Jem Energy fitted my Solar and Battery a couple of years ago and I have to say that I was very impressed by the quality of their work and customer service. I recently had an issue with my Battery which Jem Energy immeditely fixed. Technology sometimes fails, it's what happens at these times that counts and I must say Jem Energy's customer service has been outstanding and appreciated.

I recently had solar panels and a battery system installed by Jem Energy. I was really pleased with the experience both during the order process and the fitting. The team of four who installed everything were friendly and professional, especially Ollie who also returned on the second day to complete the setup. No hesitation at all in recommending.

We had solar panels and a battery installed by Jem Energy a couple of years ago. The installation process was quick and efficient and we have been very pleased with the performance of the system. Recently we had a problem with the monitoring software due to a change of router (by BT). Jem have been very helpful in getting this sorted out and everything is now functioning well again.

I had solar panels fitted a few years ago and Jem Energy did a fantastic job, I recently had a leak in my house and I wasn’t sure if it was coming from my roof or cladding, either way I needed the solar panels removed, I contacted James and without hesitation he arranged to come over and see what he could do to help, I have an annoying conservatory in the way so I required scaffolding he arranged the scaffolders and went out of his way to help me to minimise my stress, when they removed the panels they found a birds nest so recommended bird mesh around the panels which I got, I am so pleased as the noise from the pigeons has massively reduced particularly in the mornings! I have had lots of bad experiences over the years and it’s so refreshing to deal with James and his team as they are all kind but also professional and knowledgeable, I have recommended them to a friend and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Jim installled a Zappi EV charger into my home and explained everything perfectly, even with the solar panels . Everything worked first time and has continued to do so. Now I charge with Octopus go 7p a unit. (Yippee) I then got him back to re do all my totally amateurish electrical extension efforts. Much raising of eyebrows quite understandably and my home is now safe and neat. His charges are more than reasonable, he’s a delight to be with and I can recommend him wholeheartedly. Philip Milln

From start to finish it’s been superb service. From the initial enquiry, to the survey, discussing options, receiving the quote, organising the installation, scaffold going up, last minute curve ball from me, installation and taking the scaffold down, it’s been seamless and run like clockwork. Quick to respond to queries, happy to explain the technology and supply a quality system that meets your needs. The team from JEM Energy give that bit extra that you want from all trades, but sadly miss at times, but these folks don’t disappoint. Fantastic company to work with from inception to completion. Georgina was always friendly, efficient and quick to respond to any calls, installers were clean, precise and very professional and we've been so impressed by the excellent customer care. Jem were recommended through a friend and my experience pre and post Solar and Battery installation has been amazing. After spending months and months researching and trying to find an installer I could trust, I would recommend Jem to everyone and looking back now, there is nothing I would change. James who is the owner is fab and answered all my questions. - Once we agreed the system, they applied for DNO and once that was approved, we were good for the install. - The install team on the ground were superb and got it all installed within around 7 hours and as an end user the quality of install was high and the panels were symmetrical on the roof - a must for us, needed to look great. - Post install the system is working better than expected and loving the generation. The paperwork has come through inside a week also. In summary: - Communication, quality of install and price point; all spot on. This being such a big purchase, if I had to do it all again, would definitely use and recommend Jem again (and I am picky :) ).... System installed: SolarEdge system

We used Jem energy, really pleased with our set up. The electrician who hooked it all up is so friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, just felt complete confidence in him so huge thanks to Ollie. We’ve had office support from Josh and Tony (there are others but we’ve not dealt with them personally, zero hesitations they’re also excellent!). Now we’re enjoying checking the app, seeing how the system is doing, and look forward to including a solar diverter soon too. Thanks everyone at Jem!

Jem did a great job installing Solar PV and battery. Was super easy to get a quotation and Josh clearly knew his products. Price-wise the quote was reasonable and certainly was not massively over inflated like some chancers currently in the market. Originally I opted to wait for an inverter to come into stock but this was delayed by the manufacturer. I changed my mind which was no problem and got an installation date booked. The install was quick and tidy and done in 1 day with Dan leading the roofing team and Olly and his apprentice on the electrics. There were a few minor niggles which were rectified with no quibbles within 48 hours. Scaffolding came down promptly after the install. Bulk of the paperwork including the all important MCS and building regs certificates arrived quickly and then DNO approval and the electrical installation certificate arrived within 4 weeks. All of my post-install questions were quickly answered by James (apologies for probably being annoying!). The system is working brilliantly, our grid usage has plummeted and we're getting a bit back on export. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting Solar PV and batteries 👌🏻

Very pleased. From initial contact for a quote (very competitive) for a PV and battery system, to booking the install, Josh was friendly and helpful, often responding to emails on the weekend and late evenings. After a frustrating wait for DNO G99 approval the install was booked in for 5 weeks later. Scaffold arrived on the Saturday and the team arrived on the Monday to do the install. All up and running by 13:00! Install team were professional and friendly. All documentation received on Friday. Only complaint I have is that the Sun has disappeared!

Jem are the people you need for Solar and Battery solutions - in summary! - in a little more detail: After a wide sweep of local suppliers the team at Jem provided the best information at a great price. Booking the install was also a pleasure - I wanted to book it some time in the future as other work was underway - Jem agreed to this but secured the equipment early to protect against price rises. I did make changes to timescales - and Jem just agreed. Installation was a smooth process - even though I decided on a change half way through as to the size of the feed cable etc (turns out I am a nightmare customer!) but the install team took in their stride and adapted the design in real time. Final solution is working really well. I can honestly say that of all the companies I have used during my recent projects that Jem have been the easiest and most helpful to work with. Thanks to the team!

Excellent service! Having waited almost 7 months for another firm to confirm a solar install date, after paying the deposit, I got in touch with Paul @ Jem Energy in November and he managed to squeeze an install date in for us, in December, 3/4 weeks after placing the order. All workers were polite tidy and helpful and plenty of information given to understand the new solar system installed - thank you!

Jem Energy have been fantastic from start to finish. From our first conversation to Georgina, then Josh's endless patience with us as we worked out what we needed, then working with James, James and Elliot during the installation. We had a huge building project to complete (a complete renovation of a 5-bed detached house), and the Jem team not only supported us with the ASHP but also on a range of other support we needed to complement our build (like advice on underfloor heating, rad sizes for each rooms, insulation levels etc). They also worked seamlessly with our builders, plumbers and electricians. We're pleased confirm that the house is very cosy already and we haven't even turned the heating right up yet. A pleasure dealing with this company from start to finish. Couldn't have hoped for a better team to do the job. James, John and Josh were all helpful, friendly, polite, honest and completed the work to a high standard. We had 8 solar PV panels installed and 2 batteries put in the loft. The guys worked very hard to get the job done in a day and we are really pleased with the results. James' communication was excellent and his enthusiasm is infectious. We had been thinking about 'going green' for a while and as our boiler was on its last legs so we decided to take advantage of the Government's Green Homes Grant scheme and upgrade to a new Air Source Heat Pump. We did our due diligence and received 3 quotations, one of those was from Jem Energy who we chose as our preferred installer as their price was reasonable, they weren't pushy and we felt they had the experience and knowledge to do the right job (we checked that they were Trustmark approved and MCS accredited which is needed to obtain the grant). There was a bit of a delay with the whole Green Homes Grant process but eventually received our £5,000 voucher which we used as part payment. Jem Energy then carried out a full heat survey of the home and installation followed a couple of weeks later. I have never had such a professional, thorough and hard working team of heating engineers in my house. They were very efficient and the job was all done in 3 days. The system has been in for about 3 weeks now and is keeping us nice and warm which is very comforting especially through one of the coldest weeks we've had in years. The running costs don't seem to be too bad either. From what we can tell, this system is no more expensive than our previous gas boiler and it's nice to know that we are doing our bit for the planet. I would highly recommend Jem Energy if you are considering moving to a low carbon heating system. Matt Reading

Living in Eastbourne, the sunniest town in the UK, it appeared sensible to invest in a solar water heating system. Our three-story house has a flat roof which seemed ideal until we discovered that we would invalidate the roof warranty if anything was fixed onto it. After a bit of research we came across Jem Energy. James, the owner, was quick to visit our home and explain the technology as well as survey our current heating system. He was not a pushy salesman, just an intelligent and articulate professional who was clearly enthusiastic about the technology. We agreed the price (which was similar to a solar water system) and 7 days later two engineers arrived to install it. Both were highly professional explaining what the were doing and how it all worked. They took a day to install and commission the system which immediately went to work producing hot water from thin air! We are truly amazed that our boiler no longer needs to heat our water and that two flat panels on the side of our house now do so silently. This technology must be the future for all home-owners and Jem and the team behind it should be your first choice of suppliers and installers. Thanks, Steve & Marcus

We are building a new house in Chalfont St. Peter and from the outset knew that renewables were important to us. For each technology, i judged the merits on the following criteria: 1. Capital outlay, return on Investment and payback period 2. Proven technology 3. Aesthetics 4. Supplier knowledge – from sales to installers 5. The guarantee, lifespan and running costs 6. Communication/co-ordination and flexibility with on-site team. I was really impressed with the collective JEM team, from sales to completing installation. The team were all super knowledgeable. My main contractor and my project manager were also very impressed with the team and my main contractor mentioned “… in all the renewables he has encountered, the efficiency and return of the thermal hot water system was certainly the best he has seen… “. Thank you again and highly recommended.

We wanted a thermodynamic water heating system to help reduce our energy bills and our hot water tank was looking a bit worse for wear (it was 30 years old!). So we chose this renewable technology which had been recommend to us by a friend of ours who says it's working fantastically! We did our due diligence and put our faith in Jem Energy. They were not pushy at all and gave us all the information and a good understanding of how the system could benefit us. We went with the double panel system and the cost was extremely competitive, they also included the new hot water tank and were still better priced compared to the others. A team of 3 came down a couple of weeks later and were really nice guys... clean, tidy and polite! They were all done and dusted in one day. I couldn't be happier and with the work completed and the company that did it. I'd highly recommend Jem energy to anyone looking to help keep the bills down. We have three teenage boys and our hot water usage was getting out of control! It's been in now since November last year and we've haven't run out of hot water yet. Amazing
