⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend this solar company highly enough. They installed a new inverter at my grandad’s property within just two days of identifying the issue, which was incredibly efficient. As I hold Power of Attorney, they kindly phoned me beforehand to ensure I could attend the appointment. I really appreciated this thoughtful approach. Although the visit was initially a health and safety check, they took the time to clearly explain all the details of the installation process and what needed to be done. The gentleman who came out was absolutely lovely – so kind, patient, and professional. He didn’t just inspect the inverter; he carefully showed both my grandad and me the readings and explained how they had been decreasing over the last five quarters. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand, which gave us great confidence in the work being carried out. The installation was completed within a week, and we truly couldn’t be happier. My grandad is over the moon with the outcome. A fantastic service from start to finish – highly recommended!

Scam. Cold called an elderly family member offering a free check up for his solar panels. When I called them to cancel the appointment he had been bullied into they couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Avoid.

Amazing guys, my inverter broke down and I gave them a call within 2 days they have visited my property and identified the issue which meant I needed a new inverter, installer came out within a week to have it installed with an app on my phone so I can monitor it live, I could not be happier with their service

Great people, easy going firm with no nonsense

After being messed around by multiple companies who never bothered to return my calls, finding Optimal Energy Solutions was a breath of fresh air. They have maintained my system for two years now, and without fail they contact me every year to arrange servicing and cleaning. Their reliability really sets them apart. When my inverter stopped working, I contacted them and they had it replaced within a week. I’m genuinely thankful for the effort and care they’ve shown me from the very beginning. Excellent service all round.

Brother signed up with this firm (13/11/25) for a 10 year maintenance plan at a cost of £6000. They promised an engineer within three weeks to sort out the issues we were experiencing eg 2 of 16 panels not working and two optimisers faulty. within three weeks of signing maintenance contract they arrived to wash the panels (??) and now after 2 months we haven't seen an engineer. We've tried to contact the office - lady on phone continually told me she needed to speak to her diary manager - promised to call back within 10 mins. however, she didnt call back and now we cannot get anyone on the phone.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! I have now spoken to four people on the phone and one agent that called. The phone calls told complete packs of lies, ‘you’ve already paid for your health check etc’ the rep that called just wanted to sell me an expensive package. DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!

From the moment I booked the appointment with Eden who was informative and polite and a pleasure to talk too the entire process was seamless. The team was professional, friendly, and arrived right on time. They took the time to explain everything in detail, from the inspection process to the safety measures they were checking for, ensuring that I understood the importance of each step. The technician was thorough, conducting a full evaluation of the panels, wiring, and connections to ensure everything was in top condition. They identified a couple of minor issues that I wasn’t aware of but assured me they were easy to address and provided me with a clear action plan. What really stood out was the level of customer care. They didn’t rush through the assessment, and they took extra time to answer all of my questions. They even offered tips on how to maintain the system to extend its lifespan and keep it performing efficiently. I’m incredibly grateful for the peace of mind this assessment has given me all it cost me was a cup of tea!!! This company helped me fit a large storage unit on my commercial property which has been in my family for decades. Initially I was looking in a different area of renewable energy that I found to be suitable, but after a frank conversation with Angela from the office at OES she told me I should be looking at a large battery storage unit. Following a survey that was done free of charge - it seemed to be the new preferred option, and the installation went smooth. Would certainly recommend to other business owners if you're looking for a straightforward experience.

I have been a customer for less than a year and they have been very trustworthy also helped direct me through the process of buying as well as getting the right product that is needed for my solar panels. I would recommend to anyone that are in need of a better solution and sufficiency with their solar system.

Rang me up even though my landline number is unlisted to try and persuade me to have solar panel maintenance. I Tried to explain this to the advisor and also that my panels are working perfectly , but she rudely hung up on me!

This company called my mum to carry out maintenance on her solar panels. They asked if she had a power of attorney and knowing she did they still went ahead and booked to go and see her. Getting through to them was a nightmare, they rent an office in Brentwood with no signage. They are nothing to do with the company that installed my mum’s solar panels and I made them cancel the appointment and remove her from their call list. Scam!

"Optimal Energy Solutions" cold called my land line and said it had come up on their system that my solar system was overdue its service. Really! It's been installed 12+ years and never needed a service yet. This is yet another solar scam from a company that's sprung up out of nowhere. Nominally from Brentwood I looked up their address and it's Just a couple of rented offices above a retail unit. No signs in the window, no reviews, no history, no track record but hey their website promises great things! Buyer beware. Solar systems do not need "servicing", or indeed (when pressed they'll admit it's actually) "inspecting". If your system is generating, and the green light is on on your inverter, congratulations you're a solar system inspector and you've just serviced it. Other than visually checking your panels are clean.
