We had been think of having a solar system fitted for a while with ever increasing electric prices we decided to go ahead with have them fitted.That was the easy bit trying to find somebody to fit them trust worthy was a different matter we had several quotes all with differing options none we felt comfortable with then we came across an ACD coffee morning to come and have a chat about everything solar and meet some of there customers which we did really enjoyed it no hard sell we were so impressed we booked Andrew to Come and give us a quote and the rest is history but trouble and hassle free history.Andrew and his team did a fantastic job they were very polite and incredibly tidy and everything happened within the time frame we were told even though the weather was very wet.We had all the paperwork we needed really quick after the install and would recommend them in a heart beat can’t speak highly enough of them thank you all

Solar System

We decided to get a solar system installed, as our eclectic consumption is high. we had a look around and asked for a quote from ACD Electrical Green-tech limited, Andrew came round and did a quote for us, not just one but various quotes on different systems as I had not quite decided on the final setup. After a lot of questions from myself and advice from Andrew, we decided on the system that best suited our needs, when we went ahead Andrew and his team did all the paperwork, then came and did the install, then on completion talked me through the operation of the system, though he is always there if I need any help or advice as I get used to the system and setup. The job was done and completed in the time advised and to a fantastic standard and I would recommend this company to anyone considering a solar system.

We Used ACD for the second time; the first, to install a Givenergy 13.5KWH 'All In One' home storage battery, with Gateway, to compliment our existing 8KW PV array. After the recent purchase of a plug in Skoda hybrid car, we asked Andy to quote for a compatible Givenergy EV charger. His price was keen, lower than other installers and service was prompt. A good neat EV charger installation, and the new Givenergy charger works perfectly with the App, to monitor existing PV production and to set cheap overnight rate charge times for both the EV and home storage battery. I highly recommend ACD for your electrical work and your possible move into renewable energy, home storage and EV's.

Quick, easy and tidy installation of EV charger. Quick to come and quote and fitted as soon as charger arrived.

I cannot praise this company enough.We had our PV/Battery system with EV charging installed by this company in March '23.Some 30 months later they are always there to help and sort any issues.Recently my internet provider replaced our router which caused connection problems.Andy was on hand within a couple of hours and got it sorted.I doubt you will find a better installer.

Andy from ACD who dealt with my request for a quote was excellent. He provided multiple quotes very quickly and discussed my particular needs and options. He visited me to confirm details and put no pressure on me. On this basis, I would highly recommend ACD for solar.

Excellent intelligent service

Andrew was brilliant. I contacted them for a warranty repair though they didn't install originally. It turned out to be a nightmare job requiring several visits because the equipment supplier was very difficult to deal with. But Andrew persisted and got the replacement parts and then configured it to get it all working again. Considering how many visits he made and how much time he ended up spending, I think his invoice was very reasonable.

Good technical info, price and service

Andy provided detailed quotes at initial contact and after a bit of back and forth looking at options he came and visited and went through everything in detail. Quote was much more detailed than I had received from Scottish Power and Andy could answer all my technical questions. Scaffold was installed about a week before the job started and Andy and the team where on site for 4 days fitting 21 panels, inverter and battery. Team were friendly and professional.

First class service by ACD…

We’ve had a first class service by ACD Electrical Green-Tech. Nothing was too difficult for Andy Green. The quotes were excellent. He relocated a solar isolator for us outside the house, removing the old one from the electrical box and fitting a new one in a new separate box. All installed without any fuss and working perfectly. He also ordered and fitted a new solar battery for us and spent a long time to ensure it was connected and working faultlessly before he left. He had to make several journeys to us during the afternoon because of extra unexpected parts needed. The quotation he had originally stated was exactly the same he charged us even though he was with us for much longer than he had expected . A great service from a very experienced man who clearly knows his trade!

Searched on line for a reputable solar Panel installer. Acd Electrical [Recommended by Which ] looked promising ,so I emailed them asking for a quote. Andy Green came to the house ,and gave me all the information I needed and was very helpful. The installation was carried out in a swift and professional manner. After a two year gap from first introduction and quote from ACD to final installation the level of service has been exemplary, no pushy salesmanship, just good honest advice. Andy and the fitting team were brilliant from day 1 to commissioning, no dramas and the system is producing beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend ACD.

First class from start to finish. Andy Green gave us detailed, precise information about the system the company planned to install, and the installation ran on time like clockwork (Tesla battery, integrated panels, Eddi and car charger). It's three months now since installation and it has worked flawlessly from the start.

We had solar panels and batteries fitted by ACD Electrical at the end of last year and are absolutely delighted with it. This year to date it has generated and stored enough to provide nearly 80% of all our electric, and well over 90% for the last 4 months! We had been waiting for a quote for a battery installation from Sungift, after 8 weeks we had heard nothing. I got an online quote from another company and then spoke to ACD at a show. ACD were quick to responde, actually visited to do a quote. Within 4 weeks of contacting them the system was efficiently installed and tested. There quote against an on line one was competitive. Very pleased with workmanship and system.
