Firstly apology for the late posting, 510 Aiko all black panels fitted 16 in total even across east west roof and yep a Tesla powerwall 3, these guy’s are fantastic and honest with their customer straight off the bat, we had prices from a quite a few companies and these guy’s were the fairest some people came close but only after re quoting two or three times also the system has been running for five months now no issues, would recommend strongly that this company is supported, again Jack sorry for the late post.

Sol Fuel LTD are a great company, they’re very professional, highly skilled and very knowledgeable. I was apprehensive about installing solar panels and batteries as it’s a big investment, but I must say that everything they advised me about the system was true and it operates exactly as explained, plus I think it will pay for itself between 4-5 years. Although they didnt install the system in the attached pictures for me as they were not a registered Tesla installer at the time of my install, I have known them for many years as they have done a large amount of electricalwork / instals for me and since becoming Tesla registered, they have installed other systems that I know of and I know these people have been very pleased with their service. very friendly team. came out to help my mum when we discovered a fault code on her already installed inverter and battery. Even though Sol Fuel hadn't done the installation they came out and installed a new inverter and checked all the existing system and got my mum back up and working. cleared all the rubbish and have been really helpful. No sales pitches, no add ons just honest friendly work. Thanks so much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you xx

I wholeheartedly recommend Sol Fuel. They were excellent from start to finish, and I'm extremely pleased with the results, and have no regrets at all. Communication was great, and they're the only solar company I contacted that gave all the right answers to my questions like, "Can the inverter be installed in the loft?" (answer: yes, but it's not recommended). They have their own fitters, unlike many national companies who subcontract. They also use better quality hardware than many suppliers, esp. the nationals who I found tend to go with the cheaper brands. They may not be the cheapest, but they are more than worth the difference in my view. You won't regret choosing Sol Fuel!

Very pleased! After obtaining 3 quotes for our solar installation, we decided to accept the quote from Sol Fuel Ltd, it wasn’t the cheapest quote but was offering more superior equipment than the others. After talking the process through with Jack, we felt more confident in having his company do the job as he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave great advice - far more than the other companies who just sent salesmen over. Jack offered us 4 quotes dependant on how many panels we wanted and which systems we wanted to use. Included in his quotes were a Zappi car charger, an Eddi diverter for the hot water and a battery. Jack talked us through the timescale for the work and arranged everything including the scaffolding. The team of workers (roofer, electrician etc) were very polite and tidy workers and have made a very neat job of our installation. Once the install was complete Jack set everything up and explained how it all worked. As with any new equipment, we did have some moments where the settings needed changing or resetting and Jack was available either in person or over the phone to assist in getting us back on track. From the day he first visited us to arrange the quote to the day our solar system went live was around 4 weeks. We are really pleased with our system and so glad that we went with Sol Fuel Ltd and would happily recommend them to family, friends or anyone who asks about our system.

Came and installed a EV wall charger at my home. The installation was quick & the engineers explained everything to me clearly, including how to use the charger. They also cleared up thoroughly on completing the job. Very good, thanks. Amendment: Once I started using the charger, I found that the engineers had not configured it correctly and it was only charging at 1.5-2kwh, instead of the 7KWh that it should charge at. I had to find out how to change this myself - so not good!

We commissioned Sol Fuel to upgrade our existing solar set up with additional panels and another Tesla Powerwall. They quoted us happy….. significantly cheaper than the nearest quote. Arrived on time as agreed and finished the work in one day. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We are very happy with their service and professionalism. We would certainly recommend Sol Fuel.

I was curious to learn more about the benefits of solar so had Jack come and do a site visit. I was pleased to find out he’s background isn’t just in solar and he was able to help me with my heat pump as well! Sol Fuel have since installed a solar system with battery for me and a car charger. Definitely recommend these guys. They were competitive on price and delivered a first class service despite challenging conditions with the weather.

If you are considering a solar installation and are looking around trying to decide who to call then you can stop here and go ahead with Sol Fuel. I did a lot of research into different systems and suppliers and right from the get-go I was impressed with Jack and Darren from Sol Fuel. They were very informative and impartial in their advice, going out of their way to answer even my most awkward questions and suggesting holding off on a couple of things to save cost until I'd seen how the system settled in. Once we'd agreed the install we had a short wait (brought forward by three weeks!) and then had a very tidy and efficient installation. The workmanship was top quality and thoughtfully laid out with neat and tidy cable runs. The team were unfailingly polite and tidied up when done. Following the installation Darren has been religious in following up and asking if we had further questions and the DNO certificate arrived promptly the day after the work was completed. All in all an excellent job and one I don't hesitate to recommend! The real differentiator throughout though has been the high level of communications - keeping us informed of timings, progress and being proactive in asking questions is sadly something that does not happen very often from many companies and it is here that Sol Fuel add the cherry to the top of their cake!

I've been after solar for over a year, with a failed install under my belt. Various companies quoted and weren't always upfront about what you can actually get on your roof. I wouldn't say I'm an expert user by any means, but had done enough research to know what I wanted. The other thing to bear in mind is that some companies try and force you to install a brand you may not want. And aren't always able to answer technical questions as they may just be resellers. This is where Jack and Darren were set apart from the rest of the companies I've dealt with. I found them via a recommendation on the Givenergy Facebook group. A local resident had work done by SolFuel and spoke glowingly of their workmanship and customer care. Jack and Darren turned up on the very day I called them. Immediately I was put at ease. Jack walked me through all my options and was honest about what I could achieve. I was also after the givenergy system which not everyone installs, but they have in abundance. All of my technical questions were answered with follow up. Between meeting the guys and having my install completed with all the relevant paperwork, I waited approximately 4 weeks! Which after waiting so long, I didn't want to miss what little summer sun we get. The install itself was expertly finished, very neat and tidy and looks and most importantly works flawlessly. Every system has teething issues, I've yet to have any but I can be rest assured help, if needed would be just a phone call away. The biggest compliment I can give these guys, is that you won't have trust issues. So honest and hardworking. They aren't the cheapest and so they shouldn't be, as its the quality of work and customer care that really matters with something like this. I wholeheartedly recommend solfuel and will be going back to them in the future for any upgrades I may want. Thank you for making this a painless experience.

Sol Fuel installed solar panels, a battery and car charger for me in January 2023. I chose them because they were helpful, knowledgeable, quick to follow up on my enquiry, and provided a very reasonable quote. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and everyone I had contact with was polite and helpful. The only reason I would give four rather than five stars is that the installation took longer than originally quoted (scaffolding was up for about six weeks rather than two - I wouldn't have minded the timescale if I'd been told that in advance), and there were times when either I was waiting in for people to come and they didn't, or they did come on days I didn't expect. It also took several months to get the documentation after the process was complete. But really those are small niggles and it was a generally very positive experience.

After suffering at the hands of those solar companies what a welcome breath of fresh air SolFuel were! No teaching me to suck eggs just good knowledge, honest advise and simply the best install I have seen! Oh yes and follow-up like no other, they really CARE for their customers an art that is lost with some bigger firms! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - REALLY!

Amazing service. We had an existing system installed before we moved in. We had a warranty issue that Jack and Darren resolved with Solar Edge saving us around 2k. Prompt service with great communication throughout. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We’ve just had Solar PV & Battery System installed by these guys and we cannot praise them enough for the design and work carried out. We were very concerned about neatness and intrusive cable runs around our property after the system was installed, but once they had finished, it was exactly how we would of wanted it. It was perfect!! The customer service was excellent from start to finish. All questions were answered and explained thoroughly so that we understood how the system would work. They gave us a design that would meet the needs of our energy consumption, but they also gave us other alternatives which made it even more interesting. They were with us for about 3 1/2 hours for the on-site survey and discussion and didn’t show any eagerness to leave which made us feel very comfortable. Also they came to the property straight away instead of doing a remote design and sending in a email which most of the other companies did who we asked to quote. The equipment used was very aesthetically pleasing and fitted to a very high standard. Also they left everywhere clean and tidy. Once the equipment was commissioned and up and running they spent time with us to download the apps and setting up to coincide with our two rate tariff with our energy provider You wouldn’t be disappointed using Sol Fuel, we shall definitely be inviting them back if we decide to add to the system in the future. My experience with said company was extremely pleasant; my advisor Alex was very professional and made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. The installation process ran very smoothly and the team worked very efficiently and completed it within the time frames specified as promised. I will certainly be recommending them to any family members or associates of mine.

Awesome, I feel like I found these guys under the Golden Goose! I hired Sol Fuel LTD to finish off installing a battery after I was let down repeatedly by a previous company I hired over six months ago who installed my solar array. Jack, Darren, Alex and Alex were all very attentive, accommodating toward my work schedule and polite. The battery was installed where I wanted it, very quickly and competitively priced, other companies refused to install the battery or had waiting times of several weeks or tried to rip me off with overpriced installs or rude. These guys, without even asking even corrected the upside down isolator that the previous company installed. Couldn't recommend them enough and will use these guys when I get Solar panels on the other side of the house. Thanks
