We decided to get a new kitchen and take down a wall to make it open plan. We been recommended to call Nexus, but we had not heard much about this company before. Once we made the call we were approached by Paul. He came around and advised us on the plan and how things would work. Things started to move quickly and we were given a start date. Then we met Charles who is their team leader - he was very helpful and explained us a lot of things. The rest of the staff were very kind, approachable and professional, especially one member really stuck out ( Ducky) he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. His tiling work was amazing as it looks like a piece of artwork in our kitchen. We would definitely recommend Nexus and use them again ourselves in the future.

Well, where do I start? We were wanting to completely refit our kitchen and that required some building work to be done first, the old existing coal house and toilet rooms that housed our washing machine, tumble drier and freezer were to be knocked through so as to make it a longer kitchen area. On recommendation from Louise at MKM on Columbus Ravine we contacted John at Nexus here in Scarborough, John came to see us within a couple of days to discuss with us our options of what could be done with his expert knowledge to totally transform our kitchen. Ducky from Nexus and Louise from MKM arranged to visit us a few days later to measure and suggest how the kitchen could or would look when completed. We spoke to John on the telephone a few days later as we thought we would like to have work done in the dining room also. John sent over an estimate of the cost of the work to be done along with an estimated timescale of how long the work would take to complete. The work started in early January with builders, plumbers, electricians, joiners and plasterers alike, each and every one of them were pleasant, courteous and professional throughout. The work was completed within the given timescale of four weeks. We would without doubt thoroughly recommend Nexus for any building, joinery or electrical work that you require. Nexus recently did my bathroom renovation and I am delighted with the results. It was quite a big job and the team were great, always friendly and very helpful. I particularly liked the fact that they kept you informed of what was happening, and answered any questions I had with patience and integrity. .Nexus built our kitchen extension and created a downstairs toilet. They carried out all works except decorating. They were very efficient with trades turning up as they were required and completed the project in 8weeks with one week out because of the weather. Very pleased with the work and the staff were polite and helpful.
