Did my dad Bill's installation. He said they were efficient, friendly and left everything tidy. Listened to what he wanted and accommodated it as much as they could and explained why not if they couldn't, like distance from pipes etc. The battery and inverter were packed in neatly and tidily, especially impressed with neatness of the wiring. The app is incredibly user friendly

Throughout the whole process the team at Skylar listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, informed me how everything works and what would likely be suitable for my property and needs. Living in a Grade II listed property with 2 heat pumps isn't the norm but they made it feel like it was, working with me and the limitations of what they could do/where. Every single team member I've spoken to has been nothing but polite and helpful. In addition to the office contacts, I've the number of both Andy (sales) and Rob (one of the electricians who did my install) in case of any issues or if I need help figuring something out. Hopefully I never need that but knowing that level of customer service and support is there is what cements the decision I made to use Skylar as the right one. Highly recommended.

I had my install on the 14th of January. 21x510w AIKO all black panel 15kW Three-Phase SIGenergy Inverter 2x9kWh SIGenergy Battery (18kWh Total) The engineers were extremely knowledgeable, working clean and diligently. The two-day work planned been finished for a day. I am very happy with the installation and would highly recommend it if you are still making up your mind.

At every stage of the process… from initial consultation through to completed install, the way I was treated and supported was above my best expectations. Given the choices to be made and the complexity of those choices… I would give Skylar Solar 10/10 for everything that they did. Highly recommend them for all your solar and battery needs. System is exactly what I need and works 100% - perfect!

Thank you Skylar Solar We had our 19 510W panels, Sigenergy 18KWH battery and EV charger installed 4 months ago by Skylar. Even though we are 300 miles north the install and engineer folllow up were performed flawlessly. We are very impressed with the system, especially since moving to a time-of-use plan and SEG payments :-) with the Sigen AI controlling this. Thoroughly recommended.

We had our solar panels, battery and EV charger put in during November and the team really came together to get a fantastic result. They came up with a design which meets our needs exactly, our bills have now halved, and it’s still winter! Excellent communication, and no hard sell, just a conversation of the pros and cons of different approaches. The survey and installation was quick and professional. They worked with us to have the scaffolding available to let us clean the roof prior to installation and it was quick to come down too. The installation work was done to a high standard and very neat. They worked with us to solve problems as they came up, and made sure we were happy with the solution before proceeding, and no snags! Overall a pleasure to work with, and I have recommended them to my work colleagues who have already started work on their house!

20 x 480 Aiko E, S & W. 2 x 9.0 kWh Sigenstor Battery 1 Gateway (optional for back up etc.) Installed 3 weeks ago in South Wales. Really pleased with Skylar from start to finish. Lots of sense from Sinead the designer. Full site survey with drone by Ant who later came back to install the panels. 2 experienced electrians, Luke and James did the rest and have been with Skylar for a good few years. Sigenergy kit is fantastic, as were Skylar - just look at Gary does Solar on YouTube. No payments until completion . Hand over of all paperwork from Devon/ Payton went seamlessly. Wrong birdmesh and flat roof mounting system delivered on the day, but correct items were on site within a couple of hours. I'm surprised how easy the App is to use. System covers my 18kWh daily use. Had 3 quotes - Skylar slightly cheaper. Thoroughly recommended!

À great company to work with from start to the completion of our installation. We had done lots of research and obtained 4 quotes Skylar offered the best package of high quality products and support services for a very competitive price. Communications throughout have been excellent the timing of the surveyor, scaffolding and installation has been superb. All employees and associates arrived on time worked very efficiently safely and were really good guys. Bookings of events throughout were really smooth and the installation of panels and the sigenergy batteries look fantastic we couldn’t be happier. It’s always a worry spending large sums in à sector that’s still evolving but the team have done everything they said all required documentation have been sent on time. Although it’s late autumn we’ve generated KWH and seen the App show us usage. Unfortunately the sigenergy battery system is not yet compatible with octopus intelligent flux tariffs we can align to octopus flux. All in all à great experience and we would highly recommend the team at Skylar call them and you won’t be disappointed.

I chose Skylar Solar after seeing their work on a youtube channel called "Gary Does Solar" and then when I asked them to quote from Garys directory. From the very start they were brilliant, no confusing nonsense and a very clear quotation. From the sales and logistics, the scaffold, the install and the handover, everything was incredibly smooth. The installation was so neat and tidy, the installers were knowledgable and very helpful even when I asked the daftest of questions. The SiGenergy inverter and battery system is a breeze to use, the panels look great and the loft work very tidy. As soon as the handover was complete, all of the paperwork I needed was there and within 10 mins I had used it to jump to an appropriate tarriff with my electricity supplier. If you want solar but are being confused by other suppliers I highly reccomend giving Skylar a call. Fantastic team.

My cousin recommended them. Skylar, after looking at my property, suggested 14 panels, 18kw batteries, 8kw inverter and I requested a gateway and optimisers. George was very helpful and convinced me to go with them. Neatly fitted and all done in a day. Responded promptly to queries after install and I would recommended them.

Really good experience from start to finish. Having started to research solar and battery for my house I came across Skylar Solar as a recommendation from Gary Does Solar as I wanted a company who I could trust not only with the design and install, but also for any on-going support I may need. Below is the process I experienced. I had a follow-up call with Sinead after completing the enquiry form on Gary’s UK Solar Installer Directory. We discussed the design and Sinead provided a number of configurations for me to consider. After a few iterations and a lot of questions from me, we agreed on a design and confirmed the survey. Ant from the Skylar Team completed the survey (physical and drone inspection). We also discussed the location for the battery storage and what would be involved from the install. Sinead came back to me with an improved design the same afternoon, which I approved and a few days later Devon from the installations team contacted me to confirm the install date, followed by Payton to confirm the installation of the scaffolding. Fast forward to the install date: Scaffolding had been erected a few days prior. The equipment was delivered first thing in the morning, which was then checked by Ant and James before starting the install. It took about 1.5 days in total, from install start to commissioning the system. Post commission, James ran me through the Sigenergy app and explained the key areas of the system for isolation etc. The next day I had a follow up call from Devon to check the install and if I had any queries / concerns. I was happy to say that I didn’t have any concerns and was very impressed with the install / attitude from both Ant and James. Following confirmation of payment, Payton provided me with the handover pack containing all the key documents (MCS Certification, G99 Approval, Warranty details and equipment datasheets). Now nearly 3 weeks after commission, we have a solar and battery system which is working as designed and are more than happy with. From our initial contact through to install and now post-commission, we have been impressed with the Skylar Solar team and even though we are based in the South West, nothing was too much trouble – thank you Skylar Solar.

From my first contact with Sinaed, and then with Payton, everything has been great. They gave me all the information I requested, I received a remarkably quick quotation, with a photo of my roof showing the number of panels requested. Happy with the price and the surveyor was great. Showed me where the battery and inverter would go, and where all the cables would go.Friday before last the scaffolding was erected by great guys who were very quick, neat and tidy. Monday last week the installation was made and tested. Answered more of my questions and were off. Every thing great. Monday after , scaffold taken down. So happy I found Skylar, and with all the warranties in place, I am one happy bunny, and didn’t pay a penny until the day after, once I was happy. Would highly recommend SKYLAR SOLAR from start to finish.

Five stars from me! Skylar we're brilliant from start to finish. The sales process was clear and everything was explained clearly to the right level of detail. They were really helpful working with my builders to coordinate the installation completion in a timely manner. The panel installer and electrician were so diligent in their efforts and clearly took great pride in their work. And the scaffolders were excellent too. The team in the office are also great, responding swiftly and knowledgeably to any questions or issues. Trying to find decent solar installers is a minefield. I was very fortunate that Skylar we're recommended to me by a friend and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Excellent service and installation. Everything was all done in less than a month; including public holiday. The team was excellent, everyone including front office and back office. Andy Martin was very patient and very supportive providing lots of explanations and different designs to meet our requirements. The weather was very bad on the installation day. Rob and Lewis did an excellent job. Special thanks to Rob for all the dedication and hard work. Working long hours and taking care of our home. G99 was approved and we only have to do one payment (The full payment upon completion ). Once paid we have the approved G99, MCS certificate and all documents sorted. Everything was good and home taken good care. Kudus to Skylar Solar team!

If you want a professional friendly company to do your solar installation you're in good hands with Skylar Solar. Sinead has to be the most patient sales person ever - changing designs and prices to meet my requirements. The payback calculations were easy to understand, the pricing was clear and competitive and the contract straight forward. Payton and the team were awesome - arranging a pre install survey, and scaffolding / installation dates that worked. Communication was brilliant - everyone at Skylar Solar has been a pleasure to deal with. Installation was over two days in early June - scaffolding went up and down on the agreed dates and Ant and James were consumate professionals who made a 24 panel install in variable weather run like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble - their work ethic and skill was awesome and I cannot praise these guys enough. Post installation billing was quick and a really helpful handover pack was sent over containing all the paperwork needed to enable connection to the Grid together with warranties and insurance. The system works like a dream and is easily controlled by an intuitive app. If you think a solar battery is just a solar battery wait until you see a Sigenstor - these things are a work of art. I know people can be sceptical about reviews but if you're in the market for a solar install I would put Skylar Solar at the top of the list. Finally a quick tip - if you have a mortgage with one of the high street banks some of them are giving cash grants for solar installs so worth seeing if yours is in the scheme.

Skylar Solar installed our panels and battery over a week ago and it's been great. They gave a very competitive quote and were always very helpful but never pushy. Thanks to Sinéad, Lewis and Payton in the office and a big shout out to Dan and Lewis who carried out the install. Dan did a brilliant job with the cabling which far exceeded my expectations especially considering the location of the battery and the consumer unit.

Skylar are such a pleasure to deal with from the initial phone call to the after care post install. The installers went into great care to give the cleanest possible install and were in no hurry to leave until it was all done perfectly. We went for the Sigenergy system for our business which I would highly recommend. There are cheaper systems which they also fit but this one is one of the best for safety and tech and the quote from Skylar made it very competitive. They are experts in all systems though so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Devon and Payton are amazing with their customer service and held my hand every step of the way.

After getting so many quotes from another installers I pick Skylar Solar. Because they offered one of the best offers for a large system with 610 and 460 panels. ( just to say none of the offers if final and its always room to negotiate :) ) Salesperson Andy was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The installers were very friendly and helpful. They work extremely hard to push 2 days job in one day. I definitely would recommend them, because not unlike local installers they will go for the G99 application and even suggested putting in the contract that if they won't manage to get a minimum export they are happy to cancel the contract without any charges. They won't take any deposit until the job is done and I'm happy with the installation. They are not perfect. They left small rubbish around as they worked. Like clips and mesh cut-offs, but they in my opinion at least one of the better installers. They did everything I asked them and more. Just HIES insurance was sent under “Staybright Energy LTD“ the company name, not Skylar Solar.
