Fitted new boiler and had a service polite people and proper people to deal with recommend to all my friends

After having my 4 year old boiler given its regular yearly service, a fault showed up the next day and I had no heating or hot water. Phoned the company to ask for help that day, as something had clearly happened as a result of the visit . No luck there! 😪 Service department person who answered the phone was the most unhelpful person I've met so far...asking me if I'd tried resetting it myself...I'm not an engineer...telling me I'd have to pay for a call out and all charges...really? Shouting at me and sounding aggressive when I queried why they couldn't assist urgently as it was definitely linked to the previous visit. I wonder if they would like to be left dangling in the middle of January with no heating or hot water, trying to care for an elderly relative? Hope that the person who answered the phone eventually realises that local people support local businesses, based on good customer service! Got help from another source. Won't be using them again

Had a radiator fitted about 3 years ago now all rusting at bottom contacted them about it sent them pictures also guess what they want 60 pounds to come out and inspect their own faulty incompetence radiators that aren't up to standard my other radiator lasted over 35 years no rust what soever they just don't want to replace it so they find it easy to charge to do their own faults yer right find another sucker .also had boiler serviced by british gas engineer and he had found faults with installation that castle point gas central heating installed they should of put a double s bend on pipe work to allow better flow of water because I had a higher out put boiler installed so they didn't do that properly so contacted them and guess what they are disagree with the engineers report what a surprise they won't admit they did any wrong and was following manufacture instructions so that says to me that they didn't survey the job properly and now want more money to rectify their own mess yer right and also cowboys come to mind and they don't like confrontation or criticism so be aware people don't up set them they take it very seriously and every one think twice three times before you pick up the phone and use their services because you will experience problems and you will be paying them money to rectify their own faults

Castle Point Gas and Heating came out to install a new boiler in my 82 year old father's bungalow. Work was completed very well and the after-care has been most reassuring. When there was a small issue, the team came out the next day and Chris waited with my Dad and I until the plumber came back to sort it out. They also helped him set up his timer and phoned both myself and my father to check everything was working the next day. They've also kindly popped back to fix an issue with his kitchen tap. Nothing has been too much trouble and the office staff also have been friendly, responsive and did what they said they would do at the time they said they would! We looked at a few options to get this work done and are so pleased we went with this local company. They provide good, old-fashioned service which is a rare find these days. I have already recommended this company to two friends as a result of this work and we'll be using them ourselves in future. Thanks all at Castle Point Gas and Heating - a great company and we could not be happier.

Brad and Guy done an excellent job of fitting a new boiler and 7 new radiators. They put dust sheets down in all the rooms and on the stairs. Explained everything that they were doing and answered any questions that we had very clearly. Cleared up any mess and took it away.

What Lovely Guys are Twins Tafari and Rashard and also Paddy. Really Respectful in my home, pleasant, works hard and well, they did a great job of my heating system and New Combi Boiler, I was so satisfied, they were neat and tidied up and communicated so well letting me know what they were doing. They are a Asset to the organisation, I think they should be promoted or have a pay rise, it is very rare to come across workmen in your home like that nowadays, as a women I felt very comfortable having them in my home.

I've been having problems with Essex homes new gas contractor. they serviced my boiler. Then left me with no hot water for over 2 weeks , put danger of fire stickers all over boiler , + a letter l had to sign. NOT TO USE , then told by service man. And the company, when l phoned them , l could use the hot water ? Fire /gas? I phoned this company at least 5 or 6 times , to find out if they had ordered the front of boiler they said l needed. Then on Tuesday l was told it would be at best a 5 week wait. lm 78 disabled having to take washing up into bathroom to wash up.. With the help from the southend council. ZARA, from custmer service & STEVE manager sent in my , The HEROES FROM CASTLE POINT GAS & HEATING , Yesterday. There was Chris who called on Wednesday, to look at the boiler, 8am thursday 2 lovely gas fitters ,James & Dylan arrived, fitted me a full new boiler, worked hard and they respected my home , and myself , cleaned up when finshed , fantastic 👍 , then another lovely man arrived ,Vinnie, the electrician, who finished the job off. Gave my home and myself respect

I am happy to proudly recommend the Castle Point, Gas & Heating Co. From the moment I spoke to lovely Eileen in the office I knew that things were going to go well. Paul the inspector is an equally friendly person and a great ambassador for the team. James & Dan worked very hard and efficiently and had removed the old boiler and 6 rads & replaced them with new all before 1pm. Luke the electrician is another great member of the team - his work is excellent and very precise. All three men were waiting outside in their vans very early in the morning - it was so wonderful not having to wait in all day for their arrival. Also, thank you to Raymond for making a boiler casing.

I would like to thank Castle point gas and heating for a fantastic service boiler broke down called them out told not sure how much it would cost to repair as it was 18 years old.So only took 2 Days and had a new one installed by a fantastic team.Would highly recommend using them.And thanks for Karen for all her help as well.

After having my boiler replaced around 5 years ago, I had no qualms recommending this company to do the same for my parents when their boiler was condemned. They couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, even insisting my Mum got other quotes before accepting theirs when they came along to price the work up. During the installation, the engineer was clean and tidy in all the work he did, putting all the rubbish and packaging into the box the boiler came in and took it all away with him. Electrician to fit the thermostat arrived on time, and again, neat and tidy. Above and beyond helpful was my Dad's opinion of the company, and he doesn't give praise too easily. Thanks guys, it's always a worry recommending companies, especially when it's for elderly parents, but the job you did for me 5 years ago has earnt you some well deserved brownie points.

After a long stint, finally my old boiler packed up at my rental property. I contacted these guys out to help me with a replacement boiler. For me it remained important that the boiler was right for the property. Chris came out and spoke to me and my tenant about what we needed and within a few days I received a really good quote in my opinion and there was a fare bit of work to be undertaken. Within a few days and after a full survey the team had removed the old back boiler, drained and dried the tank in the loft, removed the water tank and replaced with a new boiler, The boiler was installed and set up wonderfully follow by the electrician and the builder who made good all the things needed to make everything look fabulous. Fortunately for me this was undertaken in the summer and not the winter when they get super busy. I dealt with Karen ( the legend in the office) most of the time making sure everything was in order, detailed in full what was to take place and held my hand all the way. Not only am I a happy customer I have have a happy tenant too- woo hoo! Thank you so much for your professional approach, good nature and civil grace. Jane Cooper

I also would like to say how impressed I was by Castlepoint. The excellent manager responsible for the works was Scott who made himself available and who was also very professional and pleasant to deal with. His staff: Vinny (electrician), Ray (builder/carpenter), Dan and Brandon (boiler engineers) were superb - turning up early and working very hard - without breaks. They were effective, professional, good-humoured and unbelievably clean. Excellent in every way. Castlepoint sets a very high standard indeed. Exemplary in every way and I recommend them without hesitation.

I stupidly bled my radiators on the coldest day of the year and lost water pressure in my combi-boiler. I rang Castle Point to get some help and although they were fully booked managed to talk me through re-filling over the phone... I cannot tell you how grateful I am!!! Will definitely use them going forward.

Absolutely wonderful company. Had to have a new boiler fitted. From speaking with Karen on the phone 4 days before, to having 2 polite and clean fella’s fitting a new Valliant boiler, then seamless transition to electrical team who turned up in perfect timing. In less than 4 hours I had a fitted boiler and a much desired bath run. Special shout out to George who put me at ease instantly with his polite and informative manner (as a single mum I am often nervous with strangers coming into my home). Thank you!

Thank you so much to Chris, Karen and the engineers (Dan in particular). What I thought would be a really painful project ended up being so simple and straight forward thanks to you all. So pleased we made contact and went with Castle Point Gas, we really could not have asked for better service. You all went above and beyond converting us from an all electric house to a home with gas boiler and full central heating system. Our house is now lovely and warm all over making it homely and comfortable during the cold weather. Will definitely be recommending to others and using for any future work needed.

I am a relative of a customer of CASTLE POINT GAS & HEATING CO. LIMITED. They arranged a replacement of old boiler mate to unvented cylinder. It is rare to find such good customer care these days and I wanted to share how impressed I have been from the service engineers to the director. Not only did they do exactly what my mum wanted but they have offered exemplary customer care since. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. Well done all!

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Scott when arranging 7 replacement radiators and boiler work. He oversaw the whole process, from ordering to completion of all work, which was carried out excellently by Darren. Professional, punctual, efficient, clean and tidy, and kept me well informed at all times - I would recommend this company!

A brilliant service provided by Castle Point Gas and Heating. They changed our aged boiler with professionalism, courtesy and speed. Any mess made in the removal of the old boiler was cleared up promptly. They explained how to use the new boiler with total confidence in the product. The Gas Safety Certificate was was supplied the next working day. Every member of staff we came into contact with was polite, well presented, and knew their job. Would defintely recommend them, without any doubt the best service we have received from any company we have instructed.
