Danny and his team installed 10 solar panels, a battery, an inverter and a gateway for us in late September 2025. The installation took two days and was flawless. The cost was £6,500. The only problem was caused by the equipment not being supplied with a high enough capacity of circuit breaker but this was quickly resolved by the team. Since then we have run seamlessly on battery during a power cut. Over the 5 (dull winter) months since we have saved £2 a day because of the battery (charging up at night on off peak electricity) and £1 a day from solar generation (this will get better in the spring and summer). I highly recommend UK Solar and Battery.

Cannot recommend enough! I started looking at Solar early December and initially started the process with another company who said the maximum we could have would be 9 panels on the house only, Nothing on the garage and the battery had to be where they said so. Speaking with Uk solar and battery it was clear from the get go that they were able to do more of what we wanted, 17 panels including the garage and the battery system could go where ever we wanted. Communication has been excellent, every little question was answered without hesitation and I was made to feel like there was no stupid questions. Roll forward to now and we have just has the install finished, and to say I was happy with the result is an understatement. The install was simple, stress free and is working exactly as I wanted it to. From the initial proposal Dan was fantastic updates all the way through, free for any question and answered every time. Working with Dan felt like a personal service that was tailored to us, a really difference from the larger companies. We had a fox battery system installed, 17 panels and an Indra EV charger - Already 3 days into the system we’ve been battery and solar only. The Indra charger wouldn’t connect to our WiFi being the other side of the garage, without hesitation Dan and the team rushed off to buy WiFi boosters came back and set up the charger. ——— Our process: Jan 11th - Initial enquiry DNO authorisation - 30th Jan Scaffolding arrived - 9th Feb Instal - 10th-12th Feb the system working instanlty 17th Feb - Scaffolding gone —— Our system 17x 450w Aiko panels 6kwh fox inverter 10.4kwh fox ep12 battery Indra car charger ——- Highly recommend Uk Solar and battery to anyone, in fact I already have recommended them to friends.

The quote was brilliant. Cheapest I got for the size of the system installed. That always goes in the plus column 😉. Whole process was seamless and the guys were very efficient. They did their best to work around my busy schedule and in the end got everything up and running in one day. System was active immediately and now I am close to 100% self sufficient on electricity even with it being winter. Take it from someone who did tons of research and took 2 years just deciding on it, these guys are the best. Would recommend them a thousand times over.

Wow! Just wow. These boys from uk solar were the bees knees. Everything run smoothly from start to finish,from the moment they arrived to fitting my solar system to the time they left. Nothing was no trouble for them and the communication throughout the fitting was second to none. Highly recommended if you’re looking for solar and by far the cheapest around. Excellent communication and knowledge. Came out for the day, installed 30Kwh of batteries and a hybrid inverter. They were super friendly and helpful and everything is working perfectly!

After dealing with so many solar companies full of agents and shady sales tactics, this was a huge relief. They came within two days with a clear, transparent offer and a great price. Was going to go with octopus, and they said they could get 11 panels on my roof, then spoke to dan and he said he’d be able to do 14 panels, and he was £2,500 cheaper. Brilliant communication, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely nice blokes. Anyone I know thinking about solar panels, I’ll be making sure they contact dan first. Get at em!

I have got mine installed and Dan & Mike have done a great job despite the weather condition. All explanations were clear and precise with all necessary paperwork handed on time. I will strongly recommend because they are very helpful and the price is afforadble with no hidden costs.

That’s exactly why I wanted to share my experience - they absolutely deserve recognition. The level of service before, during, and after installation has been exceptional, and I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone considering solar. Savings are already noticeable, and that’s before Octopus has even finalised my export tariff. As I head into winter, I’m already thinking ahead to expanding my setup - and I’ll be going straight back to Danny and the team at UK Solar.

Superb company. Very competitively priced. I had a full solar system installed in a day. They have followed up with me to check everything is working so excellent service. Would recommend! I’m now 100% off grid during the day which is great as I work from home.

Very pleased with my solar and battery that was installed, the guys were great, the whole process was easy, nothing was an issue despite me asking for the battery install in the smallest most awkward place, would of been in and out within a day had it not been for ridiculously high winds. Cant recommend these guys enough!!

Great service from first requesting a quote to fitting. Nothing was too much trouble. installation of panels and battery completed without issue. Everything was cleared up after fitting and full run down of how the system work was provided. They made sure I was 100% happy before leaving. Highly recommended.
