AES designed and implemented my heat pump and quite complex UFH system a few years ago, and is still servicing it. They have been truly professional from start to finish (and ongoing) and I warmly recommend them to anyone looking for peace of mind.

Our air source heat pump was serviced recently, and Colin did an excellent job. He worked efficiently and clearly knew his stuff. He also went the extra mile by setting up the MelCloud app on my phone, which makes it much easier to control the system. Since we only moved into Long Barn in February, all the Wi-Fi settings were still linked to the previous owners, but Colin sorted everything out without any fuss. It’s great to have everything running smoothly now – excellent service and very professional throughout. Highly recommended.

Abel Environmental Services Ltd have installed both Solar PV and an Air Source Heat Pump in my property. On both occasions the work has been completed to time, cost and high quality. Their engineers are knowledgeable and passionate about domestic renewable energy systems, sometimes having the same systems installed in their homes. Company wide, from director to the office, their communications are timely and excellent. I'll always go to AES as a first point of call when discussing new work or servicing systems. AES is everything that a modern family run heating and energy company should be.

Abel Environmental recently replaced our old air source heat pump, which had a failed compressor. From the start, they were highly responsive, providing a same-day quote and promptly answering all our questions. After being without a heating system for a few weeks, Abel prioritised our installation and managed to fit us in as soon as a slot became available. The installation was completed in just one day, and the quality of work and communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend Abel Environmental!

AES recently installed and commissioned solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery system. The complete process from system design and analysis through to installation and commissioning went very smoothly. AES provided good communications every step of the way. A professional company with friendly and considerate installation team. They took great care with routing of cables making the job look its best. Highly recommended team and company. The system is working really well and I am happy with it.

Used for a Solar install and Powerwall. Well planned top tier professional service with a very strong attention to detail. After sales care has been brilliant and they have responded to questions out of hours (especially useful if you’re not very technically competent!). Trust them and you won’t be disappointed.

Great local company. AES installed air conditioning for our home and were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Very professional, reliable and excellent communication throughout. Work was done by the engineers to a very high standard; very neat & tidy. We had a few teething problems after the initial installation and whilst the manufacturer themselves certainly didn't cover themselves in glory, it was never in doubt that the team at AES would get everything sorted with minimum fuss. Wouldn't hesitate to use again, thank you.

I have used AES twice in respect of issues with my Air Source Heat Pump. On both occasions the team, from the office to the engineer, have been excellent. Prompt response, friendly and professional manner. They have been very helpful and supportive to me, a ASHP novice. Happy to recommend.

I recently had my annual air source heat pump installation serviced by AES. All was well , a pressure cylinder had to be replaced. This was all carried out during the planned visit. Promptly. Thoroughly recommend AES for reliability and helpful attention..

Abel environmental did the original install of our Air Source Heat Pump and radiators all changed 2 1/2 years ago and very helpful, friendly and efficient throughout. When they came back for the service in October they were likewise helpful and efficient. We would definitely recommend them for an ASHP

I've used AES before to have solar panels fitted, and was very happy with their service. Now I wanted a heat pump to power new underfloor heating and existing upstairs radiators. More than that, I didn't really know. It took us a while to find out what we wanted. AES were happy to work with our builder, who was refitting our kitchen and replacing the floors in the ground floor. If you don't know exactly what you want, and want someone to help you make the best choice then I'd recommend AES who gave us good unbiased advice both times. Now it's a bit colder, I can also report that the underfloor heating is marvellous and cosy!

In June 2023 this company fitted our house with 13 solar panels over two roofs, an outside Solar Edge Inverter, and an Eddi Boost to divert solar power for hot water. We would highly recommend this firm. They know what they are doing and they do it efficiently and effectively. All stages, from our initial enquiry to installation, were very professionally managed. Our questions were always patiently and helpfully answered. Communications were speedy. The required processes, including grid permission and subsequent certifications, were explained beforehand and efficiently managed. Promised schedules and works to original quotes were kept to. Scaffolding for two roofs was erected in one day, and subsequent installation and commissioning was carried out also in one day. The installation team of three were courteous and efficient. Certificates necessary for our Smart Export Guarantee application were provided promptly following our final payment.

What an amazing job. From start to finish everything went so smoothly. Solar installations seem to bring with them many horror stories, but no in this case. Everything happened when we were told it would. The scaffolding went up on the Friday. We had a visit as well to double check positions of equipment and to check the roof. Then on Monday a swarm of tradesmen arrived, they started at 8.00am and finished at 7.30pm. The quality of the work was outstanding.

Matt and team recently designed and installed an ASHP system as we wanted to get off oil. From outset I was impressed by the depth of knowledge and detailed designs produced. Our pump was installed away from house with underground piping and the team had to work alongside a major garden landscaping project running at same time. It all went super smoothly, thanks to Matt's planning and the teams working well together on site. The instal team was passionate about its work and products and the plumbers made sure the layout maximised our usable garage space (something our original oil boiler installers certainly had not done!). Matt always responds to any questions straightaway. I am delighted with our new system and a big thank you to all at AES.

AES installed our new ASHP as well as laying underfloor heating and replacing most of our radiators. They have been excellent from start to finish (and beyond the finish, actually). From our first consultation they were very open and honest about what I wanted and how they could do it, helping me to understand the new (to me) heating technology involved. The installation was professional, tidy and done by an AES team, not random subcontractors. The proof however, is in the pudding, and the house is now nice and warm and the system works exactly as it should. Thoroughly recommended.

Matt and the team provided a brilliant service while installing a new air source heat pump. They were all very professional and you could tell it means alot to them to get things running as economically as possible. It was initially a nervous move for me to switch to air source heating but Matt was very reassuring and the pump works amazingly just as he said it would! Highly recommended. Friendly, professional and great at what they do. AES replaced an oil range powered heating and hot water system with an air source heat pump. Radiators were all also upgraded. Matt did a thorough assessment of the heat loss of the building and made recommendations for an appropriate system to install. Matt and his excellent team then installed the new system, and dealt brilliantly with all the problems that cropped up along the way. The new system has exceeded expectations and keeps the house consistently warm whatever the outdoor temperature. When there was an issue with the system they responded promptly and helpfully and got it sorted. We now live in a cosy zero-emissions house, free from oil fumes. I'd highly recommend AES to everyone.
