Shiney Electrical have been brilliant from start to finish. They recently completed a large solar installation for us, including panels, a battery system, full house backup and an EV charger. I chose Shiney over much larger national and regional companies for a few key reasons: 1. A genuinely bespoke service. As well as the solar install, they were able to take on additional jobs at the same time, such as adding extra garage sockets and installing attic lighting, which made the whole project far more convenient. 2. Easy to work with. They visited early on to talk through our requirements in person and took the time to properly understand what we wanted rather than offering a one size fits all solution. 3. Independent, informed advice. They did not push a particular brand or manufacturer. Instead, they talked us through the options and helped us make an informed decision that suited our home and budget. The installation process itself was seamless. Shiney were flexible with start dates, worked around our schedule, and kept us clearly informed about what would be happening each day. On site they were friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. At the end of the project, Lee took the time to walk us through everything and make sure we were completely happy with the setup. I would recommend Shiney Electrical without hesitation. A fantastic local company delivering top quality work.

Delighted I found Shiney for the job. It was a large installation (28 panels + three batteries + EV charger) in limited space, but they were faultless from the start. Sarah both drafted the initial proposal as well as attended the site on the first day of works, so the engineers understood requirements precisely. They worked hard to minimise damage despite awkward runs, and everyone on-site was as competent as they were courteous. They even returned (at no additional cost) to make good on some acoustics, which was something that only became apparent following completion. All in all, you'd struggle to find anyone better for a solar array fit. 100% recommend.

Great solution to a tricky issue involving BT Fibre, router location and adequate signal through concrete walls and floors. Excellent work at every stage.

This company have completed our instalation on time and as per quote. Nick kept us informed while he completed the process and gave me full instructions how to opperate the charger and cleared up totally before he left. Shiney Electrical recently completed TT earthing installations and carried out EICR testing for me at two remote sites. On both occasions, their service was first-rate — clear, timely communication, well-managed scheduling, and high-quality workmanship. Their pricing was very reasonable and fully transparent. The operative, Jamie, was highly proficient and professional throughout. He took the time to explain the scope of works, ensured compliance with current regulations, and left both sites clean and secure. The work was delivered efficiently and to a high standard, with all necessary documentation provided promptly upon completion. I recently enjoyed an hour at Shiney Electric display studio . I got to touch ,see and understand what renewable energy could do for my property and the financial benefits. Used Lee and his team to install an EV charger. Throughout they have been prompt and professional but, more importantly, I valued their customer friendly ethos. The installation was completed to a high standard and they stayed with me as we negotiated a few initial teething problems with the app; all now resolved. Would definitely use again.

Installation of an EV charger... Cannot recommend highly enough. I am very pleased. If more companies provided this kind of excellent service, the world would be a better place. Many companies may charge similar prices, but Shiney go way beyond that. Pride themselves on high quality work, expert advice and most cost effective outcome! And its so very true. Really great service and work - I called Shiney to check on a burnt socket at a house with an old lady tenant - Lee contacted the tenant, arranged an appointment for the next day, attended as arranged, carried out the work efficiently and tested all the circuitry to make sure all was OK. The price for the work was competitive and reasonable. The tenant was very happy, I am very happy and will certainly contact Shiney again for electrical work. Thanks Lee, great job.
