I spoke to John about a solar system and within less than an hour he got back to me with a price seven panels. I then suggested could I have more fitted to my garage roof which bought the amount of panels up to eleven he also suggested coming round to check the roof which was all OK. Within one week he gave me a date to fit & install the solar system. They started at 08:30 and were finished by 15:30 the same day. Eleven panel, inverter and battery all wired up and running. Wayne took the trouble to set my my iPhone up and show me how the system works, through the App. The system has been up and running for a week, and my property has been running on the solar system alone. I have to say their workmanship is fantastic, they were clean & tidy. Highly recommended.! Superb Company..!

We are very pleased with our Solar Panel installation with battery storage. Expert Energy were very informative and and helped us to decide the best system for our home, both the customer service and the installation team were excellent . We were kept advised throughout the process and the site was left clean and tidy. We have been 100% self sufficient in electricity since connecting the panels even - on a rainy day. fitting an EV charger

Having fitted Solar Panels and Battery for me earlier this year, the were the obvious choice to fit a Zappi to charge my new EV. As before they were helpful, got the job done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They have provided an excellent aftercare service, upgrading the system remotely for me and answering my queries as I got to grips with it.

I ordered solar and battery may 2022. I was told by these guys it would be a bit of a wait due to everyone after it. Glad i waited. Heard many horror stories of other companies and i was a bit worried as its a lot of money. I needn’t of worried though. John and wayne are very professional. The scaffolding company where great. I have had no issue with my givenergy setup and would highly recommend this company to anyone. I had an issue with my eddi heater but john came back when it suited me to fix. 100% top service company which is so nice to have these days.

Professional installation team

After speaking to 3 separate companies regarding solar power installation I decided to go with Expert Energy Group. John carried out the survey and listened to my requirements and needs and the quote was very competitive. The quote was itemised from the panels down to labelling sheets which was above and beyond any other competitor. I was constantly kept informed of any changes in installation dates due to manufacturers delays. The installation was carried out in a professional manor and to my expectations. Since the installation I have been monitoring the solar power progress through the App and I have been overwhelmed by the power provided by the system, and through my smart metre I can see the amount of money the system is saving me on a weekly basis. Not only would I recommend solar panels, I absolutely recommend Expert Energy Group as A1 installers.

Good start and very good service when they want the job. Until things go wrong won't respond to emails calls or WhatsApp messages. But with one guy called John and the other Wayne. I should of put 2n2 together and realized total COWBOYS JOHN WAYNE. Ordered another Battery in April 2022. Told June no problems July install is fine as will be on holiday. Came back and called told August. September and called told supplier cancelled and if we want £500.00 more. Had to chase every time. Wayne told me to call his supplier who advise order wasn't cancelled but would be October. This guy Wayne won't return calls or any messages except one tonight. Which a fault is showing on App and wasnt interested and typed on WhatsApp DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS. Don't contact me again... Be careful this is a company that takes money talk the talk but then has no customer service or communication skills. Will not be recommending again. Looks like trading standards and courts are next unless Wayne resolves the Faults.

Very friendly and helpful, they are very quick to reply to queries and take time to explain things. The installation of the solar panels was quick and very neat and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted several ‘industry recommended’ local installers, which wasn’t very fruitful, with little or no interest. The one company that did respond and actually do a site visit, then sent me a quote which bore no resemblance to what we had discussed, it didn’t even include the battery storage! After 2 months of this, I then carried out an independent local search and found Expert Energy Group (EEG). They are a local, long established electrical contractor, with good reviews and all the expected affiliations and official body memberships. John Harrow from EEG came and carried out a site survey and sent me a full and comprehensive quote, with solar production projections, estimated return on investment etc, and a breakdown of the equipment with costs. John had provided a solution which was exactly what I wanted and we had discussed, not what suited them. I accepted the quote and the process began. By this time, the solar industry was now seriously overloaded, which inevitably caused long delays for everyone, but EEG kept me regularly updated on progress for the equipment. Once all the equipment had arrived, we booked an installation date. The 20 x PV panels and 3 x batteries, inverter etc. were installed over 2 days, professionally and neatly. The system was explained to me and the mobile app was installed and linked to my phone before they left. It was late September, so there wasn’t much sunshine about, but I was still surprised how little daylight it takes to generate ‘free’ energy. I received all the necessary documentation in the handover pack within the week following installation. Everything seems to be working properly, just waiting for brighter days now, shouting at clouds and cheering sunshine. I have been very pleased with Expert Energy Group for their excellent service and I fully recommend them.

I can HIghly Recommend Expert Energy Group, They installed a Givenergy battery system to my exisiting solar panels in September 2022. If you are thinking about installing batteries I would say go for it as it has reduced my monthly electricity bill quite a bit so the return on investment will be quicker than I originally expected. The installation was completed without any issues, both John and Wayne are very tidy workers and are very conscientious. I would not hesitate to contact them again for further work.

I contacted Expert Energy Group to install a battery system to my existing solar panels, I was contacted by John who recomended a Givenergy system, I was informed that due to the current energy crisis that the availability of stock was minimal and that it could be several months before the system could be installed. I was kept upto date by them through the whole process and in Septemeber 2022 both John and Wayne installed the 9.5kwh battery and invertor to my exisiting solar panels. The installation was completed without any issues and everything up and running, However a day or 2 later there was an issue with the Givenergy equipment which John contacted me about as they had been monitoring it and noticed an issue, they were already on the case with Givenergy and within a few days everything was sorted and has been working great ever since and it has reduced my monthly electricity bill. I would highly recommend Expert Energy Group as they were honest and up front about the supply issues the installation was very neat and tidy and John is very conscientious about his job and customers. I will not hesitate to contact them again if i need to install another battery.

Very poor in replies have just got back…

Very poor in replies have just got back from Holiday and now have to process a claim as these guys don't respond Calls What's app and emails but have to do correct way and give them opportunity. But at least CA have said I can claim extra in costs to install the upgrade to the system they installed. And also consequential loss. Which should be more than the installation complete. Wayne and John you messed with the wrong customer this time.. Now you are trying to remove this review like you did on your FACEBOOK page. You even sent a letter undated unsigned and no company address on your letter head not even the company reg number. Very unprofessional.

Honest Company

I have contacted Expert Energy for yearly service of my Nibe unit. I have been charged for servicing and replacement of damaged part. After my visit I have received an email and they have refunded approximately 150 GBP for that parts and time they have not used. That was really very honest and would not have noticed had they not informed me, so grateful for that.

I have had solar panels on my roof for…

I have had solar panels on my roof for a number of years and the company that originally installed them is no longer trading. I wanted to add some batteries to the system so I could store the energy and use it in the evenings when the panels aren’t generating power. I sent an enquiry via email and had a quote back within a few hours. They installed a GivEnergy 8.2kWh battery. It didn’t take long to install and within a couple of hours it was up and running. Highly recommended

I bought an electric car and I was originally plugging it into an outdoor socket. It charged very slowly so I started to shop around for electric vehicle charging points. I found Expert Energy Group on google and submitted my details for a quote. They sent me a link where I uploaded all my documents and within a week they installed my EV charger. They also applied for the OZEV grant as well which saved me £350. Very professional from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I have been looking at solar panels for a while and decided to get some quotes. I had a lot of questions about the install and the technical manager was very knowledgeable and answered all of my annoying questions promptly! He certainly knows his stuff. I felt confident that I was dealing with a professional company so pulled the trigger. They weren’t the cheapest quote I received but the equipment they used is some of the best and the in-depth knowledge they had made me feel confident in my decision. I’m now powering my home and selling some electricity back to the grid. Overall, I’m very happy with the installation.

I emailed expert energy group on the 10th May for a quote on a solar panel installation. Within 24 hours I had a full detailed report sent back to me confirming costs and how much I will save over the coming years. Compared to other quotes I’ve had this was by far the most professional and detailed. They then attended my home and completed a survey to make sure my electrical system was suitable. After making sure I was happy with everything they returned a few days later and fitted my solar panels. The whole install took a day and they worked incredibly hard in the poor weather conditions. The install team were very professional and polite. I’m extremely happy with the work and would highly recommend this company to any of my friends or family. Thanks again expert energy group
