An excellent engineer is Mark, fitted the additional remote operating I asked for hub with ease and led me clearly through the on line set up and functioning. The actual annual service was very thorough. He explained to me and showed me items which will help my management of the Heat Pump. When he left I felt I have great confidence in the system until at least the next service, probably longer.

A previous company bodged the installation of an air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout my house and it was replete with issues. After a year of back and forth with this other company, I asked James from EPC improvements to do an independent review of the installation. He identified all the faults and proposed a remediation plan. After one day's work, everything works perfectly - the flow rate is optimised so it runs quietly, I can control all my temperature zones from an app, the pressure is at target, the configuration is correct. I'm incredibly relieved to have found James and EPC improvements. James has been installing heat pumps for two decades and his knowledge is top shelf. If you are considering an installation, or facing issues with a previous company, EPC improvements are peerless.

Epc provided a first class service baring in mind I did not have a service contact with them. Their customer service was first class and the communication with their service engineer was brilliant. As this my first encounter with a heat pump I have decided to take out a service contract with Epc and this was made a lot easier when using the 2 ladies in the service department.

I have nothing but praise for EPC. They installed my system 4 years ago and serviced it yearly ever since. The staff is friendly and available at any time. EPC is competent, trustworthy and reliable.

Mark from EPC Improvements was really helpful when doing our first annual service of our air source pump, hot water cylinder and heating system. He answered all our questions and showed us how to get the system to work at its optimal best and potentially save money on our winter heating bills. We've already saved money on our energy costs since we had the air source pump installed, so that's great!

I can not recommend EPC Improvements enough. Right from survey, planning and execution of installing my air source heat pump everything went like clockwork with no problems. All the work, including replacing all the radiators, was carried out in a neat and efficient manner. Extremely pleased with the end result.

EPC Installed a heat pump for me about a year ago and have just been back to service the unit. They were quick to resolve any initial teething issues early on and were thorough with the service. Special mention to Mark - great at communicating what's going on and education me on how it all works.

The servicing was everything it could be including explaining things I had not grasped before to monitor and adjust things myself (eg: water pressure). Mark did a thorough and expert srvicing. The only issue is that the company which EPCI asked to do the fitting of the thermostats and controls did not do what we had asked for when we agreed the EPCI contract which was to enable us to control it on line and that is something which was not done at the start, well before the two highly skilled engineers, James and Mark, went to work at EPCI and do the first rate services we receive each anniversary.

Just had our first service of air source heat pump and boiler from EPC. With us for about two hours, incredibly friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and ensured we were running as efficiently as possible. EPC installed our heat pump, and went above and beyond to help us out a couple of months ago when we had a manufacturer related problem. Would definitely recommend them.

Just had the first annual service of my heat pump. Mark was very thorough and spent 2 hours checking the system and going back over the controls. Heat pumps are far from cheap, but if you’re going to get one then EPC is a very professional supplier and installer.

EPC Improvements are very professional and easy to deal with. Finding the right company when installing/moving to new heating and renewable tech can be a minefield; the EPC team from sales, through installation to maintenance and admin are an ideal choice, friendly and reliable.

I had a terrible experience with EPC Improvements. I hired them for solar panel installation and battery storage, but the process was a nightmare. The solar panels were installed incorrectly, leading to inefficiencies. The battery storage system malfunctioned within a month, and customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. The heat pump they installed was noisy and ineffective. Their promises of improving energy efficiency were far from reality. Avoid this company if you want reliable and professional service.

EPC did a good job fitting a heat pump and cylinder in a tight space, which has been working great for a few years. I've found their communication to be excellent throughout the quoting/installing/servicing. The servicing is thorough (if maybe a bit expensive?) - checking the heat pump itself and all the various bits of plumbing.

EPC Improvements is by far the best Heat Pump company I’ve dealt with. My original installer had gone bust ( shock horror) and I was in need of my annual service. EPC replied to my enquiry email within a week and quoted me and scheduled the appointment 2 days later. No other company I had spoken to was able to attend so quickly. This isn’t some cowboy outfit, Mark arrived as promised, he didn’t realise the external unit was wall mounted but that didn’t phase him, it didn’t even slow him down. For Every bizarre installation decision that the previous installer made, Mark was able to find a workaround to get the job done. The report I was sent 2 days later was extremely thorough, with details of what to watch out for and recommendations to keep the unit operating at maximum efficiency. I will be signing up for their Gold Service Plan. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They may not have been the cheapest but the quality of their work cannot be disputed and you can’t put a price on peace of mind.

I've been working with EPC Improvements since June last year to have an in-roof solar solution installed into a property I bought back in February - they were incredibly patient as we waited for our chain to complete and kept in regular contact throughout. Once we moved into the new property in February, EPC Improvements attended the property very quickly for the survey and within a few weeks the final solution was designed and delivered. Everyone at EPC Improvements were fully committed in terms of their customer service and approach, each a credit to the business. A big shout out to the following people for going above and beyond to get us over the line: Fraser - for brilliantly handling the initial contact and conducting the survey - whilst also taking a bit of time to throw in a bit of dog training when he visited ! :-) Kai - Excellent forensic analysis of energy usage data and providing design and costings promptly, attending site to ensure suitability and taking almost never ending calls from me to help with all my questions. Neil - Brilliant Organization of the teams that were responsible for the deployment of the solution and keeping in contact when any very minor challenges presented themselves. Steve - Excellent delivery of all the internal electrics required for the solution and thanks for the input relating to my battery questions. Nick - Excellent, super fast delivery of the outside works, including stripping and relaying of the roof tiles and deploying the solar panels as per the design. Dimitri - for the unending energy and enthusiasm supporting Nick in getting the outside works completed and for being probably the happiest person I've met in quite a while! The back office team for the timely turn around of issuing the energy export information to enable us to set up our outgoing tariff with Octopus. The ladies on the phones who always took care to ensure I was routed to the right people when I asked, taking messages and even helping to ensure skips and scaffolds were removed before Easter. Thanks again to you all - I was sitting here wondering when the last excellent customer experience I'd had, it must have been so long ago I can't think of one off the top of my head. This company carried out a complete installation of our heat pump, solar panel and underfloor heating system. They continue to maintain it with servicing annually. I've had my heat pump installed for about 2 years now and initially had some minor problems but they were soon sorted by James at EPC. The install was very swift despite being not an easy one and the installers were very tidy and did a neat job lagging and hiding the extra pipes needed. I've been over the moon with my decision to both install a heat pump and to have chosen EPC to do the install. Over the winter period the whole house is warm and cosy without costing me a fortune. Mark from EPC has just completed an annual service for me, it's good value for money if you pay by monthly installments, he did a great job explaining what he was doing and why. Mark also went over and above what I've experienced from British Gas with my old gas boiler in improving things further with advice on insulation of my install, as it's in an unheated garage, he also went outside and put extra insulation in places which is something he didn't have to do but I really do admire his tenacity in wanting my install to be just perfect. I've been talking to and showing my neighbour my install as they want a heat pump as well and I highly recommend EPC to them.

EPC Improvements were a pleasure to deal with throughout. The pre-sales information and process were clear, sensible and well thought through. The team and their sub-contractors were professional and pleasant. The system has been well designed, fits neatly both outside and inside, and is working very well (I have waited till the first frosts before posting this review). I found out after the installation that my thermostatic shower mixer valve needed replacing as it needed the higher water temperature provided by my previous (gas) system, and would have preferred this risk to have been flagged to me before. A heads up that the setting control panel is far from intuitive, so it is worth making sure that the installation team set it fully to your wishes before they head off. But the firm's remote post-installation service has been helpful and responsive too.

Customer focused; delivering excellent service and high quality installation. Had been let down by my previous installers; EPC configured an Air Source Heat pump and associated peripheral equipment that was correctly sized to meet the heating requirements for my home. Installation was completed in under two days by professional engineers Would highly recommend EPC Improvements.

I asked EPC to help me understand if an ASHP would benefit me, as I searched for an alternative to a standard gas boiler. This started with a survey to see what the heat requirements were and to see what would work. The intro meeting was very informative and all my questions were answered by the very knowledgeable engineer. I then received quotes for the works which I asked them to proceed with. We had a few false starts due to equipment delivery problems (thanks to covid) but once started the implementation was completed in a week. The implementation by Ben and Scott was very neat and I was impressed with their work ethic and attention to detail. Now its all finished and even though it -7 outside I have a nice Green solution for heating and hot water and a warm house. I would recommend EPC for anyone considering an ASHP
