Very easy to deal with this company.

Very easy to deal with this company. They extracted old cavity wall insulation and added new all done very professionally. Also topped up my roof insulation. All done with due care and attention very pleased customer.

Work was complete on time

As a retired construction site manager, I have used Insta for many years (20+ years) on the new build sites that I managed so when we purchased a house that required roof insulation, I natrually contacted Insta Group, the job was priced competitivly & the work was completed to my satisfation on time & without delay Would recommended

I recently had my boiler serviced and my hot water tank relocated, and the installers were fantastic. They were friendly, hardworking, and offered great advice on how to reduce my energy bills. I’m now looking into adding solar and battery storage as my next step. Thanks, InstaGroup!

Surveyor was on time very helpful and explained the work that was needed and took me through the costs etc. Actual installation was done last week and again installer turned up on time, went through the work that was to be undertaken and then shared photos of the completed work. Would recommend.

The installation was very rushed and slapdash

The installation was very rushed and overall pretty slapdash. Also left quite a lot of bits of insulation on the stairs/landings for us to hoover up afterwards, and pick up from the street outside the house. Ultimately very expensive for what it was, but part funded by a rebate. Even with that, it left me wishing I’d just done it myself.

Excellent trustworthy company

We cannot fault this company from the survey, solar panel installation to battery commission. Everyone we dealt with was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Even the scaffolders were careful of all our plants. The director Ed Andrews ensured everything ran smoothly and was available for any concerns; we felt in safe hands. We honestly cannot rate them highly enough, excellent company.

If you're receiving a funded/free service, DO NOT USE INSTAGROUP - An absolutely appalling level of service. Insta installed a Worcester boiler for my elderly parents, and ever since, trying to book even a basic service has been a nightmare. It feels like the entire company relies on a single engineer. This same engineer serviced the boiler around six months ago. When issues arose again recently, we were told the problem was with the heat pump, not the boiler. Rather than clearly stating they didn’t want to handle the job, they claimed they’d send a quote. It took three weeks—and multiple calls from my 81-year-old father—before anything arrived. When the quote finally came through by post, my father (and elderly mother who hadn't had any heating or hot water during this time) called to approve the work, only to be told by Insta that they would never send quotes by post and were, in fact, passing the job onto another company. The company we were referred to had no idea what work was needed and no background information at all. The owners should be ashamed of what this company has become. Furthermore I will be reporting them to the energy ombudsman.

After five vists to the house with a promise of home insulation no work done .Please dont use this company folks.You will regret it .Peter doesnt know what Pauls done on phone so to speak ,, the poor work lads who come to work on the house get played on too.

My survey was carried out by chartered Surveyor Mr Garry Low ,very pleasant experienced man,carried out his work very thuraly and explained everything as we went along,Garry told me he was more than sure I had a gas leak at my boiler he assisted me in contacting transco ,who attended well within 1hour ,Garry was spot on boiler fixed quickly,thank you Garry. After work whitch took Garry good few hours,it’s time for surveyor to go ,if the installation is as good as his survey I can’t wait.thanks again to Garry Low

I had two companies come round before. They both booked a date for the workers to come round. When they turned up the workers said they couldn't do the work. INSTAGROUP Workers turned up. No problem Sir, Job Done. Cleaned Up. All Done.

Excellent customer service

I found the customer service of InstaGroup just excellent. I needed my loft insulated however I was battling to get a leak in my roof fixed by my management company for almost a year which meant that I had to reschedule the insulation a number of times. Instagroup did this without any hesitation and were incredibly kind and understanting. The quality of the work is also really good and overall I couldn't be more happy.

The booking process was friendly, easy and efficient. The installers arrived when they said they would and the installation has been done to a good standard. The first day only consisted of only 3 hours as they had insufficient materials. I would have expected something to be put down on the stairs to protect the carpet and the mess was not cleaned up but told "you might want to run a hoover round". The job was completed on the second day although one of the installers was looking at his phone a lot of the time even when engaging with me. Overall not unhappy with the work but Interpersonal skills could have been better and the teams should be sent out with a hoover.

Great job - Solar panels on my bungalow.

I am 90 years old and Insta have just installed Solar panels on my bungalow. I cannot speak highly enough of the people on site and how polite and efficient they were. All installed and up and running in the same day with a minimum of fuss and no mess. Thankyou

InstaGroup installed solar PV at our house in November. It was a great experience from start to finish and they were really knowledgeable and professional throughout. We are really pleased with our solar PV system.

Cavity Wall Insulation

Pleased with every aspect of the wall cavity insulation. Surveyor was professional, quote the cheapest of three we had received. Installer was prompt, quick and left everything tidy. Hoping for some lower gas bills now!

Had wall insulation done, hit and miss House has been cold ever since. Tred to get it re done they don't do it. Be careful. Don't use them.

BEWARE of Instagroup, they take deposits and then don't complete the work, they lied about getting the work done and kept delaying. My property is littered with holes and damage due to their multiple surveys. Lost out on £10000 green grant. They have not been responsive and rude when questioned about the installation dates.

I was approved for a home insulation grant with this company and was informed they will be coming out to do a survey after no contact from them I chased the progress only to be told that they are too busy now and have no record of me LIAR'S

Signed up with instagroup via the green homes grant offered by wokingham BC to install cavity wall insulation. The guys on the phones were knowledgable and helpful, the surveyor knew what he was doing and was friendly, the installer was friendly and profesional it Could not have gone smoother. A sign of a good experience was that I hardly noticed the thing from start to finish it just got done and now our home is warmer, I am looking forward to the reduced gas bills in the future

An OK service until on my first years inspection by an Independent Service Engineer the new boiler was found to be missing/lacking the Calmeg to neutralise the PH levels from the condensate pipe, such as limestone chipping and I have been emailing trying arrange for the additional corrective work to be carried out since November last year and even though I have also written to one of the Directors I have heard nothing! Not great after sales service - in fact NONE.
