We used Nexus to rebuild / repair the wall in front of our house . We found them very good , very quick with the quote . The building work very good , mess cleared up each day . Polite & friendly builders . Would recommend to others & would use them again .

Ive used Nexus ,several times for a Victorian house refurbishment ,they have always been first class and they are always my first choice.Nexus get the basics right ,they show up when they say they will ,they do the work to a high standard ,they give practical advice based on years of experience that keeps the project moving and on budget and they can also adapt quickly if needs be.The crew they use are courteous ,tidy and great to be around - highly recommended.

I was looking for someone in the construction business in the Scarborough area to help with a small job on my mothers house. The phone was answered by a delightful and helpful young lady. Paul explained his company’s history and philosophy regarding the standard they set for themselves and the service they want to provide. There was no need to look elsewhere.

Couldn't be happier with everything Nexus have done after a massive flood.carpets walls and ceiling where ruined .They have done an amazing job and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family .

We decided to get a new kitchen and take down a wall to make it open plan. We been recommended to call Nexus, but we had not heard much about this company before. Once we made the call we were approached by Paul. He came around and advised us on the plan and how things would work. Things started to move quickly and we were given a start date. Then we met Charles who is their team leader - he was very helpful and explained us a lot of things. The rest of the staff were very kind, approachable and professional, especially one member really stuck out ( Ducky) he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. His tiling work was amazing as it looks like a piece of artwork in our kitchen. We would definitely recommend Nexus and use them again ourselves in the future.

Fantastic company, they brought the bathroom of my dreams to life for a reasonable price. They kept in contact the whole time making sure to keep my in the loop as to what was happening, and also would contact me to make sure that all fittings and fixtures were the ones we wanted. I 100% recommend them and will be using them on projects in the future.

Nexus was recommended to us when we moved to Scarborough 6 months ago. We needed a major project of work on our new house: garage conversion, new kitchen, two new bathrooms, new windows and doors. The quotes were promptly provided and all elements were explicit. In our many years of house ownership, we have needed much work doing on property but we have never met a team anything like this. They started on time, worked hard, turned up daily and finished as expected. Every single member of the team was professional, courteous and tidy. What blew us away was the quality of the work. Attention to detail was exemplary from every quarter. The finish was breathtaking. The premises were cleaned, tidied and restored before completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Nexus for your home development. You will not match the quality.

Nexus recently did my bathroom renovation and I am delighted with the results. It was quite a big job and the team were great, always friendly and very helpful. I particularly liked the fact that they kept you informed of what was happening, and answered any questions I had with patience and integrity. Well, where do I start? We were wanting to completely refit our kitchen and that required some building work to be done first, the old existing coal house and toilet rooms that housed our washing machine, tumble drier and freezer were to be knocked through so as to make it a longer kitchen area. On recommendation from Louise at MKM on Columbus Ravine we contacted John at Nexus here in Scarborough, John came to see us within a couple of days to discuss with us our options of what could be done with his expert knowledge to totally transform our kitchen. Ducky from Nexus and Louise from MKM arranged to visit us a few days later to measure and suggest how the kitchen could or would look when completed. We spoke to John on the telephone a few days later as we thought we would like to have work done in the dining room also. John sent over an estimate of the cost of the work to be done along with an estimated timescale of how long the work would take to complete. The work started in early January with builders, plumbers, electricians, joiners and plasterers alike, each and every one of them were pleasant, courteous and professional throughout. The work was completed within the given timescale of four weeks. We would without doubt thoroughly recommend Nexus for any building, joinery or electrical work that you require. I had solar panels installed on my house 16 months ago. At NO time since then have they operated properly. Power has got through to the mains a couple of times, the battery has been fully charged since it was installed - because it has never fed power back into my house. All that money - for what? Precisely nothing. Yes, I tried the installers and the power company as well as a couple of local electrical firms - NOBODY could solve my problem! I'm not an electrician, I wanted answers, not technical garbage!! Then I took a chance with NEXUS and - all of a sudden - the sun coming out means more than the rain has stopped. Now I have money coming back to me for the power I am feeding into the mains! My power bills are being reduced by using power from my expensive panels!! I thought that was what it was all about! How foolish could I have been. Big investment, no return. UNTIL ----- NEXUS!! Well done to Rob and the lads at Nexus, you're permanently on my list of service providers from now on.

We asked Nexus in for a chat about a house refurbishment and extension. Paul and John were full of ideas and gave us options we had not thought of. They gave a prompt quote for both parts of our project within budget. Work was started promptly and took around 6 months to complete - it would have been quicker, however, we remained living in the house throughout, and they worked around us, ensuring we always had adequate living space. The house was gutted, all windows and internal doors replaced and some structural changes which have given us a much improved layout. Communication was excellent throughout, and there was no problem with our occasional changes of mind as the project progressed. We are absolutely delighted with the result, and will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended.

Since contacting Nexus to upgrade my Solar system, I have been impressed with their approach to the project. Never rushed and given a number of options to optimise the upgrade to my solar system. They provided various price points and discussed, at length, the pros and cons of the various solutions Having decided the appropriate solution, the install was started promptly on the agreed date and was completed within the agreed timescales in a professional manor. Left the site as they found it and have been there with support as we bed the new system in. All relevant paperwork and certification was provided promptly after the work had been completed. All in all, an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. Great Job👍

From first contacting Nexus to them finishing my Solar Panel Project, I can only compliment how good they are to deal with, with their Knowledge, Professionalism, Punctuality, and extremely friendly approach. Nothing is an issue when I wanted a couple of extras to the scope. The guys were all polite and respectful to everyone in my household. Would definitely use Nexus again in the future if the opportunity arises and can only recommend them.

exactly what you would expect ( doesn't happen a lot these days) - workmanship excellent, communication spot on, cleaning up after done - one very happy customer and would use again and highly recommend

.Nexus built our kitchen extension and created a downstairs toilet. They carried out all works except decorating. They were very efficient with trades turning up as they were required and completed the project in 8weeks with one week out because of the weather. Very pleased with the work and the staff were polite and helpful.

Solar Energy System Nexus have provided a highly professional service at a competitive price. The workmanship was an exceptionally high standard. We’re really pleased with our Sun Synk inverter and battery storage - We can see in real time how much electricity we are producing, using and exporting. We can also check system performance.
