Highly recommended. This is the third property we have installed solar panels. The last two were with a different company, who we approached, but Nano pro-tech (NPT) gave us a much better quote for 12 x 485W Aiko panels and a Tesla 3 powerwall with gateway. We had actually done quite a lot of research and comparison, not wanting to go with the cheapest, as the service and aftercare has always been important for us. Ryan has always been incredibly responsive, giving genuine opinions and drove all the way to north Norfolk to come and survey the house, that is in a conservation area. Carlos, the electrician was excellent and professional. We felt very sorry that he got a huge puncture on the way, having got up early, so returned a few days later to complete the job. He made sure that everything was working before leaving. Poppy and the admin team were amazing at keeping us informed with dates for scaffolding, installation, clearing the rubbish, and I was so impressed at how quickly they sorted out the MCS, DNO and MPAN. Their 5.0 rating on various websites is genuine, and now I know why! So glad we chose you.

I thoroughly recommend Nanoprotec. Their pre sales (Bill), install team and after sales service were the best I’ve come across (having had installs on three previous properties). Our system looks fantastic. I was nervous about the economics as our house faces East West but the panels are delivering 15% more than forecast meaning more income and a much shorter and very acceptable payback period. Lots of companies out there doing the same thing but I’ve no reason to ever go with anyone else in future than Nanoprotec! Thank you Ryan and team!! 🎉

We installed a solar PV system with battery storage (Tesla Powerwall 3) and had a genuinely excellent experience. Ryan got in touch very quickly, took the time to understand what we needed, and explained the options clearly. During the on-site visit, the team patiently answered all our questions, and the fact that no deposit was required gave us real peace of mind. Everything from the DNO application and scaffolding to installation and commissioning, was handled smoothly and efficiently. The system was up and running within just 1.5 days, which exceeded our expectations. The administration team also followed up promptly with all the necessary documentation. It was a reassuring and stress-free experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Great Experience from Start to Finish

Contacted Nano-Pro Tech to get a comparative quote against a Solar Together proposal and they were just great from start to finish. Really knowledgeable and approachable on the phone with no hard-sell, put a better and cheaper proposal together within a couple of days, got the site survey done within a week, then the whole installation done the week after. Not fuss at all. Everyone turned up when they were supposed to, was kept informed and installation all done within one day. I highly recommend these guys.

Was recommended Nano Protech from a parent at the school my children go to who used Ryan and his team for their solar panels. Had a quote and a design made up for my property with a very reasonable price compared to other quotes I had received.l, also quoting for my parents and wife’s parents at the same time. I supplied my own scaffolding and then had the team arrive and work in a professional and timely manner managing to complete the install in 1 day. Cannot recommend this company enough. We were going to go direct with our energy supplier but because of our cladding it was "too difficult' to do. We shopped around and got a few quotes and from the moment I spoke to Daren I knew that we were in professional and safe hands. He recommended that we could have additional panels that were never suggested by any other company and they are also very competitive in price compared to other companies. Installation was done very quickly and so far our energy bills have been slashed in half and we are now not in the peak time for sunshine so I'm really looking forward to the summer months! I’ll be honest — I was very sceptical at first about getting solar panels. Most of the companies I spoke to came across as pushy and only interested in making a sale. Nano Pro Tech were the complete opposite. From my first conversation with Ryan, the Managing Director, I could tell this was a company that cared about doing things properly. Decided to go with Nano-Pro Tech for my solar and battery storage install project, after lots of personal research and down selecting from over half a dozen quotes. Professional and helpful from start to finish and beyond. They were the most flexible and willing to work with me to get me the install that I wanted. I had many interactions with Lizzy, Ryan and Poppy, who were all very helpful throughout. Everything happened when they said it would including scaffolding erection, hardware delivery, install and scaffolding removal. The install team showed up on time on all three days of the install, despite being a 2 hour drive each way. They worked long and hard days and kept me updated along the way. Very happy with the overall quality of install, which is top notch. After the install, Ryan and Poppy were quick to sort out all of the paperwork I needed to register for export. With all the right paperwork and along with the help of Octopus, I had my export MPAN and tariff set up less than two weeks after completion of install. Now having had the system for a few weeks, I can say that it has been performing well over and does exactly what I want it to. I’ve sized the system to suit my needs for the moment, however, I anticipate expanding it in the future and will be going back to Nano-Pro Tech for that. Ryan has been following up after the install to ensure everything is working and been helping with any questions I had. Thanks to Ryan and the team for looking after the project. It’s rare these days to have people who listen to your needs, do what they say they will, when they say they will; and take pride in their work.

I had my system (solar & battery) installed by Nano-ProTech in September 2025. The following is a summary of the process and my thoughts on how it went: A remote survey and many/many emails/questions about the setup.ii This involved discussion on efficiency, likely output and future proofing. David was my initial contact. He was very patient and helpful during the whole process. This stage dragged on for quite some time (all down to me). I had been in touch with various companies (as you'd expect) but the reason I went with this company was down to David. A lot of the other companies were not as responsive to my incessant questioning, thinking I was just wasting their time. David hower was persistent and responded, in what I consider a timely manner. Next there was an on site survey. I think the main purpose of the site visit was just to "dot the Is and cross the Ts". Just making sure there were no surprises and checking the run of the wires etc. Unfortunately there were still some surprises during the installation but that could well have been down to me not being clear in what I wanted. I was then away for a few weeks which gave time to deal with the DNO application and purchases. What I found amazing was there was no deposit, they didn't ask for anything until it was all up and running. I think given the size of my system they were supposed to get a small deposit but they didn't. Then came the installation. I was taken aback that it was only scheduled to take two days; One for scaffolding and one for the system itself. Scaffolding - these guys were super quick. Due to the layout of the house they initially were going to fix the scaffolding to the wall but after explaining we didn't really like that idea they found a different mechanism of setting it up safely without drilling. A good group of guys that worked well. Installation - Scott (electrician) & Pavel (panel installer). They were both very professional and hard working. Scott in particular was very helpful and answered all my questions on the setup. Not only did he ensure all the standards were met he made sure that his workmanship was aesthetically pleasing and in keeping with our home. On the whole the installation was plain sailing and stress free. There was one issue regarding the location of the gateway. Initially they wanted it installed at the front porch but I didn't want that for various reasons. Realising I was not happy with this approach, they came up with an alternative of placing it on an outside wall. Though I've seen many pictures of the gateway mounted outside, I was still a little concerned about rainfall. Once again Ryan organised a canopy that would ensure there was no direct rainfall. In summary, my experience of Nano-protech has been a very positive one. They have been professional and diligent regarding the install but moreover they've been careful and considerate to the property and it's aesthetics. I've not had any real issues yet so I cannot speak to their aftercare but given how they dealt with gateway location (proactive in finding solutions rather than bogged down in plans), I hope and believe they will be just as good there too.

Outstanding service from start to finish. We did a lot of research and had various quotes from other companies. Nanopro-tech just made us feel we were in safe hands. The pricing is extremely competitive compared to other companies and in some cases saving nearly £3K. From the scaffolders to the install everyone was professional, friendly, tidy and efficient. I cannot recommend this company enough. Do not bother going elsewhere!!

I was first made aware of Nano Pro-Tech when my next door neighbour, Bruce was having his solar panels installed. Had it not have been for the fact that he had pre-warned me, I would not have known they were there. Efficiency, professionalism and workmanship are a few words that spring to mind. After seeing the results and hearing how cheap his electricity bill was I thought I would get aboard. I made en enquiry and I was greeted at the other end of the line by Emily. As well as being polite and courteous, she also had great knowledge about the products and was able to answer any questions I had with aplomb. We agreed a price, a date to have the work started and the rest is history; 4 months in and my bills have never been cheaper. Nano pro-tech really are the giants of the solar panel based arena.

Nano completed the full install for me, solar and battery, they went out of their way to ensure I was completely satisfied with the work and were understanding with all my queries. I have to say Bill on sales was the most knowledgeable of all the firms I spoke to, and I did shop around. He was also honest about any shading, did not try to upsell me but gave me honest advice.

From first contact with Lizzy to final installation I was given plenty of great advice and help in selecting the best battery to match the solar panels. Since installation we haven't had to buy more than a few hundred watts from the grid. I would highly recommend Nano ProTech without hesitation. We chose Nano Pro Tech for our solar installation based on Lizzie’s strong local reputation. The pricing was competitive, and the installation process went smoothly. We went with 17 panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3. During an unusually sunny March, we were generating around 40–45kWh per day. Not long after the system was installed, we had a power cut. The Powerwall 3 kicked in within seconds — aside from a brief flicker, we barely noticed the switch. I’d definitely recommend including Nano in your shortlist when gathering solar quotes.

My experience with Nano Pro Tech was nothing short of exceptional. During pre-sales, Bill was well informed and responsive to my queries, this combined with a very competitive quote resulted in me progressing the work with Nano and I'm so very glad that I did. Following contract signature, scaffolding was arranged promptly and I was kept up to date with development by Emily in the office. We had originally planned to have our energy provider install a solar system with a Tesla Powerwall battery. We thought their quote was good but they wouldn’t fit the lower 3 panels we wanted because of access to the loft space below where they would be sited. We still went ahead. However, over 3 months they continually mucked us about. A remote survey was done and they completely missed next doors overhead power cable passes close to our roof, thus needing UK Power Networks to inspect it to make it safe. They sub contracted the electrical works to a company who basically lied to us that we didn’t need an earth rod fitted, we did to enable the full functionality of the Tesla Powerwall. We decided enough was enough and took to the internet to find another installer, and happily came across Nano-pro tec. On checking their very good reviews and they were based locally to us, we felt confident to go ahead. Peter the salesman gave us a very good quote, which including the additional 3 panels was a similar price to our other quote. Darren, Emily and Ryan have been on the ball and keeping in constant contact.We had a site survey which gave us confidence to commit. Scaffolding and system/battery installation was completed in one day. A very neat job, all tradesmen were polite. Although some of our decking needed to be taken up to fit the earth rod and Tesla Powerwall, you would never know. We are now enjoying free electricity. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. From start to finish it has been a wonderful experience following what had become a very stressful experience with our energy company’s solar team.

I spent hours of the internet trying to clarify the issue of sticking to the rules when installing a small 'balcony' size PV system, but just got muddled. I spoke to Steve from Nano Protec and within two minutes got into the picture that the scale of my endeavour was not requiring an MCS ceritified installer as there would be no exporting, and so long as the inverter is below 3.7kw the Network Operator does not need informing of my grid connected micro-micro generator. You can't beat professionals kindly letting you know the nut and bolts.

Fantastic all-round service for Tesla Powerwall installation

From beginning to end it has been a pleasure dealing with Nano Pro-Tech. I approached them for the installation cost of a Tesla Powerwall 3 and they came back quickly with a very competitive quote. After accepting the quote, they supported me in my slightly unusual requirements with a rapid response to both phone calls and emails. I wanted to install the battery in an outbuilding so had decided to get a builder to dig a trench and put conduit in to take the cables to the consumer unit. Nano provided me with the conduit and all the necessary cables so that we could lay them in in advance of installation. On the day of installation the electricians turned up on time and were very courteous. Again they took on board my specific requirements, including going out of their way to move an isolation switch for our EV charge point to accommodate the Tesla back-up unit in the location I wanted, and at the end, after installation, running through the training video with me so that I could hit the ground running. All the work was done very tidily and any mess from cable cutting and drilling was vacuumed up leaving the place clean. In summary everything went extremely smoothly and I can't recommend them too highly to anyone interested in solar or home batteries. I spent months investigating the pros and cons of having a solar installation on our former farm here in west Wales. We wanted to be essentially ‘off grid’ so a solar array and batteries were clearly the way to go. Having looked at numerous battery manufacturers only the Tesla Powerwall 3 appeared to have the specifications to manage this, given their unique ability to handle a much higher peak demand than other batteries. Having decided on the hardware the much tougher task was which company to select to supply and install. I contacted a few from the approved installer list however there was a delay in the PW3s coming into the country. Ryan’s team at Nano-Protech noted my enquiry and called me back as soon as stock hit the U.K. (they appear to have a very good relationship with Tesla) They sent a surveyor (free of charge and no obligation) all the way across the country to discuss our options on site. This was invaluable, as given our rural location and space we were able to plan a substantial array linked to two PW3s, additionally Ryan managed to secure, from our network operator, the maximum permitted single phase export permission. We were kept updated on progress leading up to the install. The two man team led by Dan Henson carried out the install over a couple of very long days (Dan was still running cables and doing prelim work at midnight!) The workmanship was exemplary, (check out the photos) The price for supply and install was extremely competitive. (Nearly half the price of another quote which was offering inferior hardware). Given the financial investment, it is also vital that you select an installer that offers good follow up support. So far I can’t fault Nano-Protech, Ryan responds promptly to queries and Dan has offered technical advice not only on the install but on wider electrical solutions. There are a lot of Solar installers about these days but in my experience it would be hard to beat the service and value for money offered by Ryan, Dan and the team at Nano Protech. Highly recommended.

Nano Pro-Tech Review

From the initial consultation to the final commissioning, the overall process was carried out professionally. An issue was highlighted during the initial fit with our low pitched roof which meant that the original solar panel mounts could not be used. Several solutions were proposed to overcome this issue and we finally agreed on an in-roof solution. Some supply issues did delay to the installation a little. Ryan and Steven were extremely helpful in explaining the final in-roof solution, which also meant we did not need any bird deterrent mesh fitted. The engineers that installed the solar panels, hybrid inverter and battery did a great job, very tidy, very polite and went above and beyond to complete the install in a day and a half, working late into the evening, despite the freezing temperatures in January 23. The system that was delivered was demonstrated in the subsequent handover. Email communication can be slow. That said, Ryan does reply to WhatsApp messages instantly, even late in the evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone that is looking to invest in and benefit from a solar panels/storage solution.

The reason I chose Nano Pro, because they weren’t fussy like the other companies I explored, I got the panels and batteries exactly where I wanted to be installed. Friendly service from start to finish. Job done in a day or two. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I wasn't informed about contacting my provider with the necessary paperwork. I had to wait over a month before everything was up and running how it should be. However, I would highly recommend Nano Pro. because of their friendly service.

Excellent company to work with...

Solar is a relatively new product to the market and was especially new to us. Nano-pro.tech were extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything. The installation went very smoothly, as promised. We did encounter a hiccup along the way and they were particularly professional in resolving this issue.

Nanopro-tech installed our solar panels and storage battery nearly 18months ago, and it has out performed our expectations. From the start, Nanopro-tech worked with us to specify the best system, which was a challenge with our unconventional roof design. 11 panels were neatly installed onto the available south east and south westerly facing pitched roofs and the small flat roof of our extension. The result has been better than expected and has performed better over a year than friends systems of a more traditional layout. If you’re thinking about installing solar then do it! Nanopro-tech performed well for us and I’d highly recommend that you use them to install your system.

Firstly the staff at Nano Pro-Tech were very helpful, they listened to answered all my questions and concerns. I was kept informed at every stage of the process which was surprisingly short from ordering to final fit. The fitters were amazing did a very neat job and were courteous (perhaps the coffee and chocolate biscuits helped). The final result looks great but the best thing of all is when I look at our smart meter during the day and see nothing but zeroes!
