We had our solar and battery installation done by Stratford energy. They were extremely professional and did the work very efficiently. Contacting them and support has also been very useful and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the setup. It is very neatly designed and works really well so far! Highly recommended!

Was recommended Stratford Energy Solutions through a colleauge at work after getting nowhere with two other "recommended" local providers. The whole team were super helpful and knowledgeable from the get-go, and worked with me and my other contractors to fit the installation in the most efficent way. Very pleased with the 15 panel system we settled on and already addicted to the generation app! Would recommend to anyone else!

Not allowed to export energy back to National Grid

I had solar panels installed in may/June 2025. At the time of purchase they talked me through the ability to sell energy back to the grid. After the installation I completed the paperwork with Eon to make this happen and was told that the export request had not been raised. I have emailed SE a number of times to ask me to sort this out, but no response. I have now contacted National Grid directly and trying to resolve the issue. I feel we were misled during the purchase process. We may have though twice about putting solar panels in if we had known we were not allowed to export.

Had Stratford Energy recommended to us for Solar & Battery by my Brother-in-law and this proved to be an excellent choice. From start to finish we received excellent service. They delivered on all aspects of the project and on time. The Sales and installation teams I cannot fault were friendly and informative. I would have no problem recommending this company to any perspective new Clients.

We had solar panels and battery storage installed by Stratford Energy. The installation was extremely professional and tidy, the installers were friendly and made a couple of changes whilst onsite as requested. Definitely recommend

If you are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable company to fit solar panels and battery storage I would recommend Stratford Energy Solutions. They suggested the Sigen Energy storage solution with a 24kWh battery and this means that I only use cheap, off peak electricity (7p vs 28.7p/kWh). I was their first customer on this system and I am very pleased with it and the associated App makes it very easy to use. The whole process from initial contact to installation was seamless and the team were quick to correct and sort out any issues. Very neat job. They are not the cheapest but the products and service come with longer warranties and guarantees that others. Will be recommending them to friends and clients.

I was recommended to Stratford Energy Solutions by a friend who had used them recently. The service I received was excellent from the initial quotation, dealing with my requests for multiple changes, the fitting itself and the aftercare. I could not fault anything. The team who carried out the installation were amazing, never seen.so many people working on a.job at one time. I would definately recommend.

Brilliant experience from start to finish with Stratford Energy, they demonstrated expertise at all stages from design through to dealing with DNO challenges and then a brilliant job on the installation. Definitely recommend them if you are looking at solar, battery or an EV charger installation.

I found the whole experience with Stratford Energy Solutions very positive from my first meeting with Michael, who gave me excellent advice on the system suitable for my property, to installation. There was no heavy selling tactics. The team turned up at 8am and were finished by 2pm, with my system up and running. They talk you through how to use the app. Since installation I have enjoyed the use of free solar electricity. I find I can use my larger appliances throughout the day, whereas before I would limit use to once per day, at off peak times. I would totally recommend this company to anyone considering solar energy.

I sought assistance from Stratford Energy Solutions as my previous installer refused to provide after sales service when I transfered the Supplier of Broadband to another provider. Although the transfer went well, my App controlling the battery and inverter went offline. After 5 months trying to get the issue rectified by the original supplier, I was fortunate enough to find Stratford Energy Solutions who quickly attended to my problem which is now 100%. We were delighted by their prompt response and excellent service from very competent staff in both Admin and from the technical team. I would highly recommend this company because you will enjoy their efficiency and attention and get the best solution possible for your Solar journey.

A good friend of mine is a solar energy consultant and it was he that encouraged me to have the PV panels and a Teslaa battery fitted. He also recommended Stratford Energy Solutions ltd as he has also used them in the past. My first contact was with Georgia who was excellent, she provided a quote with several options and the projected savings that I would make from generating my own electricity. Jess then messaged me to ask if I had any questions of which I had several as this technology was new to me. Jess answered all of my questions and helped me to decide which option I wanted. We then arranged for a surveyor to visit who talked me through what would happen on the installation day and discussed where I wanted the battery to be fitted. The installation team arrived on time on the day and were all lovely people who knew what they were doing and my eleven panels and battery were all fitted by 2pm and I have been enjoying the free power ever since. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, every person I have interacted with from the office to the installation team have been wonderful to deal with, they gave me the feeling that I was in safe, professional hands, nothing was too much trouble and they certainly do go the extra mile. Great customer service, would recommend

Stratford Energy have been absolutely fantastic in all areas with our new extension. With it all being new it was required to be done in stages where I was kept updated throughout, always prompt arrival with polite friendly employees. The office girls (Georgia and Jess) are brilliant, always friendly and happy to assist and the team carrying out the work were great too 🙏🏽 cannot recommend them enough 5* service throughout

I just had my solar and battery system installed today by the Stratford Energy team. They were very professional and hard working . They were also very helpful in setting up the Tesla app and did and very neat job. I would 100% recommend them excellent . Thanks Garry

I reached out to Stratford Energy Solutions after doing my own research into the best solar panels to buy and they were one of the nearest installers. From the very start of dealing with Georgia and quotation and her clear guidance around my requirements and options to Charlie doing the survey and Jess with the administration I have to say they were all first class. There was no hard sell at any point and their communication was always very timely and clear. and right up to and after the fitting date I was kept up to date with the schedule. The fitters were very neat and tidy (pictures included) and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend the Stratford team to anybody considering installing solar and battery in the future. If only all trades people could be so professional.

Professional, fantastic communication and brilliant quote. The work carried out by SES has been brilliant, a really tidy neat job, we had been looking at SES for years prior and when the time came to install our Solar system we received quotes from multiple companies but the quality of product and quote set SES apart for what they were offering. The work involved in running several quotes adjusted to the many questions I had and then the follow up as we waited for the PW3 to come available was top notch. We would highly recommend SES.

Your team did and excellent, professional and very fast job of installing everything. This is the third installment you've done for me & about the sixth when I take into account jobs done for friends that I've recommended. They too are also very happy with their installations.

Jason and the team from Stratford Energy Solutions have been brilliant throughout. Customer service is excellent and telephone calls dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. The process was amazingly slick. The firm clearly know their business in detail and were incredibly helpful and efficient from quote and specification stage, through to obtaining the necessary permissions and the remarkably quick installation; taking no more than 5-6 weeks from initial contact to completion. Contractors on site were knowledgeable and competent and installation completed to a high standard, with effective handover at the end. A first class company whom I would have no hesitation in recommending. 5 March 2024 4 years after the original solar installation, the team returned yesterday to install another Tesla battery. Standards have certainly not changed: the installation was quick and efficient, the guys certainly knew their stuff and everything was left immaculate. Thank you Stratford Energy!!

I would highly recommend Stratford Energy Solutions! From start to finish. The communication, organisation and information/advice from the office/clerical team was excellent. The installation team were exemplary, they turned up at the time stated, they were polite, tidy and respectful of the property. They were all great ambassadors for the company. The wiring is neat, tidy and largely invisible, the panels are perfectly symmetrical and everything is level. The whole installation looks better than I could have wished for.

Bullied my elderly mother into taking something she could not afford. When we phoned them to explain her problem, the guy laughed at me and said she had signed a contract.

Solar & battery installation

Installed 12 panels, two Eddi devices on water heaters, storage battery and EV charger. Start to finish excellent, very impressed with both Stratford Energy personnel and the installed system.

Great end-to-end experience

We got multiple solar panels and a battery installed at our property. Due to supply chain issues the battery was unavailable, but Stratford Energy installed the solar panels so we'd have the use of them over the summer despite this being more work for them, and without us asking. The whole team, from the office staff to the installation team were extremely helpful and accommodated our asks and requirements. Our initial quote was clear and concise, outlining some options and (conservative) estimates on their expected performance. There was no sales push or attempts to upsell, just a list of our options, with our contact happy to answer questions we had. The installation is neat and tidy, and their engineers spoke with confidence in what they were doing and why. The equipment we purchased is excellent and I feel confident it will last a long time. I was recommended by two colleagues, and I'll be recommending Stratford to friends who may need their services in the future too. Thanks a lot!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, I enquired about having solar panels fitted six weeks ago and provided the company with all the relevant information, despite making several phone enquiries I still haven’t had anybody from the company contact me for a quote! If I’m having this much trouble trying to buy a product from them, what is their follow up service like if you have a problem? I know that the industry is inundated at the moment it would however be nice to have some form of contact!

Stratford Energy... think twice.

Stratford Energy installed a Zappi charger for us. The tethered cable clamp was left loose exposing the inner cable cores. It took many calls to them to get an engineer to inspect without success "you must have pulled on the cable" was their reasoning. We had our own electrician inspect it, to discover the cable clamp had never been properly tightened on installation. Since then, the unit has completely failed (probably as a result of the loose cable) Stratford Energy have not effectively chased the supplier for a replacement, so I did so after almost three weeks of waiting. MyEnergi (the makers of the charger who were great with me) arranged a replacement for immediate dispatch to my home. I will be getting our electrician to fit it...
