We bought a house with solar panels installed that came with no paperwork. When I discovered that they had been installed by RG Installations 11 years prior, I reached out, not really expecting a reply, but they did and were so helpful, providing me with an MCS certificate and explaining all about the panels. They took the time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend.

Outstanding service, really helpful. no pressure of sale. happy to even talk me through other quotes. No business does that. Richard and Gary are fantastic. sorted out my consumer unit, fixed a fault and installed the solar system. it works amazing and has far out performed itself this year. my only regret is not having RGI round sooner. thank you both wont go anywhere else for electrical work again highly recommend.

We had need of a new Inverter after 9 years. Our previous installer was no longer trading, so we were pointed to some local suppliers in the South Woodham Ferrers area. Lucky for us, we chose RG Installations. They were very professional and the new Inverter did not take long to install. We also had a new Solar Boost unit installed as our old one was not working. We had an initial hick up with the new unit, but Richard from RG Installations was responsive and sorted it out for us very quickly. All in all an excellent company to work with.

Very good installation, happy with the product. Glad I chose this firm. Very helpful and supportive after service help and advice. Always on hand to answer questions. I was nervous about having solar panels but I’m very glad I did and chose this firm. They weren’t pushy and did all they could to accommodate me and addressed all my concerns. All went very smoothly and the panels look nice too.

Expert friendly Service

We acquired solar panels after moving home. We were novices as we had never researched the product and was told they only had a 10 year life span which had passed. They packed up last month. Ringing around Richard and Gary were the only company to offer genuine help. Our inverter apparently had packed up and its this that had the 10 year life span ,the panels last longer. A new Inverter was installed by them and we are now up and running. Gary fully informed us of how to get the best out of the panels for which we are grateful and set up our monitor. We cannot recommend them enough they are both Knowledgeable very professional and friendly. Thank you Richard and Gary

RGI - Awesome Service

RG Installations Wrapped up in three words. Personal, Simple, Brilliant. I’ll reflect why I have chosen these words below My solar journey stared in august carrying out extensive research and ringing many large company's and having many hours spent with sales reps having various equipment forced upon me. My experience up until meeting Richard and Gary from RG Installations was some what dreadful. I come across RGI’s details online and being a small independent company I thought I would give them a call. I first spoke with Richard and he asked how he could help me. I enquired about solar and having done some research I discussed over the phone what I thought I would require. Richard then arranged to attend my property and arrived dead on the agreed time. Richard was ver kind, courteous and professional from the moment I met him as is Gary. Richard discussed our needs for our own lives and how we use our energy and went away and sent me over a fantastic document. Richard planned a solar system for our home that suited the property and its location very well. The pre I’ve we received was very competitive as well in fact it was excellent. I spent a few weeks waiting for other quotes I even rang Richard and asked him all sorts of questions. Richard never ever once forced any sales tactics on me however when asked he was extremely knowledgable in the world of salt and the latest technology. We decided to go ahead with RGI and they started the install before Christmas. Richard pre warned me that they are having a break over Christmas to which I agree is fine with us. Richard and Gary arrived at the time they said on the day they said to do the install. Now. I’m a miserable picky customer however I honestly can not fault their craftsmanship. I went up to look at the install as it progressed and it is beyond perfect. Even the bits you can’t see are beyond perfect. All cables are ran in conduit and clipped correctly. No loose wires or anything untidy at all. The inverter and battery installation is extremely neat and tidy. Richard kept in touch with me over the Christmas break wish our family well and kept me updated at all times of when they will be back and what the next stage was. Gary installed the inverter. Gary also changed our consumer unit while he was here. He upgraded the earths to my water pipe and gas mains and again it’s all extremely neat. Gary’s knowledge is fantastic. I am again likely a nightmare customer asking all sorts and looking over his shoulder however gary was very very happy to explain everything. I have a little boy running round and Gary was extremely aware and cautious to where everything was and just thought about absolutely everything all the time. The installation went very well, very quickly and with out any issues at all. No issues with suppliers. No issues with the install it was all perfect. Come the day Gary turned the system on and it has ran perfectly. Now I have a 3.2KW system. So I would expect the system to put out say a max of 3KW as I’m allowing a small loss through the inverter however it does now. I’ve seen 3.6KW. The battery charges itself very fast. The system is fantastic. Today, April 17th. The systems has topped up my car, ran my house. My wife is here all day and I also work from home. Our usage is heigh. Looking at my smart meter and various other items I have to track cost I’ve used a grand total of 71 pence. This is including my 45 pence standing charge. The system far exceeds what I thought was possible and is even better than what Richard first told me it would be however the documents you should be presented with is highly regulated so you as a customer should not be miss informed. There has been no issues to date. Everting was demonstrated working and I was shown how to programs the inverter to charge the battery overnight should the weather be bad to make the most of my electric tariff. Everything is taken into account with RGI. The system has more than halved my electric bills already and that’s only 3 months of mainly poor weather. RGI’s customer service is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. There is still after sales/install support and being a pain of a customer I’ve rang Richard a couple of times when I have been programming my inverter to charge the battery overnight when the weather has been poor to ask some questions. Nothing is still too much trouble. Most company's are not Interested once they have your money but not RGI. They are still the same before I had given t them a penny. I will now never use any one else for anything electrical in my home. There really is no need. RGI are in my eyes one of the best if not the best customer friendly and honest company’s out there. Superb service and one of the best around. Thank you so much RGI. We could honestly not be happier.
