Simple green energy insulated my loft & fitted a new boiler. They were quick....clean & very efficient. I am most happy with the work they done for me.

Back boiler removed and combi boiler fitted…

Had fire back boiler removed and had combi boiler fitted. The gas engineers had a big job to do but complete it in one day, staying until 11.30pm, after asking us if that would be okay. We could not fault them, they went above and beyond. Excellent job, would definitely recommend the company and the fitters.

This company appears to be a scam. They collected all of my personal documents, including photos of my house and my bank statements, and it has now been more than seven months without any communication from them. They are no longer responding to my emails. It seems that they may be gathering documents from customers and then falsely claiming funds from the government for their own benefit.

Poor experience with this company

Poor experience with this company. They apparently applied for an Ec04 government grant for a new boiler and loft insulation. Despite fitting the criteria and the boiler being 25 years old apparently I didn't qualify but good news we can fit your loft insulation and extractors for FREE under the grant. An appointment was made to complete the work but with 3 day to go the company rang to say grant was less than they thought and could I make a small donation of £1000?!!!!!!. I of course cancelled. I have since asked for a quote from a local installer and no surprise he quoted around £1000. I definatly would not recommend.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company, we were eligible for a grant for our insulation and they withdrew our funding last minute so that we could no longer get a grant from elsewhere but offered us 'discounted rate' to pay them instead. A massive con.

A great team worked non stop made very little mess any mess they did make was cleaned it up I would highly recommend

I have had insulation and ventilation fitted by this company back in October but they will not install the new boiler I was promised to replace my 22 year old one. I think they are involved in some sort of scam. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Under the eco flex scheme I had loft…

Under the eco flex scheme I had loft insulation fitted which was done well. Ventilation extractors fitted next to my existing ones ? Why and the mess was unbelievable. 6 weeks later still waiting for my new boiler and I cannot get a reply from the company. I have terminal cancer will I live long enough to see this boiler???

Loft insulation and extractor fan

One electrician and two loft insulation installers. Electrician fitted two extractor fans explained his installation and listened to my requirements. Two insulation installers quietly and efficiently got on with their job.

Vishal was absolutely brilliant

Vishal was absolutely brilliant. He kept me informed throughout, was organised and very friendly. The service overall was excellent, highly recommend. Abhishek was also brilliant, he was so thorough and didn’t rush the work at all. Fantastic overall thank you so much

Very good workmen they were so quiet i didnt know they were working in the loft and the did an excellent job.

I would have given these guys 5 stars as they were really polite, they cleaned and tidied after and did a good job. The only reason they got 4 is because they left all the old loft insulation outside in bin bags (which I provided) for me to dispose of.

Avoid this company at all costs; it’s trading in the name of a government initiative and run by children Very unprofessional from start to finish… though thank goodness they didn’t get as far as my house, I ended the conversation thry were so bad… there is not enough time to say how bad this company are… wasted 2 months of my time and even then I had to chase them for updates Apparently I have to fully renovate my property before they’ll come in and tare it down again! Forget that! Loft insulation? A jok, best buy it yourself Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole!

Simple Green Energy contacted me following my application for a loft insulation grant. Within weeks of initial contact they had completed a thorough survey, fitted the government recommended depth of loft insulation, and additionally trickle vents on my double glazing and extract fans in my kitchen and bathroom. All free! I could hardly believe it. The only concern I had was the methods of contact were so varied it worried me that it could have been a scam. I did my checks, and obviously it was a legitimate service. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Otherwise, I can't fault the service.

The customer service is terrible. The women that dealt with my case just kept repeating herself and didn’t have the basic information to hand regarding information to the boiler grant scheme. I was told that I was eligible multiple times and was sent a form for my doctor to complete. I had to pay for this and when I sent it in they asked for me to go and get it stamped so I went back to my GP and got it stamped - again they told me it’ll all go through they just need this stamp. Then I waited a few more weeks and no one had gotten back in contact me so I called them for them to say sorry we got it wrong you’re actually not eligible and they refused to reimburse me. Had they done the correct checks I would’ve known from the start I wasn’t eligible and not paid out money they refuse to reimburse. The customer service team need training and lack knowledge.

I am still waiting for someone to come back and set the timer to suit us. It was installed 20 March 2025. At our ages we don't want the timer to drop to 15 degrees several times during the day. The switch on time needs to be set for 6am every day of the week not 8am. I have been able to set timer since. I recently phoned to say that the two metre exhaust pipe that is supposed to drain into the gutter was held by only one clip that is too low :wind has blown it out of the gutter and is dripping onto the drive. MY E MAILS HAVE BEEN IGNORED and a promise to come back was made May 2025. Finally E mail promising to put right problem 18 July did not happen. Still waiting for new date to be promised. The leader of the installation team Mr Singh put everything right on 29th July. I am now very satisfied.

I applied through EDF, I was sent a questionnaire, which was easy to complete. I was contacted, by Simply Green for a surveyor to come and assess our property, the assessment took about one and half hours. 3 days later i received a report with the recommendations, I received a phone call to arrange for the work to be carried out. They arrived on time, and completed the work within 3 hours. They were friendly and polite, and were happy to answer any questions and for me to observe their work. They cleaned up after themselves, before they left. I completed the final paperwork on line with the assistance of their head office. who wer very helpful through the whole process. Thanks for a job well done.

An excellent service from the beginning till end. Also good to know they cared to find out about the work. Good liaison with the client and workman which offers good reassurance. I wish they can offer solar panel services too. Being pensioner its a hard life where few cares. Thanks
