New fourth Tesla Powerwall Battery Fitted

Following Storm Goretti and the 67 hour powercut, we have just had a fourth Tesla Powerwall Battery fitted to complete the set and give us an improved resilience. The team were friendly, businesslike with a can-do attitude. Rapidly fitted the new battery, installed an update to the software and tested the system. Installed in around two hours, i was very pleased with the team and recommend them. Thanks guys.

Solar and heat pump…

We had solar fitted (including battery) in the autumn and then a heat pump in the run up to Christmas. Both George and Jordan worked really efficiently and diligently to get us up and running. They left no mess and were very informative with the handover. I would definitely recommend GreenGen.

Heat Pump, Solar and Battery

Had two systems installed by GreenGenUK, a heat pump and solar with battery. Both systems have been installed with only very minor issues. Any system installs like these would have issues as its engineering, the team sorted anything I asked of them very quickly and with no fuss. The systems are being tested with this cold and slightly sunny spell we are having and both are working as I would have hoped and not like some would have you believe they might work. House is at 21 degrees all the time, via the Heat Pump, and the solar is producing generous amounts of kWs even during the winter months. I would definitely recommend GreenGenUK to install systems at your home. Great work and thank you.

heat pump from GreenGen and service

Have had a heat pump from GreenGen since last year in our older 1930’s house and it has worked well, the house more comfortable than with the previous oil CH and cheaper to run. First service today with Alistair was very satisfactory and he answered my queries regarding the various settings and options to maximise the function of the HP very clearly.

My ASHP failed just before Christmas

My ASHP failed just before Christmas. I contacted GreenGen (unfortunately it was a weekend). Alistair the engineer called me back the same day and attended the following day to fix it ( on a Sunday ) He also checked all was well subsequently, so I was very pleased with the level of service, thank you Alistair & GreenGen 😄

Green gen are a brilliant company

Green gen are a brilliant knowledgeable company who can't do enough to help. Alastair was very responsive and went out of his way to sort out our heating issues over the Christmas period. Can't recommend them enough 😁

We had installed an air source heat pump by greengen, we couldnt fault the fitting but and its a big but the after care/follow up is absoulutly diabolical. Appointments made, waited in, had time off work and no show and no explanation. We had to phone the office to let them know the plumber never showed up. Re booked assured we would be 1st call of day (by the office) time off work again, called office as no show and appatently double booked and would arrive with us 3 hours after time we were given. If this is their best after sales service i wouldnt bother either promoting them or taking out their after sales care plan.

GREENGENUK, Solar panel and battery installation

Greengen kept me informed throughout the installation process and advised me of any delays and dates when work was postponed during the recent appalling weather. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jordan and Jake, the electrical team for the neat installation of all the electrics and the Tesla Powerwall 3 system also for running me through the whole installation on how it all works, much appreciated, Secondly the Solar panel installation team Simon and Kieren who had to fight the elements wind and rain, sorry it was so bad for you, but well done for persevering and getting the panels on and thirdly the back office team, Sophia, Mawgan and Jack for your help and organising the installation. Well done GreengenUK, highly recommended, wish I had done it sooner. Even in this bad weather my electricity bill is zero and have exported around 20Kw into the grid, can't wait for some decent weather when the solar panels will really ramp up.

Top Professionalism

Jack, James and John worked cleanly and efficiently to complete our solar panel fitting in Dorset. They made sure the panels were sitting flat on our roof, which was a challenge, but they worked tirelessly to get it right. With the adjustable fixtures on each panel, they were able to finish the job to our complete satisfaction. They made sure we were happy at every step of the way, and showed us how to use the system. We feel very satisfied with the overall experience and would not hesitate to recommend these friendly engineers at GreenGenUK. A big thanks to all involved.

Heating & solar system

We’ve had an air source heat pump and solar with battery installed by Greengen in our new build,all went very well and the system seems to be working as it should , the guys who came out to install the system ( Zacc,Ben medlin, treeve, morgan & dan ) we’re great guys and extremely helpful, I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

Air Source Heat Pump Installation

A big thank you to Max G. for his diligence and patience installing our heat pump, particularly given the challenges he faced getting the system to 'talk' to our existing heating controls. Another thank you to our project manager Amelia for her professional handling of a couple of issues that arose around the specifications in the quote. And a final thank you to Ben for his clear and comprehensive explanation of how the system works. I would and have recommend(ed) GreenGenUK to anyone who is considering solar panels or an air source heat pump, the quality of the installation work is excellent. I would advise active engagement with the operations team in the office as being and intelligent customer helps them to be an intelligent supplier.

I have just had an airsource heatpump battery bank…

I have just had an airsource heatpump Battery bank and EV charger installed. The process from start to finish has been very efficient. The house plant room space was not generous but the engineers Ben E Plumber and Jake Electrical with their helpers, sorted everything out and all seems to be working well. All the engineers and staff have been a pleasure to have in the house, polite, tidy and easy to deal with. I am delighted with the work and would strongly recommend Greengen.

We had very specific requirements for our air source heat pump project with tight timeframes due to a leaking boiler and limited hot water. Neil from GreenGenUK listened to our needs and went out of their way to accommodate as much as possible, designing to spec. The survey was thorough and the presales spec was highly detailed. Jack, our GreenGenUK plumber, carried out the plumbing work to an exceptional standard (see photos). We used a different plumber to install our rads to reduce costs and GreenGenUK worked together with our plumber. However, in retrospect, we wish we had used GreenGenUK to perform the full install as their workmanship was neat and high quality and would have represented better value. We had personal aftersales service from the company director, Rob, who really knows all the technologies they sell. Overall, I can't fault the service and I don't think we were the easiest of customers! I would highly recommend the team and am looking forward to using them for my next project.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. No show for scheduled appointments. Lack of communication and faulty equipment.

Excellence personified

We needed to have an EV charger not sure where to go we first called a well known energy supplier who also supply EVs and a variety of other related products. The sales man told me such a different tale - making it sound horrendous, compared to the experience my cousins’ had. So I rang GreenGen here in Helston, the lady I talked to, reassured me that it sounded wrong! She asked one of their team to come and chat to us. Alan came, he explained the whole process clearly and totally understandably, taking into account our solar panels. He proceeded to take a survey, all sounding more and more in line with my cousins’ experience! We received a good proposal from Sophia, popped up to discuss finer details with her and paid the deposit. On the arranged day the engineer came on time with a cherry greeting - we met Treeve, from the first he listened to us and reassured us that we could have the actual charging unit inside. He made this totally possible, he worked so hard - always smiling answering any questions we had. He was a pleasure to have around the house. Finally he got us on line using the app, This was an excellent experience all round from our first phone call to the final finish. If there were more stars to give this very excellent group of people especially Treeve then I would! I heartily recommend the Helston GreenGen, with absolutely no reservations.

Another Heating Engineer, who saw this very tidy and neat installation, said he would employ Morgen there and then. Morgen is a very polite young man and is an excellent ambassador for the GreenGen team. We are very pleased with his work.

Ryan, Jordan and the team were spot on for the two weeks that there were in our home fitting the new heat pump system. Everything they did they asked before hand, kept us informed and cleaned up at the end of every day. Good system knowledge which made what was a disruptive job be not an issue. Obviously proof will be in the system test but I have no worries that’s it all done to a great standard. Well done team and GreenGen 👏

We have just had a solar system with battery and an Air Source Heat pump fitted by GreenGenUK and the experience was excellent throughout. Alan came to see us twice to discuss our requirements and help us to decide what system would be right for us…… no pushy sale talk just good honest advice. All of the trades people (roofers, electricians and heating engineers) that came to do the install (which was quite complicated) were very polite and friendly and showed a huge respect for our property;they were always prepared to answer any questions we had. They were all very professional and worked very hard to finish the install within the time quoted, which they did. All of GreenGen’s office staff were friendly and helpful whenever I raised any queries. It was great to get our install completed by a local Cornish based company and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is thinking about ‘going green’ with their energy. We have seen a huge difference in our energy usage since we had the solar and battery fitted and are now ‘selling’ excess electricity back to the grid. Thank you GreenGen.

Amazing. We had solar and a heat pump installed by Craig and the team. Everyone working on our job was professional, diligent and really went the extra mile to make sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible which is not easy with 2 young children in the home. Polite, hard working and great workmanship. Couldn't have been happier with it.

Three years ago we had the GreenGen boys to fit solar panels, they did such a good job, that when I had to have a new Air Source Pump fitted in April, they were the firm I turned to. They made a brilliant job, very professional, protected my furniture and carpets. Morgen the plumber and Adam the electrician worked so hard to get the job done to a very high standard. They were great with my dog, explained everything they needed me to know, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. In the office Rachael deserves a special mention, nothing is ever too much trouble for her. They really are a first class outfit.

Great company to deal with. Recently had new air pump heating system installed. The installers were efficient and professional and did an exceptional job. The plumbers Craig and Tristan and the electrician Jordan were all conscientious about the quality of their work and even stayed on late some evenings to ensure the project was completed on time and the the highest standards. The level of communication at all stages was exemplary. We would highly recommend this company.

Just had the guys at GreenGenUK fit a battery storage system for us having previously had solar panels and ASHP done on the GovEco4 scheme. The fitters Daniel here for the 3 days with help from Cam and Ben plus the roofers ( sorry didn’t catch your names) who removed and refitted a solar panel as we put in a new velux. Andrew Foulkes was very helpful as were all the staff. Am now looking into servicing the ASHP through them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Wish we had known about them for the Gov Eco 4 scheme as would have used them instead.

Just had an air source heat pump fitted by GreenGen and can highly recommend the company- felt like they really went out of their way to make it run as smoothly as possible. Jordan and his colleagues, Dan and Finn, done the second stage of our air source heat pump installation. Back in the summer, Jordan was the lead electrician during the solar panel installation. Same as then, this time again, Jordan and his team's work was exceptional. Their professional knowledge and quality of their work was of the highest quality. Their attention to detail and to ensuring that the system not only works well but the work is also done neatly both in and outside the house exceeded our expectations. They arrived always on time and work tirelessly during the day with the aim to get the system up and running as quickly as possible. This was paired with their kind and polite way of communication. When the system was handed over to us, Jordan gave us a detailed walkthrough of it, explaining all the details, and answering all our questions. He made sure that we understand how the system works and that we are comfortable with operating it. We absolutely recommend them and GreenGenUK overall.

We have been so impressed with GreenGenUk from start to finish. From the moment the plumber, Ben E. and electricians Jorden & Fionn arrived at our property, they were proficient, professional, obliging, and very knowledgeable. We are extremely happy with the standard & quality of their work, which was completed slightly ahead of the estimation.

I cannot praise this company highly enough, proficient, able and professional in every way . To name the electrical engineer Daniel Zakk and Jack M. Bailey plumbing engineer, who headed the team as technically gifted to deal with any of the dynamics involved in installing our heat pump as highly recommended to deal with any project no matter the size . The company Green Gen should be on the top of everyone's list.

How do you choose a company? You read reviews. So please read this. We have been totally impressed with GreenGen from day one to now, completion. Their engineer Jack and his apprentice Archie have been excellent. Professional, friendly and have a great work ethic. Nothing was too much trouble. We will miss having them on site. We recommend 100% them and the company Greengen.

Great work from Jordan who installed our Eddi yesterday to maximise energy from our solar panels.and helped me reinstall WiFi connections to Ecodan, GE and myenergi. All work done by GreenGen has been excellent.

I've just had GreenGenUK to install solar panels on my west facing roof to compliment my existing east facing array, and to integrate this into the existing battery storage. I must say what an excellent job was done throughout the whole process. From the initial sales visit, the quotation, through the detailed survey, the scaffold, the panel fitting and the wiring exercise, at every stage each team performed professionally and efficiently. I can't recommend them enough, especially the electrical team of Mike and Fionn who deserve a special mention for their friendly and helpful manner, nothing was too much trouble. Just had my heat pump installed by very friendly helpful electricians/plumbers. They worked hard to overcome a problem that I had regarding the placement of the pump to find a solution that worked. After sales service has been excellent so far (a month after installation) when I have had some queries regarding both the plumbing and the electrics (not being a particularly tech type person). I would definitely recommend this company particularly the individuals with whom I have had contact.
