Choosing who to buy a Solar System from is no easy task, believe me. You are constantly being fed advertisements each claiming to be the best with all kinds of offers. I am old enough to remember Double Glazing techniques! I chose Glenfield Electrical why? Because the Sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the system and made recommendations that made sense backed by easy to understand data. She had experience of designing and installing the systems and spoke in a no pressure environment. Happily leaving without an order for us to mull over the proposal. The following day we concluded the sale over the Telephone just as she had recommended and the specification and order confirmation came swiftly followed including a guarantee for the down payment. So far a World Class experience. Now time for the hardest thing (in my case) waiting for installation to make sure I had made the right decision Frankly the time between order and installation I feel Glenfield could have done better. It is only a small critique but communication could be improved. There are some necessary approval rules that have to be ratified between our home and the main Electrical supplier, applied on our behalf by Glenfield actually everything rule wise was completely done by Glenfield. Installation day came and the Team Leader arrived spot on time and work commenced. One thing that really impressed me was that whenever possible whilst drilling a hole they had a vacuum cleaner talking away the debris! The following day the team arrived again spot on time same work ethic, highly Delightful Experience. Every aspect of the job routing the Cables, installation of the Battery and Inverter etc. and Electric Car Charger was done with Surgical Standard, again World Class. In summery Glenfield Electrical is a Supplier I would highly recommend, a World Class experience that has been superb.

From 1st call to completion of the battery installation was smooth and pain free! Instillation team and admin team were all helpful and they knew what they were doing Battery were installed on 12th January 26 every thing working fine. My only suggestion is during hand ever need to set up the settings and explain in bit better way- every one is not extremely IT literate

Excellent company - their assessment was totally about my needs, not what would give them the highest profit. All staff were polite, friendly and professional. Everything was patiently explained to me. They turned up when they said they would and cleared up afterwards.

The first phase was led by Dave, with a strong 6-person team that quickly removed old cabling and installed new wiring. They followed the plans closely and worked efficiently — very professional. For the second phase, Ellie took over and impressed me with her attention to detail and client-focused solutions. She went above and beyond, and her work exceeded expectations. Overall, the project was completed smoothly, on schedule, and at a fair price. Glenfield Electrical deserve full credit for helping my shop project come together successfully. Highly recommended.

We have recently had solar installed on our property. We had three quotes, two from big names in the industry and one from Glenfield Electrical. Having considered all three we decided upon Glenfield Electrical. Nick who came to design the system filled us with confidence from the outset. Nick is an expert in his field and designed a system that works perfectly for our home. Amy the project manager was fab. The install involved removing our chimney Glenfield Electrical arranged for roofers to do this for us. The whole work from start to finish was completed in two days. The workmanship was excellent. The installers definitely knew what they were doing. Everything was left clean and tidy. The system is now working better than expected. Self sufficiency at the moment is running at approx 96%. Since the install we have exported 790kwh to the national grid and drawn just 7.70kwh from it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glenfield Electrical for your solar install.

Glenfield Electrical did a great job for me. They took the time to come and listen to what I needed, coming up with an inventive solution to a lighting issue we had. The team who came out to do the work were lovely. Knew their stuff and did a high quality job. Would definitely recommend them.

Unfortunately I can only comment on the company's response to my request for a meeting to look at potential domestic work. I left a message with reception as no one was available to talk to me and arrange a meeting and was promised i would receive a call back very shortly, This never happened despite chase up calls and similar promises over the last 4 days I'm still waiting. Administration seems very poor.

Will came round today, from Glenfield Electrical to install a double electrical socket in our utility room. What a pleasant young person. Carried out the work in a quiet assured way, with all the debris cleaned away on completion. Apart from the fact that there was a new double socket installed, you would not have known that he had been there. Thanks Alan.

I needed my high bay warehouse lights replaced. Initial contact with Julie who arranged for Rhys to call and quote. His advice was great and quote arrived next day, fantastic. Work was booked in just 10 days later. Will & River worked with my warehouse team as we needed to move items around so they could gain access with a 'cherry picker' whilst still running our day to day operation, no problems, they were so helpful. Extremely Disappointed with Glenfield Electrical 's Installation of Ring Doorbell and Floodlight Cameras. Glenfield Electrical installed a Ring Doorbell and three Ring Floodlight Cameras at my house, and I must say that my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I encountered numerous issues throughout the entire process, and the company's unprofessionalism and lack of accountability were truly appalling. First and foremost, the installer named Marcin lost the screw for the doorbell during the installation but conveniently neglected to inform anyone about it, including myself. It was only when I noticed the missing screw that I realised something was amiss. This level of negligence and failure to communicate is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, it took a whopping 11 weeks for Glenfield Electrical to send someone to address the screw issue. However, the replacement screw they provided was the wrong size, protruding out of the bottom and causing further inconvenience and frustration. Yet again, Marcin failed to communicate this problem, leaving me to discover it on my own. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction is inexcusable. Adding insult to injury, Marcin spoke to my wife in a condescending and patronizing manner during his visit, despite the fact that I have video footage clearly documenting his inappropriate behaviour. Surprisingly, when I brought this issue to Glenfield Electrical's attention, they were quick to dismiss my legitimate concerns. This blatant denial and refusal to address the disrespectful conduct of their employee demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism and integrity. In a feeble attempt to rectify their previous mistakes, Glenfield Electrical sent another technician named Will to replace the incorrect screw. However, he managed to chew the head of the screw, further compounding the already shoddy workmanship. And once again, rather than owning up to their mistakes, Glenfield Electrical chose to hide the problem by not disclosing the damage caused by their own employee. This pattern of deceit and cover-up only adds to the growing list of reasons why I cannot recommend this company to anyone. In conclusion, my experience with Glenfield Electrical was marked by incompetence, negligence, poor workmanship, and a complete lack of accountability. From losing screws to inappropriate behaviour and attempts to cover up mistakes, their level of service was far below expectations. I strongly advise against using their services unless you are willing to endure an exasperating ordeal.

It gives me great pleasure in writing this testimonial for Phil from Glenfield Electrical. To say thank you for his huge assistance and fantastic service. From booking in for a quote to the job completion, this was handled seamlessly. We needed an electric fire being fitted. As the old one was a gas fire and had been condemned, Rhys a member of Phil’s team is a wonderful member of his team he made all the adjustments to the new fire in no time. Now my wife’s grandparents are able to keep himself warm in the colder evenings. I had a heavy chandelier fitted to our bedroom ceiling. Dave was the electrician who visited. He was polite, friendly and professional. But I still have some reservations about the work: firstly instead of two planks of 47mm x 47mm x 600 timber he put one (Paul advised to double the planks to help distribute the load on the ceiling). Secondly the nuts on the bracket were not put on. Thirdly, the bolts are still loose. I spoke to Paul and Dave and they both reassured me that the work was sufficient and I should not have any issues for many years to come, although the base plate seems to be fractionally lower than it was previously. As I said I voiced my concerns but was told not to worry. I am also reassured by the fact that there is a 5 years guarantee on any electrical work carried out by the company, as stated on their website.
