I had plenty of questions at the beginning and along the way, and wanted an atypical order of installation (inverter/battery before the solar array), all of which Tom dealt with in his usual calm and professional manner. His experience and knowledge is impressive. For example, he reassured us there wouldn’t be a problem running the solar system alongside a power-hungry GSHP; this has proven to be the case. The work ethic and quality of workmanship, by both Tom and his associates, has also been impressive. The upshot is we now have a highly efficient system that has surpassed our expectations for solar energy capture and storage. Had Tom and his team fit our solar panels last week. The price was competitive, from my original quote, I asked for better make panels with bigger KW and this was still a good price. The guys only took 3 days to fit and have it up and running, they are honest reliable firm. Thank you Tom

Tom and Generation Solar were timely and efficient with the installation, there were no hidden extras, and after sales support was exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend them.

So, we have had our system installed since May 24 and after enough time to see how the system performs it’s about time I posted a review. I spent a long time researching many different companies, all offering a myriad of solutions, with mixed reviews and costs. And came away feeling disillusioned with the whole process. I asked Generation Solar to quote as they were local to us, Tom arrived and did a technical review, this was not a sales meeting, just a straightforward review of what was needed and how much it would cost. We have a solar edge array and battery installed. And have a Solar boost water heater via the immersion heater. They were the only company that managed to fit 13 panels to the roof, and offered us an optimised system, with a battery in a location of our choosing. Once agreed a firm date was set and Generation Solar arrived on mass, arranged the scaffolding and completed the full install within three days with the site left tidy. Everything works, all the paperwork was supplied. DNO documents for the Energy supplier. I didn’t have to wait for anything. The system has performed remarkably well since installation. And has reduced our costs to almost nothing. (Apart from financing the cost of the project) For a fully electric house with 4 people all using the electric central heating and water heating. This is a remarkable saving We had the panels reviewed by a colleague who ran a drone solar inspection company and wanted some solar install examples for their business. They could not find anything wrong with the installation and the panels. Overall, we are very pleased with the installation.

Brilliant solar installation by Tom and the team. All done and dusted in a couple of days, thorough and tidy work and very easy to communicate with. So exciting to see so much power generated in just a few days, even cloudy ones. Can't recommend highly enough.

Tom and Team replaced my old battery storage with a Tesla Powerwall system. Very impressed with the installation. They managed to install the system in a day and left the garage in a clean and tidy state. Just need a bit of sunshine now.

Had Generation Solar fit a 3.6kW Solar array back in June 2023. Install was pretty seamless and all done in the one day. Tidy, considerate and likeable team. Cost was competitive and all documentation received. Array has been working well since June with no issues. In summary I can thoroughly recommend Tom at Generation Solar.

It's no surprise that Generation Solar are so busy! I must confess to being slightly apprehensive at having a something like this installed in our property. But from the survey back in early November through to our installation on January 12th by Tom and his small team, everything was brilliant. One and a half days (and many cups of tea) later the installation was complete and to an exceptional standard. Tom returned 2 days later to commission and 'switch on' the system, and, so far, has performed beyond expectations (for mid Winter). I highly recommend Generation Solar. Many thanks to you all!

Generation Solar installed our 10.92kW Solar PV system with 10kWh battery storage. Tom was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly. We felt that he acted responsibly and in what was in our best interests despite having to wait for Council approval for the bigger system. The team was a professional, obviously highly skilled group of fitters and electricians - producing neat and impressive results. We highly recommend Generation Solar.

Tom is hugely knowledgeable regarding solar panels. He was here to accept the delivery and make sure all was ok and he was here for the installation giving me complete confidence in everything regarding the install. The price was incredibly competitive and I really liked that this was his company and he was making sure it was installed exactly as he and we wanted.
