The person that called back after that was "Jay" from "Cozy Home Solutions". When I explained that the original call was illegal I got a torrent of abuse back from him.

Had a solar assessment with Cozy Home Solutions earlier on this week. The representative (Andre) arrived on time, explained everything thoroughly about the company and solar panels. I decided to go ahead with the solar panels and the office have been brilliant with keeping me updated regarding the install time and what’s going on. Looking forward to getting my panels installed.

They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the options available before starting the work. Illegal cold calls to TPS listed number

Great service & follow-up support

The Cozy Homes team delivered a fantastic presentation explaining how solar could be used on our property, giving us clear guidance on where panels would be placed, the power-generation and the potential savings that the panels will deliver to our property. Installation took place less that a week after agreeing to move forward, and the team handling the installation were polite, professional and tidied up after themselves. We're just under 2 weeks in from installation, and if the app supporting the system is to be believed, we are managing to run the house almost entirely off of Solar (in February!) with the exception of a short period of battery charging in the early hours of the morning. Aftercare has been very good, and I am confident that if I go to the team with any issues I am facing, they will be resolved promptly.

Being a sceptical person

Being a sceptical person, I was both happy and relieved with the outcome of my Solar panel installation. Adrian was 10 minutes late, however, he more than made up for it with a detailed explanation and a suitable price. The fitting team arrived on time and as promised completed a wonderful installation with no hiccups. I will for sure recommend Cozy Home Solutions to anyone that needs satisfaction. Ade

They knocked on my door claiming they were installing solar panels on the road next to mine and were providing quotes in the local area. The following day he arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes late, by which point we were no longer available. When I queried the delay he stated it had taken him 2.5 hours to get here, which contradicted the earlier claim that they were already working on the next road over. Based on this experience I found the approach unreliable and misleading. I chose not to proceed and would advise others to be cautious.

A breath of fresh air

What a breath of fresh air this company has been. I've been thinking of solar for my home for some time when one of CozY homes door knockers ? ( if that's what you call them ) asked me if I would like a quote I found him presentable and knowledgeable so agreed. A couple of days later Matt came to survey and again a really nice guy who knew his stuff, we looked at number of different options and landed on a system that generated enough electricity to cover my electric bill even though my roof could take more panels. I agreed the price on the basis that I would receive a certificate ensuring my savings where correct which I did a couple of days before my system was installed. The guys who installed the panels where on time and worked without stop until the job was finished again they where helpful and knew exactly what they where doing. I've had my system just over a month now and everything I was told about savings and about how much electricity my system would generate has been spot on. So to Mat and the team at Cozy Home Solutions I would like to say a massive and thankyou. And without doubt I highly recommend this company.

Poor communication.

They knocked on my door claiming they were installing solar panels on the road next to mine and were providing quotes in the local area. We booked an appointment for the next day to have a free quote. Edited for clarity seeing as the business have responded & flagged? The next day: We got a call from Sales Manager Paul to advise the rep would be 30 mins late. Fine. Over 1 hour 10 mins after the appointment time, he arrived, by which point by husband had already left to go back to work. There was no further communication from the company and we had to get on with our day. With 2 children aged 2 and 5 in the house by myself, I did not feel comfortable with letting him in without my husband despite him pleading he’d travelled 2.5 hours. Traffic isn’t his fault - but it is not my fault either and to be honest I thought we’d been quite reasonable in saying ok to him being 30 minutes late. If the company had called again advising of further delays, I could have told them to rebook & this would have been fine. Based on this experience I found the whole experience frustrating, with poor communication. I chose not to proceed and would advise others to be cautious.

Cold called me on Saturday afternoon…

Cold called me on Saturday afternoon from a private number. I will be emailing them to remove my data according to GDPR. Where did you get my number to begin with? EDIT: My GDPR request was handled quick, I didn't receive a formal letter stating what information was holding about myself etc. However, the request was handled rather quickly. Please note this review is not about a product from the company, but regarding the complaint handling. Thansks!

One of their so called sales assistants verbally abused me when I opened the door to a sales pitch . I attempted to politely inform them I wasn’t interested in solar panels but was sworn at. I reported to the company and shared footage of the incident, they told me they were miles away and couldn’t come back to apologise but they actually were across the road still so clearly the attitude and sales practices are taught from above , as they seem to be quite happy to lie about their whereabouts. They have no ID, no lanyards, no branded clothing and no leaflets and should have better credentials. Highly unprofessional company , also not the smartest as they pressed the ring doorbell so they must have known there was footage EDIT - after dealing with a member of staff yesterday who, quite frankly, didn’t really deal with my complaint professionally , I left this review so that someone more senior would have visibility of this. I have since spoken to the business owner who was appalled at the way his staff have dealt with the whole incident (as well as the incident itself of course). He was approachable, honest and accommodating and took action following my feedback. He even took the time to send me an apology gift which I wasn’t expecting and I did not request but it goes to show that a business isn’t always as bad as the people representing it.

Brilliant company throughout.

Fabulous customer service from initial visit and proposal, through to aftercare. Extremely knowledgeable team, led by Daryl and Benji who explained everything in detailed fashion, whilst being kind about any personal misunderstanding (discussions regarding the app functions, where of specific importance to us). The surveyor, installer and electrician were all very polite, friendly and courteous. All work was carried out to a very high standard and all rubbish was removed without asking. I would definitely recommend this team, if you are interested in installing a solar system.

Had a great experience with Cosey Home Solutions. The lads were sound from the first visit, no pushy talk, just straight answers and proper advice. The install was done really neatly, quicker than I expected, and they cleaned up after themselves too. Panels are working brilliantly and I’ve already noticed my bills dropping. Honestly couldn’t fault them. If you’re thinking about getting solar, these are the people you want.

Solar panels and battery installation

We had solar panels and battery quoted by Cosy Homes. Our experience with all involved, a cold caller, sales person, surveyor, operations, installers, office manager and office staff was positive. The customer service is really good, so polite and helpful, and they explain everything well. We are currently going through the process of all approvals to be able to export excess power generated. Our panels are working well, even on dull November days. Only slight negative points, the scaffolders and installation crews turned up 2 days earlier than expected, both crews offered to come back but we were home - I understand a slight communication error between office and installer. Also the installation guys left all of the boxes, polystyrene, metal bar cut offs and all rubbish on our driveway. I did let Cosy Homes know the next day, but I loaded up my car and took it to the local dump as we had nowhere to store it. I did get an apology and I believe they would have collected it once it was reported. Overall a good experience mainly due to how lovely everyone was.

Extremely knowledgeable team, led by Daryl who visited our property after installation to inspect the works and go through app functions. Both the installer and electrician were polite, friendly and courteous. All work carried out and rubbish cleared to high specification. Would recommend this team if you are interested in solar power

Had my insulation installed by CozyHomes, they were helpful and efficient throughout the process, and kept me well up to date with what was going on. I felt reassured, and everyone was so friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend if you planning on getting any energy efficient products.

Absolute joke of a company, highly overselling their systems and then knocking money off of their sales reps when doing commissions - they lie to their reps and their customers - is it a surprise the only other review is from the ceo of the company ?

The company kept me updated with information throughout the whole process and was very patient in explaining who does what within the company. I felt reassured that if I had any more questions in the future, they would be happy to help. They provide clear communication, great customer support, and take the time to make sure you feel confident with the service. False Review Using My Name – Here’s My Real Experience

I would like to clarify that someone has been posting a fake review using my details. My name is Rafiq Rahman, and I can confirm that the review left under the name Raf Rahman is completely false. My actual experience has been very different. At first, I made the mistake of going with the first company without properly checking all the details. After signing their agreement, I realised the deal didn’t sit well with me, especially as I had opted for a lease that would have cost me a lot in the long run. This led me to seek a second and third opinion. During this time, Darryl from Cosy Home got in touch to ask if I had found anyone. After comparing all three companies, I found Cosy Home to be the most suitable for my needs. My initial visit was with Richard, who was very helpful and got me signed up. However, due to my own doubts and lack of understanding, I continued to seek further clarification. Throughout the whole process, Darryl has been extremely helpful — friendly, approachable, and never making me feel pressured to choose them. This gave me a very positive impression. In the end, I decided to proceed with Cosy Home, and I feel confident I made the right choice. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan, and I end up with even more than what I’ve been promised. I obtained another quote which was a lot cheaper so i contact them and they brought their price down to under £9k! How can the price drop over £4k in less than a month.
