We completely recommend Kinetic Renewables for both value for money and customer service, along with the GivEngery equipment which is also excellent and has a great warranty period as well.

A fantastic professional service.

A fantastic professional service from a company which obviously prides itself on customer satisfaction. Gareth initially visited our property to check what we had requested and been quoted for was exactly what was needed and we had solar panels and battery storage fitted just over 2 weeks ago. He allocated himself more than enough time to do the work, therefore ensuring the job was completed to a very high standard. Gareth is most certainly a perfectionist. The job did not just finish with the installation. Gareth took the time to explain very clearly how the system worked, answered any questions we had immediately after the job and in the following days when we were learning the system. From his remote monitoring of the installation he gave us a check back on how we were handling the system and that the system was working to his satisfaction. We have been able to see at a glance the amount we are saving on our energy bills already and would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thanks Gareth for a brilliant job. 🤩

Excellent install of Solar and Batteries

Gareth has made a superb job of installing solar panels, inverter, EV charger and batteries (with emergency supply.) Gareth's initial survey and quote was thorough and he was able to clearly explain options regarding equipment choice and installation locations. Whilst not the cheapest quote I received it was competitive and met all my requirements. I was confident that the installation would be of high quality. Communication following the quote was excellent and we were able to tweak the design a little to meet my (now better understood) requirements. Installation was brought forward a few weeks and scaffolding went up 2 days before the installation. Gareth completed the installation on time with just a one hour interruption to our supply. Gareth was also able to accomodate my last minute request increase the battery capacity. The installation is extremely tidy. Panels are located symmetrically, roof tiles carefully notched, and all cabling neatly clipped or run in conduit. There were a few issues during commissioning but these were resolved in conjunction with the supplier. Since then we have seen a significant reduction in our electricity costs, and a reasonable reduction in grid consumption; I am surprised how well the panels work in winter! All commissioning documentation (including DNO approval) was received a few days after installation was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Kinetic Renewables to anyone looking for an installer.

Gareth was friendly, competent and professional right from the off. He always explained what he was proposing and why. The installation was designed especially for us and our property and carried out with care and precision. Customer service and after care is excellent. We couldn't be more satisfied and would highly recommend Gareth and his team.

Kinetic Renewables Solar Installation

Gareth from Kinetic Renewables was recommended to me from a friend who had a complex solar and battery installation done with them. He was very pleased with the work from start to finish. I had Gareth come to my property to view and advise what type of solar and battery installation would be best for my house and budget. I have had a relatively small insulation of solar panels and battery fitted. This met my budget and is making a significant difference to my electricity bill. I am also very pleased with the neat installation, especially to the small details of where the components are placed and how tidy the cabling is fixed. I had lots of questions prior to installation and a few afterwards, and Gareth has been very prompt in responding. I have scope to have more solar panels installed on my garage, and I’ll have no hesitation in calling Gareth back again for this job.

Excellent experience

Gareth was extremely helpful adapting a system to our needs. No hard sell as from a couple of other companies who were significantly more expensive. Always quick to reply to my queries, can’t fault his company.
