Great company, great decision.

Our solar panels were installed mid April so wanted to leave it while before reviewing to have a true picture. We were never going to have solar panels; too old, won't get money back etc. Joe Solar, as we refer to him, was amazing with his knowledge and not pushy, just demonstrated benefits. From there everything happened just as he said it would and very quickly. It took approx. 4 weeks due to UK power networks, before the energy we were sending to the grid, began to be paid into our account; Octopus. We have just 13 panels and my electricity bill has gone from approx. £150/month to £60 and I have been receiving average £60/month for energy exported. I realise this will be less Autumn/winter and some spring but even on dull days, energy is generated. Great decision, great company, great installers and Joe and Ben were an absolute pleasure and deserve to be successful.

Awesome experience start to finish

From the very first call we had a great deal of support from the guys. I know it isn’t but it just feels like a great family business. Everything explained very well, offer was done in great detail and once accepted the plan was quickly put in place. The installation itself was really great. These guys can graft and didn’t stop till it was done. All done in one day. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Outstanding customer service

In September 2024 asked three companies to quote for replacing my gas boiler with an Air Source Heat Pump and Solar panels with a battery. Amazon Renewables responded enthusiastically and provided the most acceptable quotation. The work was carried out in October 2024. I stayed with my partner during the work which took about two weeks as they had to change almost all the existing radiators which meant floors up in most of the house. The work was completed to a high standard. Any issues were resolved to my satisfaction. The system works really well. The house was evenly heated and very comfortable during the winter and I always have plenty of hot water. Since all the "machinery" is in my garage the house is much quieter than before, no pump or boiler noise. Even better, the tariff I am on with my energy supplier means that during the summer months I am making a good profit and have reduced significantly the monthly amount I pay my energy supplier. All in all I am really pleased I chose Amazon Renewables.

Outstanding company

From the moment Joe from Amazon started to talk to my wife and I about solar I knew it was going to be an interesting ride. No hard sell, just a very good understanding of the products which gave us confidence to go further. In the finish, we had 18 solar panels, car EV charger, heat pump, complete revamp from micro bore to 15mm pipework and 11 new radiators. Within a week or so, Dusty, Micky and Mirek arrived and fitted the panels and inverters in a day. Brilliant fellas with a great work ethic. Did a super tidy job. Matt and Ben both came out and carried out thorough surveys on the house and checked out our insulation. Our pipework had to be changed and I was happy about that. Future proofed the system. Mirek and Simon turned and within 2 days had stripped out the oil boiler, old water cylinder and replaced it with a new closed cylinder and fitted the heat pump. The next 2 days was the hard part. Re-plumbing a 4 bed house! Mirek, Simon and Micky fitted the EV charger and re-plumbed the whole house and put it all back together in 2 days! The skill and knowledge was obvious. Bravo to these chaps, as they are real grafters! The whole team are not only a really nice bunch, but they do what they say they are going to do and get it done on time. The workmanship and the quality of the product is excellent. The cost was very competitive too. Well done chaps, keep knocking it out of the park!!

Solar Green/Amazon Renewables

Joe cold called on our door in early April as they were installing panels close by. I advised him that I wasn’t really interested but would happily accept a quote. Joe accepted this and within a week, as promised a quote was emailed across which piqued my interest. I called Joe and then set up a meeting over a coffee to discuss in detail. It was clear that Joe is very enthusiastic about renewables and knows his stuff. Based on this meeting I and my wife decided to proceed with the Solar Panel’s install. The physical install was painless and Joe/Matt have held my hand all the way through to getting the panels now registered with my energy supplier to get paid for the power I send back to UKPN. I have recommended Joe to 3 friends and each have proceeded with him so I feel that that say’s a thousand words on it own.

Amazing Amazon Renewables

Joe has been great in the whole process - communication vital and top of the list. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful and available to to answer questions before, during and after the installation. We had 24 panels fitted and amazed at the impact it has had on our bills already plus earning money on our exports. The App is very useful at monitoring usage and we're able to check how all panels produce electricity. We definitely recommend Amazon Renewables. The whole team are great but special mention must go to Joe.

Joe explained the whole process and benefits of solar very well to us. He was informative and very passionate about renewables. He obviously knows the industry and systems inside and out! Communication was great THROUGHOUT and we were kept informed about how things were going, what to expect, time frames etc… The team that fitted arrived on time, were efficient, hard working, polite and completed the job in only one day (and that was fitting 48 panels)! Very happy with our solar system…

Very happy with our solar system designed and fitted by Amazon Renewables. The whole team were excellent. Thanks to our first contact Joe, design team Ben and Matt and the installation team who were lovely. The whole process was very quick, everyone was always available and helped us with every stage including setting up an export tariff.

Helpful and honest throughout

Joe and Ben were helpful throughout our dealings with them. From discussing our options and giving realistic figures that we were likely to achieve with solar panels to helping us with getting set up following the installation it couldn't have gone better

Belief in the product

We had been considering solar power for some time but previous investigations were not convincing from a financial point of view and suppliers that we had spoken to were very prescriptive in the choice of equipment and set-up. Then we spoke to Amazon, who were happy to be flexible from the outset. They costed several options for us and when we finally decide to go ahead the final decision regarding equipment and set-up was driven by us. The different phases of the project were clearly outlined prior to work starting and were adhered to throughout the works. The staff carrying out the site work were punctual, polite and professional in their approach. The work was tidy and they were at pains to keep disruption to a minimum. Questions we had were happily answered and it was obvious that they had pride and a belief in their product. Throughout the project, phone calls, email and texts were answered promptly and if something was promised then it was done. The equipment installed looks to be of the highest standard and is not intrusive. In fact, it blends in extremely well. The smart app allows us to keep an eye on the system if we wish but I feel that this facility will soon become an accepted part of our everyday lives. A job well done.

A quick, quality install.

I requested a quote on renewable energy hub for a heat pump and Amazon Renewables (AR) were the only company to come back to me. I spoke to Joe who took me through the process and quoted me for solar too. This was mid-november. They said they "might" get it in before Christmas but whatever, I was in no hurry. Fast forward to 20th December and after 4 hectic days I'm in a warm home with solar panels heating my house. The team were hard working, very tidy, friendly and paid attention to the quality of their work. I had an issue with a loss of pressure a day later so text Ben at 5.30 PM and he got back to me in literally 2 minutes with the solution. This is a business that protects itself by installing quality products by quality craftsmen and providing quality after sales problem solving.

Professional installation, using quality parts.

Once we had made the decision to have a solar panel system fitted we began to get quotes from a few suppliers. After studying all the facts and figures provided, we felt that Amazon Renewables came up with the best solution for our needs. the kit they provided was top end, and the installation team did an excellent job with the minimum of disruption. The electrician spent time to ensure all cabling was kept out of sight and went through how everything worked, including the app on my phone. After the installation all my questions were promptly answered. We are more than happy that we made the right choice to use Amazon Renewables.

Professional from start to finish

Ben and Jo were both really friendly and knowledgeable answering any questions we had either about the installation or solar power. The installation team made a really neat tidy job of the cables and consumer units. Due to a small technical problem unrelated to the installation Ben and his colleagues used all their knowledge and resources to get the issue resolved quickly while keeping us updated at all times. The app which is installed on my phone is easy to use and very informative. A professional job from start to finish, very impressed and would thoroughly recommend.

Installations of heat pumps & Solar panels

Amazon renewables installed a Heat Pump system in 2020 & installed Solar Panels in Nov 2023.On each occasion the service was exemplary.They are always contactable to answer any queries & I would highly recommend this company.

Air source heat pump heating system

Amazon Renewables replaced our old oil heating system with an air source heat pump. The advantages (and disadvantages) were thoroughly explained and assistance was given with the (then) government financial incentive available. Installation was efficient, tidy and clean. A radiator issue was resolved and corrected at no extra cost. Support was provided before, during and after installation - full marks!

I have used Amazon renewables since 2021 when they fitted me Airsource Heat Pump and earlier this year they fitted Solar Panels. All were done within the time they quoted and have been avaiable to talk whenever I have needed further information.
