For our new build Daly Renewables was involved from the very start and they were even involved to the extent where their advice modified our architects design. It was a big task that we took on, doing a lot of the work ourselves taking down an old property in order to build a well insulated, underfloor heated, ground source house with solar panels, a heat recovery and a vacuum system. We knew from the start that having too many different companies involved would be a disaster. We wanted to take time and do a good job and wanted the support and advice from someone who we didn’t have to chase for a response. Ryan and his team cannot be faulted for always being contactable and supportive. Gerard who works with Ryan is a great plumber and did a fantastic job of fitting out our entire house from ground source pipework in the field, to the underfloor heating, the heat recovery system, the plumbing of the bathrooms and the heated towel rails. The house is now very warm, has plenty of hot water and is easy to heat. Its been a long road and it would be unfair to say there was not a few ups and downs along the way but ultimately we could not have done it without their help!

We were very impressed with Daly renewables. We got them involved in our self build at an early stage and they were brilliant throughout. Ryan developed a design with his high level of expertise which incorporated an air source heat pump and underfloor heating on g floor and 1st floor. The team were very efficient at carrying out the work on site and was always done to a high standard. The big thing for me was that, they came to site when required and always meet key project dates. I found Daly renewables really easy to work with and very approachable with any queries. Thanks to them, we now have a real cosy new home.

We first met Ryan at the Belfast self-build show and once we were ready to start our build began working with Daly Renewables on a heating/plumbing system for our new home. Ryan took us through the various options regarding heat sources, ventilation and underfloor heating. Once all was good to go they had everything efficiently installed along with the domestic plumbing. Any minor issues have been quickly rectified and we are well pleased with our heating system especially with the current cost of oil and gas. It was definitely the right choice.

Contacted Ryan last year to replace our 13 year old air source heat pump which had been giving us significant problems. The whole process from assessment to ordering to installation took around 5 weeks and was professional progressed. We have just finished first full winter with the new system in and our electricity usage has halved overnight and reduced by 40% during the day with overall electric costs down a massive 40 percentage cent compared to average of last ten years - roughly £350 savings over 3 months. Couldn’t be happier with the result and would throughly recommend Daly Renewables and their Hitachi Air source product for those looking for cost savings and to be more environmentally friendly.

The team at Daly's were excellent. We dealt with Ryan himself in planning our heating an ventilation system. Other suppliers felt like hard sells but Ryan gave us a custom spec for our house so we got exactly what we needed (GSHP, MVHR and UFH). We done a self build and Daly's were very helpful in providing exact specs and communicated well with other tradesmen working on our build. The installation was flawless and our house is toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer (thanks for advising us on the underfloor cooling option). Follow up service has been excellent for any minor issues. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Just had our installation completed. Daly Renewables were recommended to us by a friend and they installed our ASHP, UFH & MVHR systems. I've wanted to build my own house since my late teens and part of that has always been to make the house as self sustainable as possible. This obviously includes making the heating system as energy efficient as possible and although there are environmental benefits to it; I simply hate waste and the costs associated with it. Fast forward 20+ years and I'm finally in a position to build my dream house and incorporate the energy efficient ideas I've been interested in. The problem is there are a lot of different technologies out there and lots of different ideas on what's best to use- and I'm and engineer so I'm not frightened about delving into the detail but even I was flummoxed at times. I realised that I needed some expertise and after speaking to a number of companies Daly Renewable Energy Systems were the ones that really impressed. From the very beginning Ryan's approach was simple, straightforward and incorporated enough different elements to make the system efficient without making it over complicated. I was provided with all the technical information and calculations necessary to convince me to go with the proposed system and Ryan spent time going through the different elements until I was satisfied with what we were doing. Installing any type of renewable heating system is an investment which may put some people off in the beginning but just to put it into context - we have built a house that is nearly 4 times larger than our previous one and the energy bill is 10% less than what we were paying using a conventional heating system in a much smaller house!!! Therefore, the initial investment will pay for itself in a short number of years. Ryan's customer service has also been excellent even after we moved in with tweaks and changes to match how we live in the house in order to get the best out of the heating system. I couldn't recommend them enough 👍

Daly Renewables installed Solar Hot Water, Solar Panels and Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery into our new build house. They are very personable, professional, careful workers, know what they are talking about and are very patient at explaining things. I wish I'd used them for more things and I'd absolutely recommend them. A few months after everything was installed Ryan called round just to make sure everything was going ok. Very nice touch.

Professional, competent, efficient and reliable company. I engaged with Daly renewables at foundation stage in my build in order to ensure the all equipment was installed at the correct stages. It is now running a year and am very happy with the heat pump and MHRV system.

We had received some direct sales calls from companies offering very lucrative incentives for installing Solar PV Panels and these were followed up with one particular company calling to survey the house. They focused primarily on the financial benefits of the system and the technical aspect of whether the site was suitable for a PV System was virtually neglected. We knew Ryan had been involved in Renewables for some time and we asked him to come out and offer his opinion. He immediately advised that a Solar PV System would not be suitable for our property due to (a) the design of the roof (b) the orientation of the roof and (c) due to significant shading issues from the nearby trees in the public park next to us. We could sense straight off from Ryan that he would not be willing to propose a system which would not perform to it’s maximum efficiency and we really appreciated his engineering expertise and honest opinion. He did advise us to upgrade our heating controls to smart heating controls as we are away from home fairly often and he also advised linking the combi boiler into the existing shower in our main Bathroom, instead of using an Electrical Shower, which can be costly to run. Overall we were very impressed with his diligent nature and with the attention to detail and speedy service offered by his company and if we were to build a new home from the outset, we would definitely involve him at an early stage.
