AVOID at all costs

AVOID at all costs. I had raised an issue with them with regards to their work. 6 months later I am still awaiting a response pushing it from one customer service agent to another. By this point they stopped signing off their emails with a name! Raised it with a regulatory body. Everyone should do this same.

Stay clear from this company, the 5 star reviews are concerning and alarming! NAPID has suspended their license and will confirm this if you contact them regarding your complaint. This company has ruined my house, extremely poor quality of work, damaged to property.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will use incompetent tradesmen, damage your home, not tell you about damage caused, take short cuts, pretend to do work and take fake pictures, make false promises and leave you with problems you never had before. They will not attend to fix these issues they have caused

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company, total cowboys. Had a survey done back in November 2024 to get roof done via Gov scheme and was approved, only then to be told after chasing that the funds had run out. Told to try again in 2025. So in march/April I tried and once again was approved after survey, after months of chasing, they sent someone round twice to check ventilation, only to be told they could not do the work that had been done on over 200 other houses, because they could not put a vent in my kitchen, something that none of the 200 other houses have had done. What a joke and waste of my time. This company needs to be checked that they are not receiving funds falsely.

Horrible insulation DO NOT get it done by them they have a rubbish job and ruined my home, they don't listen to customers and do what they want, the people that did the insulation took ages to respond and were unprofessional they cut the insulation foam without measuring, they did not put ant protective film to prevent any paint splatting and we had to clean the paint splat scraping for weeks on the pathway, the windows and the back garden. They cut my front alarm off had to replace with a new one put my own money, they also moved my satellite dish and my roof slates which is now leaking everywhere, the window sillt boards which we specifically asked for brown gave us white and just put them on without even tilting them this has now resulted in my windows receiving rain/water splash and I cannot see anything outside, they have also put air vents without screws and my bathroom fan has been cut out and they put a small one , the insulation is horrible and poor the house feels much colder and I can feel cold air from my rooms, they have done a disgusting job there are all holes ans gaps everywhere and looks like they didn't care about customer services. This company is bad they don't even reply and lie about coming to fix it has been several months and still waiting, almost 5 or more people have came and said the same thing and nothing has happened. poor job.

I would give them a 0* if that was a thing. They started work in February 2024, which didn’t finish until Feb 2025 and then every few weeks after, they would come back and say there’s something else we need to do. The laws and regulations have changed. They came back a year and a half later to do more work. Still not finished.

Several months after work..loads of rubbish left behind.. no service manual ir warranty for work done.. proper cowboy outfit

The work was done to my neighbours…

The work was done to my neighbours property which and looks of poor quality. The work ‘completed’ has caused damage to mine. The work was started in December and I am still trying to get a response to fix the damage they have caused. They left a mess in mine and other neighbours gardens, had scaffolding up for 3 months.They have been unresponsive and have not turned up to fix MY property. I will be reporting this to trading standards.

Golden Globe Merchants Ltd are the worst company ever that you could hire for your home insulation. They ruined our house completely it was a disaster hiring them from start to finish. I would not recommend this company to people at all. They don’t listen to the customer and respect their wishes at all. They are so strict and adamant. They ruined our driveway and also the roof. very unprofessional people.

I recently had my house insulated in Leicester by Golden globe. Very professional polite and trained team and cooperative staff. Got the left over rubbish collected even the next day and listened to my concerns and guided me as well. Definitely recommended and much appreciated.

I have had these cow boy builders at my property for over a month the did not give a crap about the mess they make the stress they caused me was unreal they did not connect the pipe work and all my living room ceiling has leaked through and caused mass abouts of damage I have proof and they are saying my ceiling was already damaged am taking them to court I will not be having them in my property ever again please avoid them they tell you so many lies it’s unreal.

Fantastic service from start to finish. After our initial meeting with Mr Cockerill he kept us up to speed throughout the whole process. Measurements were taken for our flat roof, he went away and informed us the work would start in approx 4 weeks, it did! Fantastic job by the team who kept the site tidy (including the communal stairs). They put long hours in to get the job done which they did to a very high standard in about 4 days. Would highly recommend!

Dealt with Mr Rashid for Solid external wall insulation and boiler change which was completed in time agreed in Leicester. All done perfectly and to an A grade standard. The guttering and gas lines were all moved and placed correctly and perfectly. Mr Rashid the manager was very approachable, polite, understandable and delivered on everything I asked. Would recommend golden globe to everyone. Outstanding service. Thank you
