Joe is an absolute professional when it comes to electrics! He saved the day when we thought our whole house may have needed rewiring but instead he reassured us it was a lose wire and managed to fix the issue very swiftly. Highly recommend!

Excellent service

Excellent service, problem fixed and quick response (less than 1 hour from the initial call). Some sockets stop working and no fault breaks were evident so a bit of testing was needed. Joe brought the right tools and did a detailed inspection until he found the problem and fixed it with great quality. My new GO TO electrician.

Jody was great, really friendly and very helpful. The team had the issues with our solar panel box solved promptly. We would definitely recommend them.

Following a problem with a domestic circuit

Following a problem with a domestic circuit I desperately needed an experienced electrician at very short notice. Thunder Sparks Electrical was superb and promised an electrician would be at my property within 10 minutes . This time slot was met and the electrician,Bart, identified and resolved the problem almost immediately. I would have no hesitation in recommending Thunder Sparks and they will most definitely be my “go to” electrician for all future needs.

We dealt with Jody and Evren, who were courteous, helpful and responsive throughout. Our problem related to a solar power installation, which the original electrical contractors did not wire properly. Even though Jody and Evran' s business was not responsible for this, they took on the remedial work and fixed it in a morning. The developer/original contractor had failed to accept responsibility for the defective work over a period of nearly six months. We would not hesitate to use Thunder Sparks again.

EV charger problems - call Thunder Sparks Ltd

I can't thank Joe at Thunder Sparks enough. After 4 weeks of frustration with EV charger problems, limited help from the manufacturer and a less than helpful installation from a previous electrician, I decided to call Thunder Sparks Ltd, as they are located close to my home. I explained the issues to Joe on the phone and he thought he could help. Within 10 minutes he arrived and got to work installing a data cable, which successfully resolved the malfunction. Even though the job took over an hour, Joe refused to accept any payment. He was just happy to help. He even explained the EV charger App on my phone and ensured it was working correctly. My experience with Joe at Thunder Sparks Ltd was excellent from his immediate response and his knowledge of the product to his clean, tidy workmanship through to the successful outcome. I would highly recommend Joe and Thunder Sparks Ltd.

All a bit strange really. After confirming our project would fit into our respective mutual timeframes, we arranged for Jody to come around and survey our house. Jody spent a good hour at our home and came up with some helpful suggestions. Jody said his quote would be with us within the next 3 days. 12 days later…….diddly squat. I’ve even sent a chase up email and text but no response of any kind. Other than gaining a few helpful suggestions, I just felt my time was wasted. I would have rated one star, but as I stated above, Jody was a nice guy and provided some helpful advice. UPDATE 27/04/23 How bizarre, I have received all emails apart from the one you stated was sent to me on 15/04/23. I would also point out that I received no responses to my chase-up text and email both sent on 21/04/23. As previously mentioned, Jody confirmed our project would fit into our respective mutual timeframes at the time of his site visit. I would rather companies just say if they don’t wish to/ don’t have the time to undertake the work or something bigger, better or more lucrative has come up.

When considering Solar Panels back last summer, I spoke with Jody from Thundersparks who were installing them at a neighbours house. After surveying the position of my house he prepared a no obligations quote for 14 solar panels and storage battery with a very clear schematic of the system. An estimation of the annual energy savings was included. It was a truthful evaluation of the benefits and being a very reasonable price, I went ahead with the system. The work was scheduled and work commenced within a short while. The scaffolding went up and the panels installed in a few days. Jody and his team were very polite, friendly and very efficient in what they did and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the position of the panels, cabling and ancillary equipment. They also installed guarding all around the panels to prevent pigeons nesting underneath. The actual look of the panels enhances the look of my house and with the unobtrusive guarding, the pigeons have flown off!! They have maintained their contact with us and helped with getting the best out of the system. We are now seeing the benefits of the energy savings which will get even better as summer days return. I can thoroughly recommend Thundersparks to anyone considering Solar Panels. With the rocketting energy bills, this is a must!

Recently had Thunder Sparks install solar PV and storage batteries at our home. Very professional, knowledgeable, fair pricing and a pleasure to deal with. Solar is in a lot of demand with current high energy prices. If you are planning on an install, and these guys can fit you in, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Thunder Sparks Ltd, fitted us a battery ready Solar Panel system. Joe and his team were superb, very professional, knowledgeable and meticulous in their work. We were particularly impressed at how access to the panels from pigeons and squirrels was addressed by placing protective wiring all around the panels. We have a very old house which meant the electrical wiring of the system was not straight forward. The cause was quickly identified and sorted and our panels are up and running. We are delighted with the service we received and would recommend Thunder Sparks with no hesitation.

Great job!

We had a problem with our solar panels. We had already ordered the required part, but knew that a second panel had developed a fault since ordering. Jody came along and fixed the first panel, then identified the fault on the second. To my surprise, he said he had the parts needed to repair the second panel. Within a couple of hours both panels were working perfectly. Polite, on time, neat and tidy and got the job done…Excellent work!

There in no time, problem solved, and on a Saturday too!

When we had a urgent electrical problem and on a Saturday too, Jodie was able to pop over immediately to sort it out enabling other works to carry on. And he didn’t take the mickey with his price considering it was the weekend neither!

Jody was punctual, well presented and polite which created a good first impression. He explained exactly what needed to be done and also informed me of the Fan he would be installing. As this was a rental property and I wasn’t in attendance on installation day Jody sent me a video showing the work had been carried out and the fan in action. My experience of Thunder sparks was very positive and I have no problem in recommending them to friends and family for any work that may come up.

Provided EICR report and did associated corrections. Was a good service with good communication and did what was necessary rather than go for the easy ride.
