I had a new fusebox and some sockets fitted by Alps Electrical. They are an excellent local business providing top-quality workmanship. Arrived on time, did the work that was asked for the price that was quoted and cleaned up after they were done.

Andy carefully assessed what was possible at my home & gave a suitable proposal. The two men who worked on the installation were efficient, tidy & pleasant, despite it being very cold at the time. The scaffolding was erected & removed quickly. The admin side of things is supportive & Bella is on hand with queries. Even in January the panels are generating electricity & so I look forward to them working even better when the longer warmer days arrive. Thank you.

What an amazing service! Everything from discussing my needs over the phone, receiving an extremely good quote to getting a slot for installation the very next day!! The installation of the EV point is excellent, the guys doing the work were polite, helpful and obviously highly skilled as the workmanship is on point!! Absolutely delighted with Alps Electrical. From getting the quotes to getting the rcb board changed everything has been great. I literally can't express how impressed I am. Spoke to Andy and he gave us good advice on the issue we were having and Isabelle was really helpful when I spoke to her. The quotes we received by email were very detailed and easy to understand. Andy and Bella, the owners, run a truly impressive family business. Bella in particular seems to be the chief of staff — always checking in, making sure everything’s running smoothly, and genuinely caring that the job is done right. Her communication was spot-on throughout, and her warmth made the whole process feel personal and reassuring. I chose Alps over several larger nationwide companies, many of which had inflated prices and felt impersonal. Going local to Darlington was absolutely the right call. I trusted my gut instinct, and I wasn’t disappointed. Bradley and Leon, the solar, battery, and inverter fitters, were top class — professional, tidy, and clearly proud of their work. The scaffolding went up quickly, the install was neat and efficient, and the whole system was up and running without a hitch. Great value, great people, and a great result. Family-run, honest, and genuinely one of the best-reviewed companies I’ve come across — and now I know why. No regrets whatsoever. Highly recommended. Very professional company. Initial advice and site visit before installation was very informative and helped with selecting specification of system. Very good communications before and during the installation. Installation team were great, on time and tidied up after each day. Installation standard very high. Chose Sigenergy system with battery and gateway together with 12 solar panels, all working and generating as expected. Would recommend Alps Electrical without reservation.

From enquiry through to quotation and final job completion for the installation of solar panels and battery storage, I have absolutely nothing but praise. I'd been researching solar and battery systems for around a year, most of which was done watching YouTube videos. That's where I found Alps Electrical and Andy's informative movies. It's the first time YouTube advertising worked for me. I contacted them and Bella helped with all the questions and promptly responded to everything I needed to know. We agreed on the size and price of the system, and two weeks later, an installation date was set. Despite the cold weather at the time the install was done in 3 days. Very, very impressed with the professionalism of Alps. Highest recommendations!

We got 20 solar panels fitted on our roof. From the day I made the call, both Andy and Bella were on the job. Bella handled the documentation side and was extremely efficient. Andy and his team did the technical job and completed the job excellently. I cannot thank them enough. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Andy, Leo and Bella make an excellent team. Changes in installation rules and bureaucracy of energy supplier made for a delayed start on the job but once underway it was completed in a couple of days. Polite, pleasant. knowledgeable and competent. The neatness of the installation has been admired by all who have taken an interest and looked at it. Post-installation queries have been quickly handled and resolved. In the month since 'switch on' less than 1% of our electricity has come from the grid!
