Seamless install

Our particular project was complicated due to the panels being located 200m from the house but the Bliss team pulled together and delivered a fantastic system for us, the install was smooth and well organised. I will be using them again in the future.

We have just had a Solax system installed with 4 panels on the pitched roof and 9 panels on our flat roof loft conversion in South London. I received quite a lot of contradictory advice from different suppliers around what we could fit up there given the challenges of measuring without scaffold. Bill and his team were the only ones I felt comfortable with in terms of a real view around the best way to maximise our solar returns whilst balancing aesthetic considerations of the array with orientation and spatial fit. I really feel we have maxed out the energy generation without looking like a mess (some quotes) or undercooking it (others). The other big challenge we had was the cable routing / wiring, where Bliss worked it through with me and actually exceeded expectations on the install day to conceal. On our first day of operation the energy generation we have has also exceeded expectations and so far so good! I trust Bliss will continue to finish the install in terms of scaffold, MCS and so on, and as it stands I would be happy to recommend to others. 👍

Bliss stepped in at short notice after we were let down by another company. They were very easy to deal with, completely priced and keen to do a good job. They overcame problems and responded to any concerns quickly. We were glad to have found them and are delighted with our solar installation with batteries.

We were very impressed with Bliss. We took three quotes which all came in around the same price but Bliss had a Which rating and a 10-year workmanship guarantee. Throughout the process they were contactable and answered all queries. They only require a relatively small upfront deposit - different to others- and then delivered on every date specified. They kept in contact throughout the process and afterwards to rectify any teething issues. The installation team were particularly excellent working on time, carefully and knowledgeably. After support to help me with understanding the system has been comprehensive and timely. This was a very welcome experience after a torrid time with Eon solar who let me down consistently! I would highly recommend Bliss who acted quickly, priced fairly and performed excellently.

Solar Installation

From the initial enquiry to meeting Joe, Sales advisor, and then Alex and the installation team, it’s been a breeze. Any questions were dealt with straight away. Chloe in the office was there to assist with any issues. The system has been up and running for almost a month and anything to be a little bit more self sustainable is a good thing in my eyes. Such an easy and pleasant experience- The installer, Alex, was fantastic. Worked so hard and on a really rainy day, too. He helped me register an account for my EV charger and talked me through how it all worked. Great communication from the firm and all paperwork sent through.

Excellent friendly service from start to completion of installation

Very prompt response to initial enquiry following recommendation from neighbour. The Energy Assessor (salesman to you and me) listened well to what we said and avoided unnecessary detail, and then provided an initial quotation very quickly, which he updated again very quickly to take advantage of the chance to improve the system. We were able to take advantage of a very keen price and quick installation date, with a lead time in weeks, compared to a national company with a lead time in months. The contract signing process and technical survey booking was efficiently handled by the friendly office staff and the surveyor was also prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer all our questions. The friendly installation team did a great job on the day with all work completed as planned and a clear explanation provided of the app that shows the system operation. The scaffolding team, although sub-contractors, also did a great job. It was great to know that everyone we dealt with was a direct employee of a regional company, apart from the scaffolders for obvious reasons; no faceless bureaucrats! In summary, a great company to deal with, with great people, who did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, providing in a great product and service an excellent solution to our Solar Energy challenge.

Bliss go that extra mile (or 300)!

Having just moved from a property where we had solar panels and a battery system installed, we were very keen to make the best use of this new (to us) house with its south facing roof. Having contacted a number of companies, we decided to go with Bliss Eco-Energy despite their being based over 150 miles away in Essex (we are in the New Forest)! The main reason for this is that the lead time for other companies was measured in months, some even quoting dates in 2026, while Bliss promised to be able to start work almost as soon as the survey had been completed. Also Bliss clearly had all the necessary accreditations with HIES, Tesla and their online reviews were very favourable. The time from first contact to installation was just over 1 month with the price quoted very much in the same ballpark as the other companies, all for almost identical PV systems with 16 panels and the Tesla Powerwall 3 with Tesla gateway providing full house backup. The installation team of 6 arrived at 08:20 and were finished by 1pm. The speed at which they worked was amazing, but may also explain the problems subsequently discovered and our reason for not giving the full 5 stars. One of the solar panels was rather obviously sitting slightly proud of the others. More seriously, the earth bonding had not been properly installed and tested. Both of these faults were rapidly fixed by people driving the 300 mile round trip, so I cannot fault Bliss’s Eco-Energy’s commitment to customer service. Another problem was that the DC cables connecting the solar panels to the powerwall were not routed as the surveyor had described, but instead took a path where a significant section would be subject to full sunlight all day. Again, a 300 mile round trip was taken to reroute those cables through the attic space. We are delighted with the performance of the system, and the very short lead time before installation. We are also very happy with the speed in which the problems have been resolved, although we feel that those problems might have been avoided had a little more time and care been taken during installation.

Rob and Bliss Eco are the best in the industry

Rob, Alex and the whole team led us through everything we needed to know throughout the process. All the other vendors were pushing overly priced small installations which we realised didn’t make sense for us after a lot of research. Bliss Eco Energy had the expertise and flexibility to fit to our property and requirements. The guys that came to do the install were fast, efficient, friendly, diligent and careful with our home. We got an auditor in after the installation, and ended up making a huge EPC jump from a low D to a solid B, more than offsetting the already competitive pricing of the install in increased house value! And that was before we realised the huge savings we were making every day on energy bills, even selling energy back to the grid on cloudy October days! The cherry on the cake is that we now qualify for a lower interest green mortgage, shaving more than £1k a year off our mortgage too. I would recommend Rob and his team without hesitation to anyone that is tired of high energy bills and outdated housing. My neighbours and friends are tired of hearing about how great they are. Just pull the trigger and have them upgrade your roof and life already, it’s a no brainer investment.

Generally great experience

Generally great experience in the sales, and after-sale process. The customer service could be improved especially concerning the providing of the handover pack (i.e. MCS certificates and DNO documentation), which needed chasing. Some hiccups during installation with one of the contractors trying to convince me that a birdguard was not necessary (despite it being included in the paid quote, and installation being an industry standard). The above issues aside, really happy with how the solar panel system is performing. The after-sale/manager team was particularly attentive. Overall, a good and reliable company, with a good selection of products to accommodate different budgets.

I recently, on the recommendation of a friend, chose Bliss for my solar panels install. From first to last, they were polite, professional and expert in quoting, surveying my property and installation. There was no attempt to up sell me, and they took great care in detailing everything they were doing, and why. This company is an an absolute gem in a market that is crowded with below average competition. I cannot reccommended them too highly!

We had an excellent experience with Bliss Eco — the whole process was incredibly quick and efficient. Bill came out to give us a quote (we’d had several), and Bliss came out cheapest with the most panels. Best of all, they were able to install the following week — perfect timing for peak summer generation. They handled everything: the G99 application was sorted quickly, scaffolding went up without a hitch, and while they were on the roof, they even took care of a couple of minor repairs. Alex came over to do the survey and took the time to walk us through exactly how the system would work, which really helped build our confidence in the setup. Bill was brilliant throughout — always quick to respond, really knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions. The installation itself was seamless. Since it's gone live, we’ve only needed to draw from the grid overnight to charge our EVs. On a sunny day we’re generating up to 70kWh, and even on cloudy days we’re still easily covering our daily usage and keeping the Tesla battery topped up. Bliss Eco Energy really is the place to go to for everything from solar panels, Battery storage packs for the home. A/C units and even car charging units. I have never come across such a professional company. All the staff are amazing and so friendly their knowledge is amazing and you really can ask them anything you want. Now to the installation! Wow! Always on time always professional and the standard of work is truly brilliant. The products of a high standard, reliable and look really good too. It's very hard to know who to trust when it comes to spending a lot of your hard earned cash or retirement funds as in my case. Bliss Eco Energy were the first to contact me after I entered my details on a web form. Thank God they did, from the minute Bill entered our home and went through everything with us we made our decision there and then and placed an order for 16 solar panels and one Tesla Powerwall 3 Battery storage pack to run our home. Since then I've been back to Bliss for the fourth time now, this was for another 10 solar panels for the garage roof this time a 2nd Powerwall 3 battery and 2 A/C units and a Zappi E/V charger oh I almost forgot a warm air heat pump for heating and a water tank system for hot water. If you want to feel safe spending your hard earned cash then look no further than Bliss based in Southend Essex I'm in Norfolk by the way and this was not a problem. So thank you Bliss, Phil, Stuart, Alex, William, the lovely Chloe Bill, the electrical team Ronnie ah sorry so many people involved i can't remember all there names but thank you. One last thing on completion you'll get a full hand over pack great if your planning to sell your home at a later date.

I contacted several companies after receiving a quote from my local council preferred supplier for a group pricing scheme. Bliss were one of the quickest to respond and were the only company offering to immediately visit to survey the site and discuss options. I don't have the time and patience to fill in information requests and other such things before someone comes to actually assess the site, roof and orientation. I prefer the personal touch. Joe Ward, their sales advisor, provided an un-pressured on-site survey and quotation. He was very honest about the compromise I wanted to make on the panel location which, because we have a period property, I did not to be visible from the gardens or approach. I supplied Bliss with the pricing quoted by the local scheme company, and their quote was good enough for me to choose the Bliss offer. I was surprised what good value the price was. I chose Bliss because they met all required standards, however, I particularly liked the fact I could be sure they 100% used their own staff for installation. Installation was amazingly quick, and my electrician, after seeing the installation, commented it was the neatest and most professional he'd ever seen. Everything is working perfectly first time and power generation is superb.

We had solar panels and battery installed, Firstly the advice and visit from the sales rep was super, this company advises on all manufacturers and the best fit for the energy company taffifs and a surveyor visits pre-install to ensure all is fine.The install itself was smooth and efficient, as was the erection of the scaffold. Very competent and we were very happy. So far no issues, everything is functioning as it should. Finally the price was just lower than middle of those we received, not the lowest but a long way from the highest two. So far so good, we would recommend from our experience so far.

Excellent installation and commissioning of our system. We got several quotes and Bliss were competitive and offered the right combination of panels, inverters and batteries for us. The installation was arranged exceptionally quickly due to our travel plans with the whole installation completed speedily and in good order leaving the site clean and tidy. The scaffolding was also removed promptly as arranged. Overall, a very good experience.

We recently had Bliss Eco Energy install two systems at our home - and we couldn’t be happier with the work. Firstly Alex and his team installed two solar arrays with micro inverters + battery storage. These have been running perfectly for the last couple of months now. They were tidy, professional and went the extra mile (as in long days!) to get things done quickly and working properly. More recently Phil and his team (a huge thanks to Zack, Jack and Ronnie here!) spent several long days and worked tirelessly to install an R290 heat pump and in the process replace a great deal of odd victorian plumbing, old hot water cylinder, water pump, loft tank, radiators, you name it… as well as getting rid of a planet-polluting gas boiler. Having had a terrible experience with a local solar company (still ongoing) Iain from Bliss made contact with me through an online enquiry I made on the Enphase website. I made an appointment with Iain and we talked through want I required and his knowledge left me feeling confident that they could deliver what I wanted. Within 3 weeks I have the system up and running, a far cry from the other company who took my deposit in September last year.
