Was recommended Stratford Energy Solutions through a colleauge at work after getting nowhere with two other "recommended" local providers. The whole team were super helpful and knowledgeable from the get-go, and worked with me and my other contractors to fit the installation in the most efficent way. Very pleased with the 15 panel system we settled on and already addicted to the generation app! Would recommend to anyone else!

Contacting them and support has also been very useful and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the setup. It is very neatly designed and works really well so far! If you are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable company to fit solar panels and battery storage I would recommend Stratford Energy Solutions. They suggested the Sigen Energy storage solution with a 24kWh battery and this means that I only use cheap, off peak electricity (7p vs 28.7p/kWh). I was their first customer on this system and I am very pleased with it and the associated App makes it very easy to use. The whole process from initial contact to installation was seamless and the team were quick to correct and sort out any issues. Very neat job. They are not the cheapest but the products and service come with longer warranties and guarantees that others. Will be recommending them to friends and clients.

I would highly recommend Stratford Energy Solutions! From start to finish. The communication, organisation and information/advice from the office/clerical team was excellent. The installation team were exemplary, they turned up at the time stated, they were polite, tidy and respectful of the property. They were all great ambassadors for the company. The wiring is neat, tidy and largely invisible, the panels are perfectly symmetrical and everything is level. The whole installation looks better than I could have wished for.

Not allowed to export energy back to National Grid

I had solar panels installed in may/June 2025. At the time of purchase they talked me through the ability to sell energy back to the grid. After the installation I completed the paperwork with Eon to make this happen and was told that the export request had not been raised. I have emailed SE a number of times to ask me to sort this out, but no response. I have now contacted National Grid directly and trying to resolve the issue. I feel we were misled during the purchase process. We may have though twice about putting solar panels in if we had known we were not allowed to export.

Brilliant Solar and Battery installation

We had solar panels and battery storage installed by Stratford Energy. The installation was extremely professional and tidy, the installers were friendly and made a couple of changes whilst onsite as requested. Definitely recommend

Stratford Energy Solutions The customer service was excellent, Georgia answered all my questions regarding the SunPower PV panels and advised on choice of inverters, following up with an invitation to look round their showroom to see the products and consider the specifications of each product and their efficiency. On the day of installation, the fitters were punctual and arrived at 08:00am and were also very knowledgeable. The work was completed in a day, there was no mess and the system worked first time. Chloe who provided follow up support by emailing warranty certificate insurance cover and invoices was also very efficient in her diligence to all my requests. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
